I was on a mini vacation from out of state (700 miles from home) when my car broke down. I brought it to Phil Wright who was able to fit me in their busy schedule, which I appreciated. The work was a little extensive and the parts had to be ordered. I had to leave my vehicle with them, rented a car to get home and came back a week later to pick up my car when it was fixed. Their shop is closed on weekends so my dad, who lives in Russellville, picked my car up for me. After my dad got the car home, he inspected under the hood. One of the clips to the fuse box was broken, so it wasn't sealed. Also, my dad found a loose cover laying in the engine compartment along with a loose bolt. One of the parts I had replaced was the brain box, which was just laying on the motor and not bolted down. The box is supposed to be secured over the battery and then bolted down. My car obviously wasn't test driven and the brain box not placed back in the proper position and secured. Also, the in-window vent visor on the front passenger door was snapped off and the only thing holding it onto the car was the window being rolled up. I'm lucky I didn't roll that window down on the highway because I would have lost the visor. I wasn't receiving updates while they had my vehicle and I had to keep calling them to find out the status. I'm grateful they fit me in without an appointment, being so far from home, but very displeased with the customer service. I also had the timing chain and other parts replaced at Phil Wright but no longer feel confident about the car after they've worked on it. My dealership where I live had to correctly position and secure the brain box and I had to replace the fuse box cover. 2016 Chevy Equinox, purchased new, with only 50,000 miles at the time it broke down.
