Eric Lithgow made my experience of buying a new Subaru a great experience. When I came into Nate Wade that day, I hadn't planned on buying a car, just checking prices, etc. as I was waiting for my car to be serviced. I purchased a car 5 years ago at Nate Wade and have been very happy with it. I had been thinking of maybe purchasing another car for the safety features and fell in love with my new 2017 Subaru! Eric was very helpful in every aspect of my purchase. Thank you!

I am so happy with my car! I've stopped in several times with questions everyone is super friendly. Today I stopped to ask about repairing a chip in my paint. They sent me over to the body shop where they fixed it immediately for free!! I feel very comfortable recommending anyone I know to go there. Finance guys are great too! Salesmen are not pushy at all either, I said exactly what I could afford and they got me into what I wanted.

"Not happy with repair department."

I waited in the lounge 4.5 hours for ignition switch to be replaced on my Outback. I asked two times when it would be done, and nobody could answer me. I noticed my car in the parking lot, and went out and demanded to know when it would be done. I was told it was done, but that they had called my home to tell me it was done. Why would they call my home when I was sitting in the lounge the whole time?

Have you ever pulled your vehicle into a service center and been told that you "don't" need service? It happened to me at Nate Wade. I had taken my Chrysler mini van to another dealership for service and an inspection and I was told that it needed a lot of work. I was told that "without the work, the car would not pass inspection". I was skeptical....so I pulled the car out and took it to the service center at Nate Wade. Mitch inspected the car, not knowing of the previous appointment that I had at another dealership. He fixed a few minor things with the vehicle. To say the least, the car did not need "a lot" of work and I left the Nate Wade service center with a small bill and a new appreciation for a service center and employees that do things "right"....based on what a customer truly needs and not on what the dealer thinks they can "sell" them. I am now on my third Subaru with Nate Wade and I have never been to another dealership for service. Mario Tunel has sold me two of those vehicles...and he is wonderful to work with. Thanks to all the friendly employees at Nate Wade...I am probably a customer for life.

When I first leased my Subaru with Nate Wade, I was very happy with the customer service. The sales people were not pushy and they seemed to know what they were talking about. A year later my tire went flat. I went to Nate Wade to get the tire fixed and they said they could not fix the tire because there was damage to the sidewall, they told me I would need to buy a brand new tire and have the tire company shave it down to the correct tread so it didn’t mess up my AWD. I knew I had a gold warranty on my car but I was never told what the gold plan covers. When I asked the service man he told me my tire would not be covered under warranty. I had them quote me the price of one tire and the shaving. I was quoted $360.00, I knew that I could buy a brand new set of tires for $400.00 so I looked elsewhere. For five days I looked for a new tire at a different tire shop. Finally I went to Big O tires and they said they could get me a new tire and shave it down for $210. Before I bought this tire I wanted to make sure that Nate Wade couldn’t cover it. I called once more and the man in service told me he didn’t “think” it was covered so I asked him “could you please make sure?” he put me on hold. When he got back on the phone he told me that I had Gold and GAP coverage and they would replace my tire for no charge. He told me he would call me the next day to give me a date on when they could put the tire on. The next day he called me and said “I will actually have to charge you $106 because the tire company covers only 75% of the price of the tire and its $45 dollars for the shaving of the tire. I was ok with that but I wanted to make sure that was the case so I contacted the financial manager at Nate Wade to make sure this was correct, seeing as I had been quoted wrong a couple of times now. The financial manager called me back and left a message saying the tire was free and to not let anybody take advantage of me. Sadly he did not realize that the people taking advantage of me were in the same company that he works with. An entire week later (still driving on a donut and waking up 30 minutes earlier to get to work) the day came to get my tire put on my car; the man working with me in service said it would be $106.00. At this point I was very unhappy with what was going on. I went to talk to the financial manager whom left me the message. He was on vacation so I had to speak with a different financial manager. This financial manager did absolutely nothing for me; he simply went to the man in service and took his word. Making me pay $106.00 for the tire, I was very upset with the way Nate Wade handled things and could not believe they could not give me the straight answer. Three days later I get a call from Nate Wade saying they had made a mistake and they needed to credit me back $45.00. This was a misunderstanding between the dealership and I. Fortunately Nate Wade was kind enough to reach out and make sure that I was a satisfied customer. I appreciate all that Nate Wade has done for me. I knew that Nate Wade gave great customer service and through all of this they still amaze me with their curious and helpful staff. If you are looking for a dealership with excellent customer service don't hesitate GO TO NATE WADE.

A lot of the problem was a misunderstanding and Nate Wade did their best to help me through it. I now give Nate Wade 4.5 stars.

Several days after having had my car serviced, regular oil change, etc., I had a crisis: although the battery was fine, my car would not start and I had to have it towed to Nate Wade Subaru. Long story short: No charges for the loaner car while my car was at the dealer shop nor for the thorough examination to find and resolve the problem. I am and will be a dedicated Nate Wade Subaru customer based on this business's extraordinary service and customer relations.

"I have to say, their service shop is potentially the..."

I have to say, their service shop is potentially the worst I've ever gone to. Shortly after our 45000 service we started having engine problems, only to find that the air filter had not been changed since we purchased our Forrester in 2005. The service that they supposedly offer includes a air filter change every 15000 miles. The lack of air filter cost us several hundred dollars of additional parts and labor to correct the damage caused as a result. After contacting them to complain about the issue, they offered us a discount on our 60000 mile maintenance that they might be able to right the wrong. During this maintenance the technician found issues that have never been issues with any other car I have owned, even at 180,000 miles. The old parts did not show any signs of wear, and the oil that was on them (which was supposedly leaking) looked new. -- Edit -- After posting this review, I was contacted by Kirk Schneider, Owner of Nate Wade Subaru. After a few phone calls, and an eventual meeting at Nate Wade along with his Service Manager, Richard Beeler, they were deeply apologetic about the unfortunate events that had transpired. The fact that Kirk takes enough pride in his dealership to contact an angry customer and his willingness to make things right says volumes about the character of the owner, and by extension the dealership. If you ever have a problem with this dealership, bring it up with them. They are willing to fix your problem!
