Sunset Ford - Service Center

Difficult to schedule recall work due to their limits on when they do recall appointments. When they contacted me to confirm the appointment, I asked if I could include an emissions inspection. I was tol when they do recall appointments. When they contacted me to confirm the appointment, I asked if I could include an emissions inspection. I was told that they couldn’t schedule additional work and I’d have to talk to a different group to schedule that. However, when I had the car in, they had no problem contacting me asking if they could do extra work on the car (tire had a nail, brake pads worn). Didn’t tell me my car was ready until I told them “no thanks” to the additional work. I’m glad they gave the car a once over for safety things. I just wish they didn’t red-tape themselves so much on the scheduling side. Had to unsubscribe to their mailing list (which I did not ask to be on) since I was getting a bunch of “alerts” for my car for the items I passed on. Didn’t like that so much. More
