I came into the dealership for my service on my 2008 Sentra, and while waiting talked with Jon, about what I could do with replacing my husbands car... He gave me several options, and asked if I could c Sentra, and while waiting talked with Jon, about what I could do with replacing my husbands car... He gave me several options, and asked if I could come back when James was there. I said sure, because I had to have a service part replaced. On comming back, James and I talked at length, with me needs, wants, and what we could afford.. James, and Mike Roberts, were with me, knowing I was buying while my husband was out to sea... Kind of blindly.. We purchased our 09 Sentra, and were very pleased.. We got exactly what I had asked for and within our reach and means.. I was very pleased and do recommend them to people who ask.. so THANKS to all who helped me and my kids!! :) More
I went into the dealership only to look at vehicles for a future sale as my Nissan lease was coming due in the next few months. After spending much time with John Atkinson, I ended up purchasing a new Pathfi future sale as my Nissan lease was coming due in the next few months. After spending much time with John Atkinson, I ended up purchasing a new Pathfinder. John was a great Sales Associate. He was not pushy, very knowledgeable of the vehicles, genuine, friendly, and more interested in my happiness with the vehicle than making a sale. The entire staff I dealt with during the process were friendly, helpful, and overall excellent in the area of customer service. I had a new radio put into the vehicle in which I was truly unhappy with after the fact. John was understanding and made arrangements for me to come back the next day to have the old radio re-installed. This is what customer service is about! Hall Nissan Chesapeake lives up to their good dealer rating. I would certainly recommend Hall Nissan Chesapeake and John Atkinson to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. More
I have visited Hall Nissan of Chesapeake twice for service and both times I came away frustrated and disappointed. In the future, I will go out of my way to bring the car to a different dealership. service and both times I came away frustrated and disappointed. In the future, I will go out of my way to bring the car to a different dealership. I will never return to this dealership. The customer service was very poor. The first time was for an "Express" oil change during which I waited for 2 hours in the lounge before asking what the problem was. I ended up having a nail in one of the tires, so I appreciated them finding that and taking care of it, but I did not appreciate being left in the dark while I waited, thinking I was still just getting an oil change. I ended up having to go home and come back the next day. On my drive home the next day I noticed that an "informative" and "courtesy" evaluation of my vehicle revealed a problem with my battery, but I was never "informed" of this problem while at the dealership and had to read it on my own on my receipt! I would have liked the "courtesy" of them telling me while I was there so I could have it fixed without coming back a second time. This last time I brought my vehicle in for service because the latch on my rear door was broken. They did not have the necessary parts (just bolts) to fix it and would not be able to get them until the following day. I was told I could leave the car there, drive it home with the door held together with a bungee cord, or pay for my own rental car. I was also treated as if I had caused the problem, instead of them taking responsibility for the car's failure and the fact that they had replaced that latch themselves a couple years before. More
Since moving from Texas in May of this year, I have had the greatest cumstomer service experience from these gentlemen at Hall Nissan of Chesapeake, VA. I was the proud owner of a 2006 Nissan Altima, but the greatest cumstomer service experience from these gentlemen at Hall Nissan of Chesapeake, VA. I was the proud owner of a 2006 Nissan Altima, but since moving here I traded in my car and have purchased a 2009 Nissan Fronteer and 2009 Nissan Rogue. I was assisted from start to finish. Nissans are great vehicles and I will recommend to anyone I know looking for a good vehicle to purchase one. I would tell them to go to Hall Nissan of Chesapeake and ask for my main man, Ray Simms to help them (by the way! Mr. Simms had also sold my daugther a Nissan, Sentra, that is how we met). Also the Managers that helped Mr. Simms and myself, Mike Roberts and Keith McCullers. Thanks very much, Ted Fields, RN,BC More
