Used Car Sales Manager
Multiple Purchases - daronandamy
We have purchased two new vehicles from Torrington Toyota. As a family that has bought, sold, or traded almost 50 cars in multiple states, I can honestly say that Torrington Toyota has been the best experience. None of the back and forth with sales reps and sales managers happens there. The salesman Gil was a true professional describing each vehicle and it’s features. No pressure or hassle. When it was time to buy, we dealt with Dave who happens to be the owner! Deal done in less than 10minutes. This place is easily the best dealership we have ever dealt with, period.
Great service - DW
Paul Carmon and the team at Haddad Toyota made buying a new car easy. Paul was honest, respectful, transparent, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the process and after the car was purchased. I highly recommend Paul and the Haddad Toyota team if you are buying a car.
Attentive, personal service every time. - Bill21
So nice to be recognized and given courteous reception--in this instance by Elvin Rodriguez--with instructions asked for in a pleasant and welcoming manner. Always tend to my need for shuttle service, and prompt notification when my car is ready. Shuttle drivers equally helpful and always on time.
Best experience buying a vehicle ever!! - Garygee
Bought my 2011 Tacoma from Jose in March and Jamal was my financial wizard!! These two guys made the whole thing painless! They are both two of the nicest genuine people I’ve met in a long time! 1st time I ever enjoyed buying a vehicle! Had a frame question & Mike set up the inspection instantly! Can’t say a bad thing about Hoffman Toyota! Seriously I wasn’t paid to say it!! Ha!! Sincerely Gary McGee Plainville Ct.
Great Service - Pete400
Cynthia Patrick went out of her way to review my previous service visits and bring my maintenance booklet up to date for my wife’s vehicle. She clearly explained the current service requirements and once completed, explained a wheel alignment might be necessary in the future but tires currently did not show excessive wear.
Great and Friendly - Rickraf
I want to highly recommend this dealership. It was recommended to me by a coworker and they treated me better than any other dealership. Shane our sales consultant was excellent as was the Finance officer Teddy. They made buying a Toyota a great experience. I will recommend them to everyone.
Waste of Time - Imsograceful
The reviews on google were similar to mine. I live in New York. Set up an appointment to test drive (2) cars. The salesman said he would call back to verify they are there as we were coming from another state. Got a call back to come in as both specific vehicles were on the lot. Got to the dealership. Test drove the one car, fell in love with it and decided this was 'the car.' Our salesman went to the finance team to start crunching numbers and come back with a price $9000 over what was advertised. Our salesman then says 'would you believe it. Same car, same color, same year - only difference is the mileage. The car you THOUGHT you were looking at is actually sold." We asked to see the manager who was a TOTAL derp. He said hey you came from NY why don't we give you some free gas. At this point it was 8p at night and they weren't really quick about filling our gas tank so we just left. These guys suck major.
Bad everything but I like the car(windows excluded) - MGB2018=mgb
The salesman was late making the delivery when I told him I had another appointment. I missed it. They took my checkbook, said I lost it, returned it 2 weeks later. Not fun looking for that checkbook over and over. Their paperwork said I traded in a Traverse when in fact it was a Ford Focus. That caused some drama. Car I bought had a serious defect that was not detectable unless wearing polarized sunglasses. When the sun shines and I'm wearing my prescription shades I can hardly see out the front side windows. I assume this will present some danger over the years. I lost 30 hours in wages because they kept me coming back, and then they refused to fix it. They ordered new windows (I don't think so) and they came with the same defect. Therefore Mr. O'keefe said that they could not get usable windows for the car. Every 2017 Camry had the same windows. Rode 17 miles in heavy traffic 3 times as they lead me to believe it would be corrected. i will file a complaint with NHTSA, already reported to my insurance company. I will never go back. They say the right things but don't do them. A big difference. Don't trust them and that certified warranty isn't with the paper it's written on. Also had a problem with tread coming off a tire with 17,000 miles on it. I did like Kent as he was patient and knowledgeable. Very pleasant. He tried to help with the window problem but once the sale was made he was toothless.
Medicore experience - Hdaley
Checked out a 2014 Tacoma, beautiful truck, was given a super duper low trade in value of 4,500. It is what it is, Jeffrey was a nice guy but we just were not even close to making a deal. I went to another dealership and leased a brand new Tacoma for 200 less a month than they wanted to sell me the 2014 for

2016 Highlander becomes very darty when driving in windy con - Highlander
We have a 2016 Toyota Highlander that is very very darty in windy conditions, the steering is very responsive and drives good under normal conditions but when the wind starts blowing you better pay attention the steering is so sensitive and light when the wind pushes and you need to correct I find that you over correct very easily. I think Toyota need to program the electric power steering to become stiffer at highway speed to help prevent over correcting in windy conditions.
