I recently had my vehicle in for service based on a noise I was hearing in the engine area. In addition to the noise, I thought that the brakes needed to be looked at. After a few days, I received a call f I was hearing in the engine area. In addition to the noise, I thought that the brakes needed to be looked at. After a few days, I received a call from the service manager (Scott Bryant) informing me that the engine problem was severe and could require a new engine. After some time dealing with the warranty folks, Scott was able to convince them that is would be more beneficial to have the whole engine replaced rather then some parts. As a side note, this is now the third engine I have had and the vehicle is a 2005 Mazda 6 with 68,000 miles. Throughout the process, Scott kept me in the loop as to what was going on and never hesitated to answer any of my questions. In addition, he was able to secure me a rental from the local company and after some time, he exchanged it for lot car to ensure that the warranty folks would still cover the cost. The engine was installed and I drove the vehicle to my new home in Virginia. I had issues with the vehicle when I arrived in Virginia and had the vehicle taken over to a local Mazda dealer. A few issues were found with the work completed at Suburban and I reached out to Scott to let him know. Without being prompt to do so, he reached out to the Virginia dealer and took control of the situation. The two issues that appeared to be a Suburban mistake are now going to be paid for by Suburban and I am very appreciative of it. I don’t know many dealers that would own up to their mistake and make the situation right. I am very grateful for the help and truly believe that Suburban Mazda is a top notch operation. Thank you for doing what is right and for doing it in a professional way. Thanks, Todd Seidl More

They always wanted to charge me for items that were within warranty. Last time I dropped by the service manager did not provide accurate info regarding pricing options. They quoted me $500 more than their sister dealer in a different city. Madness!!! Another annoying fact this service center never has time to schedule you in; it's always booked for at least 1 week. However, when you stop by w/o notice they have room and accept you. Their ridiculous shuttle service is useless. Their loaner program, is nonexistent. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone. I just finished a review of the sales department, but wanted to provide an excellent review of the service department. I made an appointment online, they called shortly after to confirm. The service ad wanted to provide an excellent review of the service department. I made an appointment online, they called shortly after to confirm. The service advisor was friendly, courteous, called to let me know as soon as the car was done, offered a loaner if needed, all in all, great to work with. I would deal with the Service Department at Suburban Mazda of Troy any time, but it's hard when the sales department is so bad to have a Mazda to bring to them. More
