beginning of May 2021. It is currently mid-October and I have yet to receive the registration or title for the vehicle. In fact, a state-run Vin/plate check shows that the vehicle is still registered and owned by the dealership and that the license plate they gave me with car has never been issued. In essence, I have been driving an unregistered vehicle with a license plate that is not in the system. After more than a week and half of back and forth with the dealership the first week of September, they finally admitted that they never sent any of the paperwork to Harrisburg. Trying to get answers and resolution was like pulling teeth.
I will admit that prior to the sale, they were very responsive and helpful. When the registration/title issues arose, I was given more of a shoulder shrug and a half-hearted apology. Not the type of response that I would have expected from a “PREMIER Porsche Dealer”. Perhaps my experience would have been different if I purchased a new Porsche instead of a $40,000 used Audi. Unfortunately, I will never know – when I hand the Audi off to my wife next year and go shopping for a new Porsche, it will most definitely not be at this dealership.
