I purchased my first vehicle from Wellesley Toyota in 1993 and three more since. Each transaction was pleasant and professional however it is the service department that has made me a fan of this organization. From the very first oil change they have been professional, courteous and have bent over backwards to assure my satisfaction. I give Justin and his team my highest rating.

"Horrible experience"

I went in for service and it took more than twice as long as they estimated -- 7 hours instead of the 3 they promised -- and no one even bothered to call me to tell me there was a delay. No apology. No compensation. Their excuse was overbooking. And I missed an important meeting because of their total lack of accountability and consideration. Don't waste your money with this dealership!

"Damaged car"

Please do not have your car serviced here. I brought mine in for routine service. I was left with a damaged car and a denial by them of any responsibility. Please do not get work done here. It is not worth the risk.

We are sorry that you feel we caused damage to your Camry. We were very concerned about your issue when you told us about it and James Wright, our Assistant Service Manager, retraced the steps the vehicle had taken while it was here with you. At no point was there anything that the vehicle could have contacted blunt enough to have caused the dent that you indicated. If a scrape or a scratch does happen to a vehicle while in our care, we inform the customer and repair the vehicle immediately at our expense. One of the founding principles of Wellesley Toyota is to earn the trust and respect of our customers every day. If we are at fault for an issue, we are honest about it and resolve it. We purchased our Toyota at Wellesley and were very pleased with the experience. We have had the car serviced there and have one more free service next Fall. I had one minor complaint with the service , one was a car wash which was not a good job and the front window must have been dried with a dirty rag. They agreed to wash the car again at n/c. The second complaint I had was regarding my snow tires to be removed and regular tires put on. That wasn't done, but I was charged for it. I did not notice it, but assumed it had been done until my regular service garage went to put my snow tires on in Dec. and called me that they were already on the car and had been there all summer-not good for the tires. I spoke with James Wright and was very satisfied with the outcome. They will put them on at my next service for no charge. I know it had to be an over sight Everyone we have met there from our sales person, Ray to the service staff and red team, has been polite and courteous.

"Bad Service!"

I am extremely disappointed in my first experience with the Service Department at Wellesley Toyota. After calling the Service Department last night and asking about the cost of having a tire replaced, I was given a quote for a tire and offered an appointment time today. When my husband took the car in for the appointment, the service department had the car for 45 minutes before they came to tell him that they did NOT have the tire in stock! This is after I told the rep. on the phone last night the exact size tire needed and she gave me the name and price of the tire and offered us the appointment for today – but then the tire was not there!?! My husband wasted almost 2 hours (with drive time from our house) to be told that they could not help us today. No other tire was offered. This seems like extremely poor customer service! I am very disappointed because we bought our new car from Wellesley Toyota thinking they had good customer service. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

"Took vehicle in for factory recall service and was given..."

Took vehicle in for factory recall service and was given estimate for suggested repairs of over $3000 on car beyond free factory recall. Was told there was no charge for loaner and when declined to have them do the service was told I had to pay for free loaner or my vehicle would not be released. I was told by service representative that the dealership was there to make a profit not give out free rentals. Finally asked Toyota national customer service to investigate

This was the best service I've received at a dealership, by far. Chris has been unbelievably helpful and I continue to ask for him every time I need an oil change or any other service. Recently I went in to have a wheel bearing replaced and Chris greeted me as soon as I walked out of the car. He explained to me the timeframe it would take and kept me updated on the progress as I waited in their amazing new quiet room. He followed up with me a few days later to make sure everything was going well and I was pleased with the results. Not only was I pleased with the service, but also the price we were able to negotiate. It was far better than what I would have received going anywhere else. That type of quality service and customer relations from a dealership is few and far between. I would definitely recommend and continue to bring my business to Toyota of Wellesley and, specifically, Chris Massaro.

It was 100 degrees, I was stuck in traffic, and my car's air conditioner decided to die. What timing!! Fortunately, Toyota of Wellesley made the situation MUCH less stressful than most other car issues I've had. Everybody I dealt with, from the first person who took my keys, to the nice gentleman who gave me a ride after dropping my car off, to the service manager Chris were extremely professional, honest, and helpful. My car ended up needing a significant amount of attention (it's 8 years old), and every step of the way was explained to me in detail. No surprises here! And I was never "pressured" into anything I didn't need, which is so refreshing! Overall it was an extremely positive experience.
