Buying a car always comes with the notion that you will be dealing with shady, money hungry salesmen. Who has time or patience for that? While excited with the prospect of buying a new car I was dreading dealing with whoever was selling at the dealership. Michelle was actually brought up in conversation with a friend and I was told that I HAVE to go see her, she is wonderful and she will get you in a car with no stress.
I was not let down, let me tell you! She is INCREDIBLY approachable, kind and articulate. She gets right to the point, ensures your needs are met and will give you a good laugh. I could have test drove cars all day with her and I'm sure we would have found things to talk about. I left the dealership feeling so satisfied and confident with my purchase, I'll never go through anyone else!

I usually hate car shopping but my sister had already gone to Long Subaru and had great things to say about Matt so I gave it a shot and honestly it was one of the easiest experiences in car buying I've ever had. I mean honestly it was just really relaxed I didn't feel like I was being forced into anything. Also I've never had a Subaru or a leade so I had a few questions but they handled them all well and I got a pretty affordable deal so definitely give them a shot, it can't hurt.

Without a doubt the WORST experience I have ever had! I will never use this dealership again. Service is horrible. Jana was rude and argumentative. The mechanic Ryan Daly clearly has no clue what he is doing. The service manager Peter Cacchiotti was insulting. And the acting general manager Joe Orefice hasn’t returned several calls. My car had a recall on a cat that was causing my check engine light to come on. They replaced it, said absolutely nothing about the car except that it was all set and sent me on my way. A month later I take it back to them for the inspection. The system says I have an airbag recall so they give me the courtesy car and say they might get to it today. They tell me that without even running it they can tell that it would fail, so I say don’t run it and I will be over to talk to them. After arriving they tell me the mechanic ran it thirty minutes after I said not to and that it won’t pass. Now the exhaust fails, the rotors fail (even though my husband just did a full brake job on it), and multiple other items are in the yellow or red. And now I have 30 days to get it fixed before the state pulls my registration. I then find out that the same mechanic did the recall last month and they give me a print out of the inspection from then. SHOCKING that nothing failed then but now I have all of these problems. I ask to speak to the mechanic and he’s supposedly not around. I go to get into my car and the center console between the seats is all ripped apart. Everything I store in there is thrown on the passenger seat and floor. I ask why they would need to be in there and she just says “well they wouldn’t.” No apology. Nothing. Then realize the hood was left open. Wouldn’t have been too good if it opened while driving with my toddler and infant in the car. Heading home I notice my 12 volt under the radio isn’t working, head back and they say they have to keep it to fix it. I pick it up the next day and now my Bluetooth microphone isn’t working. My husband spoke with the service manager who flat out said “we aren’t paying to fix your car” before my husband was even able to ask any questions and kept repeating it. The acting general manager still hasn’t called us back. Going to anchor from now on.

I shopped around a lot before deciding on Patriot. This is the second car they have given me the best price on compared to 3 other Substu dealerships.
From the start they gave me numbers, even over text before I went into the dealer since it was 45minures away which helped me compare without losing time.
They gave me a deal so far above the competitors it wasn’t worth going back to see if they could beat it.
Genuinely friendly and I didn’t leave feeling insulted, belittled or cheated which is how the other places felt to me. One place I had the sales person laugh at the number I wanted and didn’t even offer his business card, yet after we left I got 3 calls from their finance office asking me to come back. Bad method.

At first was hesitant because lots of things were being recommended that were not critical. HOWEVER..... they were more than accommodating with the use of a courtesy loaner car. Not to mention, that non critical part of the service uncovered a transmission issue that was covered by the warranty.

Bought a new 2018 Subaru cross trek to replace my 2015 cross trek. Cars are like night and day. 2018 car rids ver smooth and has plenty of pick up. Overall car is very nice. Would definitely recommend it for winter snow driving. I drive through the last major storm to work 60 miles. Only issue I had was I got stuck behind a team of snow plows. Car was excellent in the snow.

After visiting six Subaru dealerships in Southeastern CT, having numerous conversations with sales reps and taking test drive after test drive, my husband and I returned to Holmgren to purchase my 2019 Impreza.

Purchased Several cars from Somerset Subaru was never concerned about the maintance. Went their recently and the service people are lost and you have to make a appointment for a oil change. They did some work on my kids WRX and he found bolts rolling around under the hood. Went back for the same issue several times. That place will be run into the ground. Beware if your looking for satification.

Did not buy my 2017 Forester from Reynolds but wanted to try their service department. Had an oil change done before they opened their new building. Just an ordinary experience. I then had an issue with my A/C just under a year of owning my car. When I called to arrange a loaner, I was told they won't give me one because I did not purchase the car from them. So I had to wait. Didn't take them long to decide it was just low on coolant and that sometimes happens out of the factory. Keep in mind this was in late September 2017--haven't used the a/c much given the time of year and I have always preferred opened windows. I turned the a/c on for the first time late May 2018 only to find it does not work. I have since discovered there have been many issues with the a/c in '14-'18 Foresters. http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f80/2017-forester-ac-stopped-working-again-773673/ I don't feel they took the time to inform me of this and just wanted me gone since I didn't give them the sale. I would have given them many years of service had they treated me well. Going to a new service department and I will have a loaner.
