The first day on the road for a vacation, following sudden smoke and burning oil smell, we determined there was an oil leak at the filter. We contacted several shops near our location and no one was willing to address the issue in a timely manner. We decided to drive back to the nearest dealership which happened to be Shingle Springs Subaru, spoke to Dawn Davenport in customer service, and she shared our situation with Service Advisor Mason Bright.
Although the shop was all booked, he got a tech on our little Forester, found and repaired the problem, offered to WASH the car, and had us back on the road with nothing more than a "Have a safe trip"!
