Since I can't seem to change my last review of 1 star and customer service complaint, I'll write an update review. David McKee got involved after my negative review and has been working with me on the issue. customer service complaint, I'll write an update review. David McKee got involved after my negative review and has been working with me on the issue. David and his team have been trying to diagnose the AC problem but unfortunately the issue still exists. I will be bringing car back so they can contact Honda for further advisement on the AC issue. This new 5 star review is based off of their excellent customer service response regarding my AC issue , going above and beyond to assist me and hopefully will find a solution to the issue. Levi service writer & Martin shop foreman have also been great to work with on this issue. I would recommend this dealer due to their show of caring for their customer. I have confidence they will find the issue and will be resolved eventually. Hopefully the other 1 star reviews can be helped so we can get this dealer back to 5 stars. I will follow up with another review once my issues have been resolved. More
Jason Walter, Rob, and Alex really worked hard to get us into a much needed used car for our family. Thank you, all, for your care and guidance! into a much needed used car for our family. Thank you, all, for your care and guidance! More
I had a great experience buying my Honda, however the service dept has been terrible. After reading these reviews my experience is very similar. I made an appt with the service dept and when I showed u service dept has been terrible. After reading these reviews my experience is very similar. I made an appt with the service dept and when I showed up for the appt. I was told by the service advisor that there wasn't an appt scheduled. I asked if anything could be done and was told "come back Thursday". Great advice, I think I'll relay the message to my boss when I need to take off more time to take my vehicle to another Honda servicer. More
Great dealership bad service writers, I bought 2 vehicles here and it was a great experience, however the service writers never have your best interest, I get it they’re there to make money. Twice now I have here and it was a great experience, however the service writers never have your best interest, I get it they’re there to make money. Twice now I have had issues with the service department here. The latest one being this last week that the battery in my car right now it was only two years old. I called and check to see if it was still under warranty and they said yes the battery was under two years old just bring the car in and they would place the battery. So I got there and the guy that was supposed to help me was busy with someone else so another guy help me pull up the information on the computer and he said that the battery was only two years old however it was a replacement for a previous Honda battery that went bad so he told me that it wasn’t replaceable That the warranty was no good because it was a replacement for the previous Honda battery that went out. However, even though the battery itself had a three-year warranty, he refused to acknowledge that and cover it and I said OK, but would you prorate it then since the battery’s not even three years old yet, it barely was just two years old and the battery was so bad that it was smoking and leaking. he said no it was going to be a new battery full price even explain to him that the guy on the phone looked it up and even said it was covered still he absolutely said nope. It absolutely is not. I totally am fine. I’m gonna go to AutoZone and buy my battery there then got to AutoZone and went in. They came out they replaced it. The battery was smoking and hot and the lady said that I’m lucky the battery did not blow up between there and here is the thing is I bought two cars there I’ve been happy with them but the service department always let you down actually wanting to buy a Honda Odyssey but I absolutely will not be going there to buy it. I’ve had a good experience with the sales team, but the service department has ruined it for me for the second time with them . More
This was the single greatest buying experience I have ever had in a dealership! Jason was not pushy and got my family into an amazing pre-owned SUV. I took my 2009 in for an oil change, milage 106,000; on May 26, 2023. Usually I go to Arrowhead Honda but this was closer to errands. While waiting for my oil change, Victor came to me and said I needed May 26, 2023. Usually I go to Arrowhead Honda but this was closer to errands. While waiting for my oil change, Victor came to me and said I needed a timing belt, said and showed me, the carfax report indicated the water pump had been changed previously but not the timing belt. I thought not possible but said to get my records in glove box.. big mistake, he took and destroyed my records. Next day shows me report that the timing belt had been replaced previously but not the water pump! He was LYING! Arrowhead Honda confirmed conversation with Victor, both water pump and timing belt had been done by Arrowhead. Victor, with a straight face, continued to lie to me about the necessity of the “repair” and charged me $1226.12 for work he KNEW was not needed. I intend to file with Honda Corporate and get my money back and hopefully get Victor fired! More

