"Service asked for not performed. "

Ask for window washers be filled, Yes, Mam. That is part of the Cadillac 10 point service. Came home, turned car on and “Washer fluid low, fill with washer fluid”. Driver side back door working fine this morning. Got my belongs out when I got to the dealership. Get home and it is raining so go to get umbrella out of back driver seat. Door won’t open

Vicki, we are sorry to hear about your experience and apologize for forgetting to refill your washer fluid during your service. We believe your door shorted out due to water being inside the rear passenger door handle which you mentioned in another post. Yesterday we had already ordered a replacement part for your door so maybe there was a slight miscommunication. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your first service and hope we can re-earn your business in the future. Again we apologize for forgetting to refill your washer fluid. "Incredibly bad service department"

Our SRX had a transmission issue while we were on vacation. We had to rent a car to get home and after almost a month were told the car was fixed. On the way back home the check engine light came on again. Our local Cadillac dealer had to do extensive work to fix the transmission correctly.

Michael we are sorry to hear about the issue you had when you returned home however this had nothing to do with the transmission or the work performed at our dealership. When you took your vehicle to us the codes showed that there was an issue with your transmission. We wound up fixing your clutch plate and noticed the 1, 2, 3, and 4 clutch pistons were leaking which we also fixed. The work performed at your local dealership was replacing the cam shaft position sensor actuator and front differential drive pinion gear. We'd be more then happy to speak with you and explain the difference between the jobs performed on your SRX. We would like to stress again though that both of the issue you experienced after leaving our dealership had nothing to do with the transmission or the work we performed. Thank you.

I took my car in for a problem and they checked it and did not charge me anything. They are always nice and helpful. What smart business people. They had every right and should have charged me. Today, when nothing is free, my car check up was!. Wow! Gary Ochs.

"Broke down 150 miles from home, "

I was 150 miles from home, my 2015 SRX broke down and had to be towed late Friday evening. Albert , service mgr. arranged to have my car looked at Saturday, diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. He spoke with me Saturday and called me back Monday with an update, Rippy had my SRX ready ready about 6 hours earlier than expected. Albert was kind , efficient, prompt and exceeded my expectations. Great service!!! I was about half way between Wilmington andM Myrtle Beach when this happened - I was going to tow the car to the Myrtle Beach - but that dealer said they only had one tech on Saturday and they could not look at the vehicle until Monday. I think Rippy's staff is also limited on the weekend , but RIppy was happy to get my car on the computer and find the problem !
