My wife and I actually had a really fun time at Key Auto Center of Portsmouth NH. The reason why it was such a fantastic experience was due to the people (Matty V, Chris W, and Anthony A) and the exceptional service that they provided. It is now glaringly apparent why the ratings are so high at this particular dealership. Initially, I was dreading going to a dealership because I felt like I would inevitably be dealing with a high pressure salesperson who hovers over you, doesn’t give you any space, and who makes the sale a priority over the customer's needs. Well, my fears were quickly put to rest when I was greeted by the salesperson, Matty V, when we pulled into the lot. His calm demeanor was refreshing to see in this type of business. The rest of the process was quick and smooth with the financial side of things when working with Chris W. and Anthony A. I can’t emphasize enough how friendly, real, and natural the interaction was with these guys which led to a stress free transaction. I travelled from another state to purchase the vehicle we ended up getting and in the future, even if our local area had the inventory of what I was looking for, I would go out of my way and make the trip to purchase from them again. Other car dealerships should use this place as a gold standard in the practice of employee hiring and as a model to structure their business around. I want to give them 6 stars!!!

The other week I bought my daughter a 2000 Toyota Corolla as an early Christmas present. I was blown away by the quality of service at PBs. Dan and Brian were very helpful in finding the car I wanted for the right price. Cant say enough good things about PBs. 10/10

I usually don't leave reviews but I purchased a mid size SUV at Route 111 auto sales in December and was pleasantly surprised. This was a pleasant experience with no pressure like most used car dealerships. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and all the cars come with a 1 year warranty and it does not cost extra!!! I will be sending everyone who asks here for their next vehicle.

I bought my used car from this dealer, and the sales people were amazing. All the way from selling to finance. And the service department is one of the best I've ever encountered. Whenever I have had a issue or question Ringo in the service dept. has always explained it so I understand it. Like when I need brakes and rotors for my Mercedes he made it easy. I will definitely return to buy my next car and I would always seek out Ringo in service because of the attention to detail and knowledge he has. He makes you feel comfortable. I brought my mother to them also to buy a car and they were amazing with her and her knowledge of cars is none. Everyone has made her feel comfortable from selling to service. Ringo from service took care of my mom then to. He went to another store in the key family and myself, my family and my friends follow him for his service because we trust him and His attention to detail. We will continue to buy and service cars wherever Ringo may be.

* (0 Stars) *I have never been one for writing reviews, however, I was profoundly disappointed at the lack of professionalism displayed by the team AND Rick the owner at Northeast Motors Inc in North Hampton, New Hampshire. Never in my life have I, or my significant other been more disrespected and mistreated by a group of people I was supposed to trust. Everything went well at the beginning of my purchase, despite having to pay for a costly inspection just to be told that a list of things needed to be fixed before I could take the car home to Maine. After leaving the car in New Hampshire for another week to have the parts put in and proper fluids changed, I finally got the car by driving back to New Hampshire. Skipping forward a week or two I noticed my coolant was abnormally low . . . and I just filled it the day before. . . this is when I called up the dealership, multiple times After being told I would be called back three days in a row. . it didn’t happen. So, once I finally called back a little more aggressively, I set a date for the following Friday ... Now, being a full-time college student and a part time nursing assistant, it is extremely difficult for me to find time to drive 2 hours to New Hampshire, and I had to call out of work just to get my coolant “checked” and be told it was fine. . . no one checked the coolant. After another day of spending $60+ on gas just to drive there and be told NOTHING, I went home.. and I was increasingly more upset. To spare the annoying details of calling back and forth and not getting a single answer, and wasting my time when I could be working or in school, skip ahead another week. At this point, I had spent nearly 150-200 just on gas to go back and forth because no one properly looked at my vehicle that was STILL UNDER WARRANTY. I had the right to be a little aggravated because I had to miss countless days of work that I couldn’t truly afford. After driving back to NH yet again, they finally looked under the car and realized, yes, something was wrong, but they didn’t value my opinion as the customer. My radiator had a hole in it and I had been driving it unaware for weeks. . . I looked at the car myself and I discovered the plastic bottom was filled with fluid. The part was ordered but no one cared to contact me when it came in, and the warranty ran out in just two days... I was running out of time to get the car fixed and they were hoping to get money from me when the warranty was no longer applicable. So, after calling and speaking with both an employee, and the owner Rick, I was told I had to pay for the radiator to be put in. I was broke and had already spent so much money driving there, the warranty SHOULD cover all repairs because I did not put a hole in the radiator in just 30 days . . . it was like that before I got it. At this point I was so emotionally drained that I could not speak on the phone without crying so I asked my significant other, who co-owns the vehicle with me, to call the dealership. Becoming more agitated himself, and I spoke my mind and was told by Rick to “shove the radiator up my xxx” and if I went there, I would be arrested. . . I was completely bewildered by the behavior of this man and he was now ignoring my calls. After contacting the North Hampton Police Department, I was told I had a trespassing warning on Northeast Motors, and if “I stepped on the property, I would be arrested.” I’m an 18-year-old FEMALE nursing student in college, what would I do to threaten them?? I did not verbally threaten them, I just questioned their judgment and became agitated because they were now ignoring my calls and refusing to put the radiator in. After speaking with the police, I was told they would send the radiator to the nearest AutoZone and I could never have contact with them again. I would never recommend this horrible dealership to anyone seeking a car. This was my first car and now I’m stuck with a car from a dealership that I can never contact again because of the trespassing warning.

