OUR SALES AGENT WAS JIMMY AND JAKE. Have always wanted a Jeep...and unfortunately we found the truck we wanted at Penn Auto IN Allentown. We were pre-approved from an outside finance company....BUT THE GUY Jeep...and unfortunately we found the truck we wanted at Penn Auto IN Allentown. We were pre-approved from an outside finance company....BUT THE GUY TRIED TO PULL A FAST ONE AND PUT US THRU HIS LOAN COMPANY AND ADD OVER $5000 AND A BIG INTEREST RATE !!! To top it off, due to the pandemic, we couldn't really test drive or take it to a mechanic..so we had to just look it over on the lot. We heard a knock In the engine (believe its lifters tapping), the a/c was hot, the serpentine belt was making a racket AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON!!!! So we bought the Jeep with the condition that the issues be fixed....guess what??? So far no service call !!!! To top this all off THE GUY OVERCHARGED US ON THE DOWN PAYMENT. We signed an agreement to put down $300. He charged us $500. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM LIEING, UNKNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF. SHOP AROUND AND GO ELSEWHERE!!! There was NO special covid 19 precautions offered More

It's my bad luck to visit this store two times. I did call and made a test drive schedule. Within 1 hour I was there but they told me that car is not available . They just told me , their agent just try call and made a test drive schedule. Within 1 hour I was there but they told me that car is not available . They just told me , their agent just try to convince you to visit the store and see more car not that car. I am really disappointed and surprised their bad and liar customers service. I wish Penn auto group will hire knowledgeable and well behavior agent. I hope I will never visit that store More

Awesome Experience Me and my wife were very glad to have met the people at Penn Auto Group and especially Alexis. They are very professional and helped us find a car we Me and my wife were very glad to have met the people at Penn Auto Group and especially Alexis. They are very professional and helped us find a car we can afford that gives us peace of mind. Our car was on its last leg with 6 more months of payments and we were at the mechanic every week. They patiently let us try out 7 cars and once we made our choice they bought us out of the last 6 payments with a small profit to boot and we drove out with a 2017 Hyundai Sonata with only 20,000 miles. I hate buying cars. Always have. So, I absolutely DREADED today, knowing we HAD to purchase a car. I had a financing preapproval that was tied PENN Auto Group, so there I went. I didn't know what car I wante today, knowing we HAD to purchase a car. I had a financing preapproval that was tied PENN Auto Group, so there I went. I didn't know what car I wanted because what I could afford depended upon interest rates, etc. I was in knots of anxiety. Then I met Jake and Jim Pearce. They welcomed me with open arms, explained how financing works (I've previously had the luxury of buying cars with cash), and found various cars at various Star Automotive (they belong to that family of dealerships) lots that I could test drive. Not once did they pressure me, harass me, or try to corner me. It was the epitome of a "dream" car buying experience (unless you can just write a check for what you want). I ended up with a beautiful car and a vow to return to PENN AUTOMOTIVE GROUP for every car I will buy in the future. Many thanks to Jake and to JIM who - by the way - put his life on the line for our country. Thank you for making what I thought would be a nightmare into a quite enjoyable day - and for getting me one terrific vehicle. More
