"RIP mustang"

I would like to take a moment of silence for my beautiful mustang that was killed in the incompetent hands at Shaker Family Ford Lincoln. The complicated service of an oil change was to much for this dealership to handle. OIL was forgotten during the oil change resulting in a complete engine failure in their care. I was told my car wouldn't start and was asked if the car was making any noises prior to the service. I told them I was here for an oil change and nothing else. So they put me into a Hyundai Accent because shaker didn't have any loaner cars because their 2 star rating on yelp is accurate. I sat down with the service manger Rick who lied straight to my face about the party responsible being terminated. Rick then found me a Lincoln MKZ to drive because the service to fix my car would be upwards of 5 weeks. I get this mkz home and hear some type of ticking noise and notice that this loaner car is 7,000+ overdue for service. I call the dealership to make sure this was ok and rick told me he would look into it. No response, the mkz had a mechanical failure while I was driving it. (See below video) at least the offered to pay for my Uber home..... was never reimbursed my $18 After now being put into my 4th vehicle I missed place one of my credit cards. Call the dealership and ask if they can check the center console and got no response.... The dealerships offer to fix all this was to give me a base model focus for $15 dollars less a month than mustang or have the incompetent service department put in a new engine in the mustang so we can continue our relationship. I choose option C, the thought of having to deal with the staff at shaker family ford in Watertown left such a bad taste in my mouth I wrote a check for $2905 to end my lease so I would never have to go there again.

"Disappointing recall service handling"

Have never had a problem with Shaker Service and sales staff has been great, BUT this time I made an appointment to have a recall service performed. The appointment was made. I showed up at the appointed time only to find out that the parts were on back order. The work could not be done. So the thought occurred to me that a telephone call would have saved me a lot of travel and I could have gotten an extra hour's sleep. Now I must reschedule. I hope there will not be a repeat performance. Aside from this one experience, I have nothing but good things to say about Shaker's.

"Keep Driving"

If you are looking for a dealership that doesn't stand by or admit mistakes, tells you the problem is fixed when it is not, or an owner that is so arrogant he told me to take the mistake they didn't fix to another dealer then this is the place for you! Shaker's is the poster child for horrendous customer service and lousy technicians. They claimed that they found the root of my problem, yet the very next morning the SAME thing happened. Yeah....they fixed the problem. After I got nowhere with the service dept, I then emailed the owner. If you look on Facebook and Yelp you will see that Shaker's is WELL known for poor service. Anyway, the owner emailed me back and said I was forbidden from bringing my car back or to even come on the property. What a child. Not only did they not fix the problem but they won't man up and try and figure out the problem. Seems Shaker's doesn't like their nose rubbed in their own shoddy workmanship!

"Excellent Salesman - Rodrigo Gallardo "

I did not walk in there ready to buy, but Rodrigo took his time and was very low keyed. I liked that! He asked me what were the items I wanted in a new car. When he came up with a 2017 Ford Escape, I originally thought he was crazy. I never imagined myself in a SUV. I absolutely loved the way is drove, and the backup feature a tremendous help to me along with 4W drive. A week later I walked out with a new car...

Even though I didn't purchase a car from this dealer I want to commend for excellent customer service rendered by Jonathan. He is an extraordinary sales professional with such a love and dedication for his job. He walked me and my husband through all options and followed up with us. Even when we changed our mind due to financial constraints he refunded our deposit and kept informing us of all the steps. Thanks ?you Jonathan for your integrity. "Disappointed; service can't resolve air conditioning issue."

Shakers doesn't take pride of their work. 2012 Ford Escape purchased 2011, had to be serviced 9 months after for the air conditioning was blowing warm air. Consecutively for 3 years every summer I had to go back to have it fix-same issue- air conditioning blowing warm air. Last year, I was told that the issue was completely fixed finally as per Linda. So trusting with what they told me, I felt relieved. However,this year 2015 I had to go back again with the same issue, air conditioning blowing warm air. There was not even a break of a year or two for the same issue....Car is no longer under warranty, so this time they suggested diagnostic testing. I HAVE TO PAY. Ric, the manager, offered $300 as good will he said towards the cost to fix it which was $750. He thinks that he is doing me a big favor by checking my car for free...With all those wasted time going back and fort for same issue and NOT able to completely solve the problem, I think that customer deserves better than that. I bought a new car to NOT have these headaches, but unfortunately the car seems like a lemon. Their service people can't even fix it. What a joke!!! And they have the nerve to charge me $750 for it...Is it all about money to them???? What a shame...

Shaker Family Ford Lincoln is the greatest; my family has been coming to the Shaker family to buy Fords of all kinds, shapes and sizes for over 40 years. I bought a new 2015 Ford F-150 Supercab this week, what a dream truck, recommend it highly. Jim C. (Sales), Pat A.(Service Mgt.), and Manny (Finance) all were extremely helpful, effective and efficient in supporting our continuing Ford life’s journey. Pat A., Brad H. and the entire service team have always treated my family with the highest respect and professionalism. Outcome of repair work always was what was expected and excellent.