Not a great experience here. Spent my entire day here trying to get approved for a vehicle. Filled out all the credit application paperwork by 11:30am, went back around 1 to find out they didn't put the paperwork though yet. 45 minutes later they ask me to put a partial down payment (which was fine) they then apparently put the credit app through. Fast forward... Not approved (still fine) days later I am approved at another dealership just to find that this dealership only gave me half of my deposit back.... When I call back today they were fully aware of the mistake but literally did not apologize once! Very unprofessional. Now I'll be waiting another day for my card to be cleared up...

I have purchased two used vehicles from C.J.'s.
Used vehicles, heck brand new vehicles, are all man made creations and therefore it may naturally be assumed that they are inferior from the start. Used vehicles, it should go without saying, will continuously need some sort of service and repair, pretty much ongoing. If you get yourself a vehicle that requires little maintenance each year, you can count your self very lucky! Maintenance free automobiles, are a rarity!
Most of the time I have brought my vehicles back to C.J.'s, and nearly always any issue I have had, has been remedied. Yes, once in awhile, an attempted fix made need a little more tweaking, but rarely.
As a person who has been on a very tight budget for a long time, I have always found the Proprietors at C.J'S, have been very helpful in giving me solutions and ideas that work within my budget. I am appreciative of that thoughtfulness on their part. Trust me, I have been royally screwed over in my lifetime, by Garages, Shops, and Mechanics, who took me for a sucker. I have spent sums of money I didn't need to. Yes, we all need to be careful who we deal with, yet I think if you are considering purchasing a vehicle or need to have your vehicle serviced after purchase, through C.J.'s, you should be fine. Act like a spaz, be an idiot, make absurd demands, swear and cuss, be impatient, be a snot nose, and be all defensive when such a posture is overkill, then expect bad service in return from anyone, let alone C.J's.
If you are one writing a negative review, and if you are a person telling others to steer clear of C.J.'s auto village, then I have to wonder just what sort of personality and psychology you present to all your fellow beings, that you encounter. Are you going into a relationship with this Dealership, looking for a fight? Do you have a nasty attitude going in, if so, then no wonder, you have a problem with this Dealership.
If you want a good experience, and act like a mature adult, I would bet you will have a decent experience, if you choose to transact with C.J.'S Auto Village. Business owners are human like yourselves. Yes, they choose to deal with the general public of humans by the nature of their business. What sort of person you are, to deal with, says it all, when it comes to the nature of the relationship or experience, you have at C.J.'s. As for myself, my experience has been primarily positive. I do not see any signage or commercials or anything that tells you, that this Dealership is going to treat you like a King or Queen, that you imagine yourself to be. Get real, you are simply a potential Customer.You will be granted a no frills transaction. Behave yourself and maybe you will EARN(not automatic) the status of a "Valued Customer", a mutual respect and understanding will then develop. Basic, right?