I had the worse experience at this dealership than I have ever had before. We were waiting to finalize our sale after having already negotiated a price for a new Honda Accord. My husband, myself, the sale pe ever had before. We were waiting to finalize our sale after having already negotiated a price for a new Honda Accord. My husband, myself, the sale person, and whoever he goes and runs to every time we counter all agreed. We were waiting for financing (we had our own, but had to sign all the paperwork), and someone else came up to us to tell us that there was a special package on the vehicle and they would need to add that $4000 to the price that we had already settled on. We said no, there is no way we are adding that much money to a price that everyone has already agreed on. Then someone else came to us and said we can give it to you for the price we agreed on, but you have to finance with us and your rate will be higher, but you can refinance in 6 months. Now, why would we finance at a higher rate and pay MORE for 6 months when it was not our mistake? We said no. Then later that evening the salesman calls me and tells me, you saw the package on the window sticker, I didn't see it. You knew it was there. Excuse me? Are you blaming me for your mistake? I did see the package on there, but I thought it was included in the price. Probably had something to do with the word INCLUDED written boldly, in all caps on the top of the page. That made me very angry. And when I said it was not my job to say you forgot to add $4000 to the price and I just wanted them to make it right. He says we did try to make it right by having you finance with us. That is NOT making it right for me, that is making it right for YOU. I was really disappointed especially since I had bought a vehicle from them in Jan. 2022 and had a great experience. I don't know what has changed since Jan of last year, but it seems like they just want to pull one over on you whenever they can get the chance. More
I took my 2013 Honda Accord in for a simple oil change. . It took about 2.5 hours. Watched as mechanics stood outside smoking and laughing. Many other customers were upset as well. Service advisor tried to . It took about 2.5 hours. Watched as mechanics stood outside smoking and laughing. Many other customers were upset as well. Service advisor tried to upsell me on having the timing belt changed, but my 4 cylinder has a timing chain. Horrible dishonest people. They will not see my car again. Trying to take advantage of people is not good for business. More
If there is one thing I cannot stand, it would be a pushy salesman. My fiancé and I went to Germain Honda last Thursday to look at one of their pre-owned vehicles, a 2020 Honda Accord. We were greeted by Bra salesman. My fiancé and I went to Germain Honda last Thursday to look at one of their pre-owned vehicles, a 2020 Honda Accord. We were greeted by Brandon Schilling, one of the sales people at the dealership. Brandon was knowledgeable, helpful, and most importantly, listened to our wants and needs. We informed Brandon that we really liked the car, but was not prepared to purchase a vehicle that evening, and that we wanted to get a preapproval from our own bank before we even considered purchasing. We asked Brandon for a card, and invited us inside and introduced his sales manager. I thought to myself "Oh, here we go, this tactic once again to try and lure us in to buy this car right now". Fortunately, I was mistaken. The sales manager (I wish I could remember his name) greeted us, asked how we liked the car, and began to print off information regarding the warranty (It was a certified pre-owned vehicle). Not once did they say "come join me in my office, let's take a look at numbers" or "what can we do to earn your business right today?". Nothing of the sort. They understood that we wanted to get preapproved first, and didn't try any of the typical slimy sales tactics that most sales people do. I informed them myself and my fiancé would discuss that evening, and let them know tomorrow. We left Germain Honda, and went across the street to look at another vehicle (I won't say which dealer, because it's not important to this review). With that sales person, we told them the same thing, and we wanted to get a preapproval first before we discussed anything. Less than 10 minutes after leaving that dealer and sales person, we were bombarded with text messages. Whereas with Brandon, he allowed us time to discuss and make a decision rather than trying to constantly contact us to sell us a car. So, after further discussion and preapproval from our bank, I went back to Germain Honda to purchase the vehicle. The process was smooth. All members of the sales team, including Brandon, were helpful and knowledgeable. Then it came time for the "dreaded" finance department. You've experienced this before, where the finance guy tries to sell you everything under the sun, and essentially tells you that unless your buy the extended warranty your wheels will fall off as soon as you leave the driveway? That wasn't the case with Germain Honda. I told the gentleman I was working with that I wasn't interested in the extended warranty, and he something like "okay, not a problem" and that was the end of it. I was in and out of that dealership in about 2 and a half hours. I have purchased vehicles outright with cash before, that took longer than that, and the dealership wasn't slow either, Brandon definitely got his steps in that day with all of the running around he did. All in all, it was a great experience, I actually left the dealership without the feeling that I got screwed over. Our next vehicle purchase will be at Germain Honda of Surprise, hopefully we will see Brandon Schilling there, but as a sales manager. More
