Where to start........My husband and I had been looking online for a very specific car-a used Honda Civic, LX or EX years 2001-2006. Nothing fancy, just something to get me to work and home everyday. The m online for a very specific car-a used Honda Civic, LX or EX years 2001-2006. Nothing fancy, just something to get me to work and home everyday. The minute we showed up on the lot, Leonardo was hustling over to help us. I guess that was the best part of our experience. I was a little surprised to see a salesman wearing a baseball cap, but kind of pushed that aside believing it didn't matter if he didn't look professional if he was going to help us find the car we saw in the ad. Well, we really never got a straight answer from Leonardo about where that Civic disappeared to. Damon Wilson later told us it was sold, but that was long after our high pressure sales experience. Leonardo kept showing us all these other cars, driving us around their lots, acting like we were looking for the Civic we wanted, (I now believe that it A). Didn't exist and was a ploy to get people in, or B). Sold before we got there and he never told us to try and lead us into a different car). So even though the car we came in for was priced at $8900, Leonardo whips out this '08 Civic for us to test drive. I asked him straight up how much this car was, knowing that it was out of our price range and didn't meet the criteria we had specified. He kind of muttered something about 'transparent pricing,' and changed the subject. We ended up taking a test drive at Leonardo's prompting. I knew the car was out of our price range and kind of felt like our time was being wasted. My husband and I are really "nice" people. I say that not to brag, but to explain how we made it this far without leaving or saying anything! Leonardo was just talking this Civic up to no end, asking us to tell him the mileage again, and making it sound like we needed this car. We got back from the test drive and they had already taken the keys and registration to our prospective trade-in. We went inside the building, and I honestly thought we were going to sit and talk about the car and see if there were more that we liked that he could show us. I was completely wrong. He whipped out this piece of paper and started writing numbers on the paper. $21,000 was the first number I saw. I'm thinking , "is this a joke? This is wayyy out of our price range and he knows it!" So, I immediately said that this was just completely out of our price range. Here's when the pressure was on. We told him from the minute we were driving around with him that we had wanted to pay cash. We had saved money for this car and were going to spend what we could afford, no financing. This guy did not respect that AT ALL. He was pushing financing down our throats trying to convince us we should finance and it would improve our credit. News flash: we already have great credit, own a home and two cars that are completely paid off. Anyway, he kept crossing out numbers trying to get us to sign to numbers next to "I will buy this car now!!!" on an X_____________. My husband and I were just so frustrated and confused. We kept turning down every figure he offered us! He kept saying "what would it Take to get you in this car, out the door?" He was just obnoxious. Telling us over and over that this was a car that would last longer than the other car we wanted to see, etc... I kept saying that I wanted higher mileage because I knew it was in our price range. I told him that my anxiety level was now through the roof and I did not want the car. He didn't stop. We had to ask for time to talk, and he didn't want to give it to us! I wish we would have gotten up and left then. I knew that even if we reached an agreement price, I didn't want that car anymore. I felt sick to my stomach and wanted to leave. So, here's where Damon Wilson steps in. He tells us he has a Mazda 3 for us to look at, and he takes over. I can say right off that Damon was a much better salesman, but I never find it professional to reek of cigarette smoke and swear during business type transactions... We test drove the Mazda, (maybe just to escape that building), and I knew even if it was the car of my dreams, I didn't want it because I still felt so shaken up from the grilling we'd gotten from Leonardo. Luckily, Damon was worlds different and didn't pressure us into the Mazda. We ended up telling him we wanted to leave and it was no problem. He said he'd call us if anything came through that suited us. All this to say that Bill Pierre already has a bad reputation, I've talked to many people now that are laughing at us for even going there. We ended up buying a car at Blade Chevy in Mt. Vernon with a diametrically opposite experience. We recieced the most excellent customer service, great pricing and NO PRESSURE. They were genuinely interested in what worked for us and we never heard one word about financing after we said the word "cash." Pressure may get some people to buy cars, but they're not going to be repeat customers. Bill Pierre left a bad taste in my mouth, and my husband and I will never be back. More
