"service for repairs one vechile we purchased "

- Martha

Worse customer services. Purchased a vehicle back in September 2018, there was a cheap in front window. Was told they would set it up for service to see if it could be repaired, if not it would be replaced. Was scheduled for November 10, when we get there it was decided that it would need to be replaced. Even though we had a appointment, they were supposed to set us up for a loaner car. They told us that we would have to come back because they would have to order a new window. As of today December 4 they still do not have a window in stock. After numerous phone calls they final schedule a appointment for January 4, 2019!!! It should not take 4 months for a window to be replaced when it had a chip in when it was purchased!!! Left a message for a Supervisor Rick, who does not return calls. No one can say why this service is taking so long. I would not recommend Pine Belt to purchase a car.

"I am so happy with my experoence!!!"

- Mollyx390

I would highly recommend to my family and friends to go see MICHAEL LACERDA he was awesome and made everything easy and fun! He is by far the best salesman I have purchased a car from. He was friendly and funny and I was in and out with the car of my dreams. I can’t thank him enough! If you need a car you need to go see Michael Lacerda. He gave me the best experience with a car dealership I have ever had and I want other people to have the same quick easy fun experience I had.

"Refuse to do recall repair"

- Mike129

My vehicle had two recalls on it. One of them they couldn't give me appointment for over a month a software fix and the other one they stated that there is no fix out yet. I've called a different dealer and they scheduled me to fix both the next day.

"Nightmare and refusing repairs "

- Mike1080

My experience at Pine Belt in Lakewood NJ and Uconnect. Summary: Owned a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with 34,000 miles from Pine Belt for 5 months now and still have issues. Uconnect will not connect with my car and it vibrates to the point when you would think it is going to fall apart once you hit 69 HPH. Below are more details on how I had a nightmare time with the finance department for purchasing and the service department to try and get the car fixed. Service is now refusing to fix my vehicle due to NJ you can only go 65 MPH. Nevermind the other 35 states where driving 70 MPH is legal. Sales/finance: I spent several hours with Steven in Pine Belt looking at Jeep Grand Cherokees on March 24, 2018. Steven was a great Sales person to work with, but I wish I could say the same for the rest of the department. When it came to negotiating the price, Jared who was the account finance person gave a hard time. Would not give me any monthly payments or estimates without running my credit report. I asked to go with the current going estimate (told him I had excellent credit which was proven too) but refused. I asked if he could beat the price World Subaru/Jeep gave me on the same exact vehicle and ended up telling me to leave and go back to World Subaru/Jeep then. While shaking hands ready to leave, (forget his name) the sales manager came and spoke with me and then Jared in the office. Ended up staying and letting them run the credit report after spending 4.5 hours with a pregnant wife, I was not going to let the hard work go to waste. Long story short I ended up getting the vehicle had had a miserable time signing papers with Jared in the end. Service: After owning the Jeep GC for a week, I noticed while traveling the NJ Turnpike that the car had a bad vibration starting around 65 MPH as well as not being able to setup Uconnect access. Uconnect support said the calling card needed to be replaced. Scheduled a maintenance date/time with a loaner car. Arrived for my appt and was informed I do not have a loaner car ready/available for me. Rescheduled a 2nd appointment and the same happened, but this time they set me up with Enterprise to rent a car. Had my car for 1 day and they “shaved” my rotors noting the vibration was due to stopping and the Uconnect needed support assistance. Two days later I took the vehicle on the NJ Turnpike again and same issue. Spoke with Uconnect to register my vehicle and they said the head unit needed replacement after resetting the model and sending to factory default. Scheduled a 3rd appointment without a loaner since they are impossible to get and desperate to get a quick appointment. They kept the car for 2 weeks and ended up replacing the 2 front tires and spoke with Uconnect who said the customer needs to create a Uconnect account. Three days later I take the car on the NJ Turnpike and still having vibrations but this time is starts at 69 MPH now. Drove to the service building and told them this needs to be fixed. They had me do a drive test with one of the mechanics. He noticed how bad it was but informed me since he cannot go over 65 MHP in NJ he cannot look into the issue. Spoke with Drew in service (who has been working with my vehicle) and Rich the service manager. They informed me that they are refusing to look into my vibrating car which feels like it’s going to fall apart once going 69 MPH because they cannot drive over 65 MPH in NJ. I called Uconnect again for a 3rd time and informed me there is nothing they can do since the dealer needs to replace the head unit. I guess I need to go to PA or Ohio or any of other state to have my car repaired since you can do 70 MPH. Now I have to rent a car to travel from NJ to FL cause my 2015 Jeep GC Limited cannot do over 70 MPH without the fear of the tires falling or with my wife and daughter in the car. As of Today (August 2018) 5 months of scheduling service appointments and trying to get my vehicle repaired. I will have a 2015 Jeep GC Limited with 34,000 miles that cannot access Uconnect on the head unit and the whole vehicle vibrates when I hit 69 MPH and gets worse if I go faster. At the point where I wrote up the whole review to post for everyone to read (if they made it this far) and purchase another Jeep from another dealer.

I am sorry to hear your vehicle is unable to be repaired. Most dealerships have guidelines to follow, and the speed limit is one of them. Thank you for sharing your experience, it is important to help us improve.

"Annoyed "

- mytruck

Twice in one month I’ve had to bring my truck in for service and both times were a problem. 1st visit was for a heater core job. After picking up the truck my abs light and traction control light were on. Was told they had to be calibrated after the heater core change. They fixed the issue and said SORRY. Then a week later I realize my navagation doesn’t work. Back to the dealer again. Service deptment told me the navagation went bad and had to replace the radio. Come to find out the radio wasn’t bad and just had to be rebooted. Warranty company still ended up paying for the new radio. About two weeks later I had a exhaust manifold leak. Service department called my warranty company and told them the bolts were corroded and broke. Warranty company now denied the repair do to rust. So now I decided to fix the exhaust myself and after taking it all apart....what do you know NO RUST WHAT SO EVER. So now I take the parts into the dealership to show the service writer Drew and he says to me I’m sorry man I really don’t know what to say. Very disappointed and will never go back.

"Worst Service Department"

- Disgruntled Former Customer

If I could give NO STARS, I would. Brought my 2015 Jeep Wrangler in for a Check Engine Light, oil leak, transmission problem and a slight smell of Coolant. After a few days, they called and said I needed a radiator as there was a hole in it. They wanted $1256 for the work. They also said that there was no problem with the Check Engine Light. I told them to not do the work as I was not going to pat $1,256 for a $700 radiator job. On my way home with the vehicle (less than two miles), the vehicle overheated, which it had never done before. I got home and inspected the vehicle and noticed a large puncture hole in the radiator. It looked like someone (Pine Belt, I presume) had jammed a screwdriver into the radiator resulting in a large hole. I called Jeep Corporate to complain. Jeep Corporate called them with me on the line and got nowhere with these clowns. The Jeep representative got mad at Pine Belt and told me to take it to another dealer. The other dealer diagnosed the Check Engine Light and the Oil leak as a bad OIL PUMP (Note Pine Belt said there was no problem). I guess Pine Belt wanted me to blow the engine so they could rip me off down the line. The other dealer confirmed an external puncture to the radiator and is replacing in for $680 not the $1256 that the thieves at Pine Belt wanted. BEWARE: This service department is dishonest and thoroughly incompetent. I am contemplating legal action to get my Diagnostic Fee back.
