Servco Lexus just took over Maui Subaru for service. Took 4 weeks to get an appointment for an oil change/ service. Not a big deal. When I arrived I was told they were running 1/2 hour behind so my car would take two hours to service. Again no big deal. So two hours later I tried to call to see if my car was ready. No one picked up the phone. I called the other Subaru sales number and was told the service dept does not usually answer the phone. So I went back 2.5 hours later to be told they were behind and had not started yet. I call to that affect would have been nice. Anyhow, another hour later they did get me my car. The other (old Subaru dealer) used to wash the car and the service was $130.00) Servco charges $180.00. They do wash too, they said, just not today as they are too busy. More expensive, 4 hours for an oil change, no way to contact them, and they returned my car dirtier than when I brought it in. I would never go back, which is a shame as I always liked dealer service int he past (but I never worked with Lexus). I did email my concerns with the service but have not heard back. Cindy the service lady was nice, but she could not make up for her dealerships poor service.
Update: Got a call from the Servco Subaru Manager yesterday. He was apologetic and offered my next oil change and service at no charge. It was nice to have someone acknowledge my issues and return my call, The offer of the free next service was nice too. So even thought my service experience was not good, in the end I feel satisfied with their response.