Worst car buying experience ever! After negotiating a value for our trade in and shaking hands on the deal, had to wait an hour an a half to go into finance to sign papers. Once there, the finance person value for our trade in and shaking hands on the deal, had to wait an hour an a half to go into finance to sign papers. Once there, the finance person (Matt Sisson) used high pressure sales tactics to sell add-ons. After biting on the extended warranty he tried selling the service package, stating that if you didn't use factory oil filters the warranty would be void. Not a pleasant experience. Then finally getting to the signing of the papers and found that the agreed upon trade price had not been honored! Should have walked, but signed out of frustration just to get out of there! Missed the “document fee” gotcha. Emailed the sales person along with the sales manager and have not received a response. Shouldn't be surprised. Was not worth the 240 mile round trip, time or gas! Hate to give them 1s accross the board, but zero is not an option. The finance dept. has been totally inept in everything they've done and they still owe me money! Sadly, once i refused to accept a free an option. The finance dept. has been totally inept in everything they've done and they still owe me money! Worst experience I have ever had!!! Zino was working on my application and didn't hear from him for a while, so I called and found out he left for a month. Then talked to Steve and he told me that my deal my application and didn't hear from him for a while, so I called and found out he left for a month. Then talked to Steve and he told me that my deal was on the back burner because they had a big sale that weekend and the there were lots of Zino customers that were on the back burner.... Steve made me feel like a piece of crap and that I wasn't worth nothing. Then a few days later Hammer called and said he thought he could get the deal done. My hopes got up again and then he said he would call.... I called him and it took over a week for him to get back with me........ And he says " Do you have any questions?? Are you serious??????????????????? Not only once but 3 times... More
I had some questions and Michael Yamamoto answered them all patiently and courteously. He tried to provide all the information I needed. There was nothing about needing to qualify for discounts in add (I have a copy). Called Bill Pierre's, asked for price breakdown. They said car would be at $13,??? due to not qualifing for discounts. Told them no thanks because I can get that deal in my area and hung up. "Big Mitch" called back 3 minutes later saying his manager said to just do the deal at $11,998 and they would call it a loss from the East side. I asked him on the phone three times to make sure the price was going to be at $11,998, said yes each time. Told him I would get on the plane then. He said he will pull the car and put sold on it. I FLEW 300 MILES THAT SAME DAY TO "make sure I get this deal"!!!! Called "Big Mitch" when at airport because they said they would pick me up to begin with. He said they were busy, so catch a cab. He texted me the address. $63 later I arrive at the dealership. Walk up to the car and Josh comes up to me. I ask for Mitch. Says Mitch's dads birthday is today so he went home. I said I just talked to him 25 minutes ago, he was expecting me. Josh told me my car was being sold.I said, yep thats for me. He says no, for someone else! Test drove same type of car that they wanted to get me into... at $18,???! I said no, I flew down here to buy a car I was promised at $11998. Managers got involved, said "Big Mitch" was just now fired, that was him walking out the door. Funny since Josh said he wasn't there. After an hour+ of dealing with garbage, all of a sudden my car is available now...also funny since the SAME CLIENTS have been there since I arrived. Was told that they could only sell the car for $13,2??!!! Told them I was promised $11998 and thats why I FLEW DOWN HERE! Called "Big Mitch's" cell number after around 2 hours of being there to see if anyones phone would ring... the next salesman over, his phone rang at the exact same time, he reached over and shut it off and at that same time my phone was directed to the automated message! Could have been coincidance...but was exact timing on ring and hang up. What are you gonna do when you are 300 miles from home and have to work the next day? Exactly, and they knew it. I put my cash money down and financed the rest. Here is another big kicker... had my female co-worker call the next day and ask for "Big Mitch"... they got him and he answered the phone! Last kicker... turns out a co-worker bought a used Mustang from them the year prior, yep you guessed it. They did the exact advertise and promise one price and say they can't do that price when you get there!! STAY AWAY FROM THE START TO FINISH DISHONESTY OF BILL PIERRE IN SEATTLE More

Bill Pierre Chevrolet is an unassuming dealership on Lake City Way in North Seattle. I scheduled my visit on a weekday afternoon after setting up an appointment to see a Chevy Malibu. I was greeted warmly an City Way in North Seattle. I scheduled my visit on a weekday afternoon after setting up an appointment to see a Chevy Malibu. I was greeted warmly and professionally, and got a chance to talk about the features and price points before selecting a vehicle to test drive. The entire experience was fun and pressure-free (I test drove the 2011 Malibu and the 2012 Cruze.) I left that first day without purchasing a vehicle, and spent the next few days doing more research and test-driving other brands (Mazda, Ford, Mitsubishi, etc.) I even visited another Chevy dealer, but was not able to find a better deal than at Pierre Chevrolet. The atmosphere, the experience, and the final results (a GREAT deal on my trade-in and an AWESOME brand new Chevy Malibu) were more than I ever expected. I definitely recommend Pierre Chevrolet. :) More
