This is the 7th car we have purchased from NST. Always get friendly service from them without a lot of hassle. This is the 3rd or 4th car from Andrew. Each time he was a pleasure to deal with. I checked in with Damien at 8:00 this morning for an oil change. He said it would be 2 hours and I hadn't made an appointment, so I told him that was fine. At about 9:30, I see my vehicle hasn't moved an inch, so I walked up to Damien to check on the progress. He said they were understaffed and it was going to be longer. When I asked how much longer, he shrugged his shoulders, smiled and said "your guess is as good as mine". I don't know how this place is still in business with this kind of service. I had him get my vehicle out of line so I could go elsewhere and went to see the service manager in the office behind him. The manager could only give the excuse of 2 technicians calling in sick. I told him there were several more customers waiting and the advisors aren't telling their customers this. Would have been nice to know this when I checked in. I'll be taking my business to Supreme in Hammond from now on. More

Very bad experience with service department do not go to Northshore Toyota. Took vehicle in for radio Bluetooth problem told I needed a break job was told needed air filter replacement. When service adviser called, he mentions it with a bunch of other things, and I did not catch the air filter part. The air filter that was in it only had 5000 miles on it. It was marked with the date I changed it and the mileage written on it with marks a lot. It was a brand new Fram top of the line air filter. They charged $37.50 for a cardboard paper filter. Spoke to Nick the service manger he sent me to George some sort of customer service expert. He told me that I approved the filter and there was nothing he could do. Anybody that is a mechanic could look at it and know it was a brand-new filter. So, the way I see it they stole and lied not good for a customer service business. Stay away from this place they are not there to help you they are there to make as much money off of each transaction and not to help fix your problem for a fair price. Honesty and integrity do not live there.. More
Have had horrific experiences with BOTH the New Car Sales Department (Manager Colin Morris and Salesmen Nicholas Bloemer) AND the Service Department (Service Advisor Daniel Hansen). Colin and Nick are liars and unethical cheats, and Daniel not only failed to do anything to help my car in the SIX DAYS he had it, but his crew re-installed the windshield wipers incorrectly, cracking my windshield. Although Toyota ranks high in new trucks, my family will likely not buy one because our local dealer is so GOD AWFUL at their jobs. Plus, their response to the pandemic is scary at best. More
