"So glad I found Toyota of Wallingford to service my minivan"

While driving to pick up my daughters from art class I accidentally hit a big pothole and soon thereafter realized I had a problem with one of my run-flat tires. I was near Toyota of Wallingford so I rolled in to see if someone could take a quick look. I was welcomed by Genna and Gina, who initially told me that most of the techs were headed to lunch (it was noon). I explained that I needed to get to pick up my girls, and Genna found someone in the shop to take a quick look at my tire. Within a short time I learned that my tire had a small hole in the sidewall and was unrepairable. As I reached for my wallet to buy a new tire, Genna and Gina saw that I had bought the tire at the dealership, which they said came with two years of road hazard coverage! I continued reaching for my wallet because I was certain there would be other small charges to pay. Genna had me hold off while she phoned in the claim...and the tech mounted a new tire on my minivan. Within minutes Genna finished the claim process, shared that there would be no charges due, and that my car would be ready shortly. Unbelievable. Although I was a little late picking up my daughters, my day turned remarkably better than I anticipated after realizing I had damaged my tire. Quick thinking and action on the part of Genna and Gina saved me from paying $250 for a new tire.

" Worse experience ever "

I can’t believe I was told by a manager name Vern fortín that if I didn’t like the service that I got I could go somewhere else. One of my lights is not working when they was working fine I got pulled over after I left the dealership because of that had a nail on my tire but I was told that all 4 tires looks good but I go back and check and I still got the nail on my tire. The problem is that I get oil change with them for life and I don’t know what to do because I don’t trust them now I’m so upset.

"Fixed another Toyota Dealers problem"

I had to go to Wallingford Toyota because my local Toyota deal in upstate New York forgot to tighten a few bolts on my van after we drove down from New York. I noticed I had a problem called them and they wanted me to bring it in ASAP. After working with Shawna McGorty she reassured me that they would take care of everything to make my van safe for my family. Shawna tried to get ahold of my dealer in New York but couldn’t get ahold of anyone. So she again told me they would take care of everything. She made arrangements for their service manager to drop us off for lunch also a great person. We had lunch and they sent a tech over to get us. When we returned Shawna gave us the keys and informed me that the van is good to. She handed me the bill and said there was NO CHARGE and to have a great holiday. Wow what a great dealer I hope to do business with them in the future. Did I mention this was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and there was a 2 hour wait but they got me right in. Shawna your a great person with wonderful customer service skills. Thanks for making my day Emmett House.