My visit to Hall Nissan of Chesapeake was a very pleasant one. After having been scared away by the rude, unfriendly salespeople at Hall Nissan of Virginia Beach, I was a bit apprehensive. I was looking to one. After having been scared away by the rude, unfriendly salespeople at Hall Nissan of Virginia Beach, I was a bit apprehensive. I was looking to purchase my first car, and was not familiar with the car buying process. I had found my car of choice, a 2008 Ford Fusion, on the Hall Automotive website. Soon after submitting a form indicating my interest in the vehicle, I received a call from the Internet Sales Manager. I was immediately impressed with the professionalism of the Internet Sales Management team. Every call I received was very polite, without an ounce of pressure. All of my questions were answered, and when it was time for me to come in and purchase the vehicle, the sales person I was involved with was genuinely friendly and polite. Instead of telling me a minimum amount I had to pay to get the car, he asked me "what can we do to have your business?". I felt extremely valued as a customer. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this dealership to first-time car buyers such as myself, and will certainly be back in the future come next time I have to buy a car :) More
To Whom It May Concern: It's always been a pleasure To Whom It May Concern: It's always been a pleasure dealing with Hall Nissan (Chesapeake), and specically Mr. Rick Joyner. Over the course of th To Whom It May Concern: It's always been a pleasure dealing with Hall Nissan (Chesapeake), and specically Mr. Rick Joyner. Over the course of the last few years, I've purchased two new vehicles (plus 1 new leased vehicles) from this dealership. The customer service and friendliness that Mr. Joyner demonstrated was superior to any other sales consultant I've ever dealt with. Mr. Joyner is THE sales consultant who will make the business transaction (or shopping experience) fun & simple. There's no hassle (which is one of the main criteria for me) whatsover. Dealing with Hall Nissan -- and again, Mr. Joyner specifically -- brings truth to the saying: "The customer is always right." I will continue to purchase my new vehicles from Hall Nissan (usually every 18 to 24 months) and will always seek out Rick Joyner. From the very beginning the service I received in buying my Nissan Quest was the best. Rick and Mike quickly introduced themselves in a very polite and professional manner. I found exactly what I wanted an my Nissan Quest was the best. Rick and Mike quickly introduced themselves in a very polite and professional manner. I found exactly what I wanted and Rick immediately answered all questions as we went over the vechicle. After the test ride I was sold. He showed me all the features, and the whole package that came with buying a car at Hall. I was able to get the monthly payment I wanted, and it wasn't a big hastle. I felt as I was treated fairly and was not going to be taken advantage of because I was a woman buying a car. During this time, Rick made sure to include my kids in the decision. He really took the time to get to know them. He made sure we were taken care of such as: coffee for mom,tv/play room & snacks for the kids. You don't realize that something so small is huge when buying a car! It was late when we finalized the deal, so I wasn't able to drive off the lot immediately. First they insisted that it was to be cleaned up and had a full tank of gas. Also, I had my own vehicle that had to be driven home. Rick was aware of my busy schedule and offered to bring the car to my home the following day. He insisted even though it was his day off! My new Quest was in my drive way at 1:00pm, just in time to get to my son's baseball tournament. I also want to thank Sharon who was so kind and caring. She made me feel that all paper work would be handled correctly. If I needed her at any time she would be there. Thank you Hall for making my buying experience the best it could be :) Word of mouth is the best advertisement and you can count on me to spread the word about your dealership! Thank you, Madre Collins More
Hall has made owning a Nissan pure pleasure. Since 2006 I have been loyal in buying & service. No pressure, no gimmicks, and ability to work the deal and get delivery accomplished quick & efficient. Hats I have been loyal in buying & service. No pressure, no gimmicks, and ability to work the deal and get delivery accomplished quick & efficient. Hats off to Rick and Mr. Everett. Keith new car (sales)too. The office Mgr made complete disclosure of packages, GAP, warranty, and protection. I chose Hall Nissan because of initial product satisfaction, a 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5 S. A very satisfied experience negotiating then. Topped with excellent service and support for warranty service at 43,000 miles for front wheel bearing failure (car maintained 28mpg still) took it in stated my concern over noise, diagnosed as stated. Car was set up next Monday for service and delivered that afternoon. That Altima had an average MPG of 29.7, 58 miles per day round trip through heavy and S-L-O-W tunnel traffic. Not really set to trade, in February 2009 just wanting to look at a newer model - Rick said "drive it". Of course I was impressed, but the economy is bad right? Hall made a terrific DEAL! My apprehension relieved because I was trading into a NEW CAR with payments $15.00 per month higher than the car I was "satisfied" with. Budget was my wife's concern, I have to drive it so I appreciated the improved cabin, sunroof, Ipod compatibility, improved handling (that CVT is something), KEYLESS (really) features, service, and of course that REAL Handshake that Rick Joyner gives for doing business with him. I am sure my wife's 2006 Mountaineer will trade for the Murano or Pathfinder in the future. More