Never go here . Shady as night time gets. I bought a 2004 Acuara MDX , they told me my loan amount was $5,000 . They didn't give me paperwork because they said they had to wait for bank payout. They mail me papers over a week later and my loan was increased $2,500 !!! After interest that means I paid $12,000 for a 14 yr old vehicle.!!!!
It was supposed to be $2,000 down and bank loan of $5,000 . They magically jumped my loan by over $2,000 which with interest was $3,250 over what I agreed to

I recently needed to get a new truck, I didn't want to go through another winter in my current one. Being someone with "not so great credit" the process of shopping and getting the truck I want can be pretty tricky. I did some searching online and came across a bunch of nice trucks and called the dealership. The owner Bob answered and was really nice and told me about all the different trucks. I told him I had a credit problem and he let me know they specialize in finance and would be able to help . When I got there Bob greeted me and brought me out and had the truck I was interested in sitting near the door. He let me take it for a test drive by myself. I took it for a test drive and really liked it. I got back and expected the finance aspect of the sale to be difficult. Bob worked with me and helped me get a loan which was a lot better than I expected. I am really happy that I chose this dealership to go to. I got the truck I wanted and a loan better than I expected. I would and have already recommended this dealership to my friends.

never buy a car here you do not even get out of the lot and there are issues. This car can not pass inspection and they guarantee the car will pass inspection. They at 556 auto sales refuse to answer calls and do not stand by their written word. they are crooks stay away!!!

these people dan and judy manteuffel will tell you anything to get to buy one of their overpriced lemons. they do not disclose information about car you buy and we got an $8000 lemon. less then 60 days into loan second payment wasnt even made yet and transmission gone was defective prior to purchase as i had a transmission experttake it down and look at it. tranmission was completely burnt out in the housing, no fluids left!!! $3000 repairs and they will not do anything to fix this would never do business with them again or recommed that anyone else either

I found the truck perfect truck for me. I have been looking for a few months. I live almost 4 hours away, in Maine. I dealt online with one of the sales people. The truck I wanted was listed for $39,995, and it books for only $36,000. I understand starting high, to try to get book value out of a vehicle, I have no problem, with that. I asked for a price, and the quoted me $37,500. OK... Fine. They are still asking far too much for the truck, but maybe it's because they are worried that I am going to try to trade in some junk that they have to show me more money for than it's worth. So, I ask if they can give me an idea of what they would give me for my truck. They tell me they certainly can, if I provide pictures and the VIN. So, I did. 4 days later, nothing, another day goes by and I tell them I really need to know what they can do for me, so I can make plans to drive to NH on my only day off of the week. Still, nothing. So, I submit another internet lead and ask what the delay is. One of the Owners, Bob, replies back and says he doesn't know what I am talking about, because there is a log of e-mails back and forth between the sales person and myself. I said yes, but he told me he would get me an estimate on my trade, and never has. Bob then replies "we are not just going to throw a number out there, it's time to call us or stop by with the trade, we have gone as far as we can with emails" Just like that. No proper grammar or anything. So, I replied that it was very disappointing that I was told six days prior that they could give me a figure, and it wouldn't be a problem. I explain I buy a truck every 18-24 months (which is no exaggeration, though it's closer to every year). So, then a different owner, Mike, replies "Hi Mike your trade is a little too new for us. Thank you for your time" I have a 2013 Chevy Silverado Z71 Crew Cab. They have two 2013s available for sale, as well as a 2015. Terrible customer service! Also, never in the last 18 years and 16 cars I've had, have I ever been told I can't get a reasonable estimate over the phone or online. I even told them about the small things like it will need new tires, and has a small dent. I was up front and honest with them. That's all I asked for from them, and they couldn't deliver.
