This is my second vehicle purchased from Rob Fox at Sloane Toyota of Glenside. He has been awesome with the sales process as well as helping with the service side of the dealership. I recently helped my daughter purchase her first Toyota, Rod Fox when out of his way to make her first purchase one to remember. So to sum it, I am about to purchase my third and will go no where else but Sloane Toyota and see Rob Fox.

ROB FOX PROVIDES xxx (POSITIVELY OUTRAGEOUS SERVICE). I’VE PURCHASED 4 TOYOTAS FROM ROB OVER THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS - ALL PLEASANT EXPERIENCES. RECENTLY I CHANGED MY PHONE SERVICE WHICH PRESENTED A TECHNICAL PROBLEM FOR ME GETTING IT TO BE A BLUETOOTH CONNECTION. I CALLED ROB WHO TOLD ME TO COME TO THE AGENCY. 10 MINUTES LATER I WAS THERE & ALTHOUGH ROB WAS BUSY, HE IMMEDIATELY STOPPED WHAT HE WAS DOING. 5 MINUTES LATER I WAS ON MY WAY WITH 4 SPEED DIAL PHONE #s ADDED & HANDS FREE SERVICE. xxx

I just had my car serviced by Sloan in Glenside. They were so nice and efficient. I waited for my car to be done and they continuously gave me updates about progress. The wait time was less than I expected. Overall it was a great experience.

"Pathetic Service and arrogant behavior"

I don't even want to give them 1 star. Pathetic service I have ever experienced in my life.I gave my car for service as it gave engine check notifications, l had purchased extended warranty and it was a brand new 2016 corolla bought in Jun 2016 bought from the same dealer- Toyota Sloane glenside. I gave it for servicing, and called minimum thrice in a day to know about the status, service representative was very rude and arrogant, he did not answer anything about the car status, he did not even bother to answer what happened to car, I was worried and contacted Toyota USA and told them entire story they said they cannot do anything as I am having dealer warranty , after 3 minutes I got a call from dealer service center and they told that I filled diesel in my car hence engine broke down, they also mentioned that it's my mistake and hence it cannot be covered in extended warranty, they also told that it would cost $700 to clean the fuel tank. First of all I always refill fuel from sams club which do not sell diesel so there was not even a single chance that I unknowingly filled diesel in my car. I told it to them clearly but they did not listen and continued telling same investigation. On day 2, I called them again and told that I would go for second opinion, after few minutes I got a call back from them stating that it was not fuel issue but rodent has damaged the wire harness and it would cost $350 to fix it. How can you have 2 different investigations within 2 days time. One thing I learned is they try to fool you by giving different reasons , they just want to charge more money and unnecessarily put the service cost on customer Please be alert before going to this dealer.l would strongly not recommend it.

My 2015 Yaris purchase had no tire jack supplied with the vehicle. I am still waiting for them to supply one. The sales manager, service manager, customer service manager, and "Ask Toyota" website have been uncooperative.

"Service call gone wrong"

I have purchased 5 new Toyotas from this dealership dating back to 1983 and have had all of them serviced at the dealership. Today was very disappointing. A 20,000 mile service resulted in a debacle. The service person told me that I had a nail in my tire, that the tire could not be repaired and I needed a new tire ($250.00). I told him to put the spare on. He said the spare wasn't designed for regular use. I asked if the spare was standard size. He said that the tread was different and would not stand prolonged usage. I insisted on the spare being used. Upon leaving the dealership, I went to a tire shop where I've done business for many years to have them look at the tire for possible repair. The service man at the tire shop removed a "tack" - less than 1/2" long from the tire tread and tested the tire for leaks. There were none. He informed me that the spare was a brand new full sized tire. I returned to the dealer, showed them the "tack" and requested that the supposedly ruined tire be put back on. After some wait, the service person came to have me look at the tire in question in order to impress upon me the fact that it was indeed punctured. I trekked to another building with him where the technicians had drawn a circle on the tire signifying the puncture site. I asked, "Are you telling me that this tire is bad?" The answer, "No, it's not damaged." I told them to put the tire back on. I'm an older woman and feel that this experience exploited my gender and my age.
