I recently purchased a car from the dealership. I was satisfied with that purchase and was happy to leave a great review on this site. However, I went to the service department for my first service, i.e. oil change, tire rotation. Upon arriving I was told it would take less than an hour and they would vacuum and wash the car for me. After nearly three hours I was finally told my car was done however it had not been washed and vacuumed as promised so the tire rotation was done for free. The communication during this experience was severely lacking between the members of the service team and between the service team members and the customer (me). Rather than simply giving me the tire rotation for free and sending me out the door without all of the services that were promised, maybe the service representative could have communicated with me as soon as he realized the service had not been done and expedited its completion. Also, if I'm given a personal service advisor when I arrive for service, then why isn't that person tracking the progress of my vehicle vs the expected progression. After more than a 30min delay it would seem that someone (service advisor, manager, etc.) should start communicating with the customers. I have one more free oil change from the purchase of the vehicle. If the service is better the second time around then I will be more than happy to provide a more positive review of that service.
