Very positive and completed in less time than expected. - Swettmaze
Eric was very courteous and sincerely interested in my satisfaction with the service. Eric made sure to investigate an issue with a cut in the leather upholstery and assured me he would follow up on whether it would be covered under warranty.
Not good service - firstname.lastname@example.org
Last service check.up was a joke. None of my fluids were filled and I mentioned my vehicle was pulling to the right when driving...issue not rectified. Most like going with another dealership and/or different brand of car.
Fantastic sales - T&T
Both Kurt MacKenzie, salesman, and Nick Chabot, sales manager, did great jobs convincing us that the Toyota was the definite car for us. Thanks, guys! You were right!
Good up to the point that a lift gate accessory installation - carfellow
Good salesmanship and pleasant experience unless you have an.accessory to be installed. I was given the impression that someone from Toyota would install the lift gate accessory. It turned to be an independent vendor, and the appointment for that person to come to my house was made by the salesperson without informing me. The salesman insists that I confirmed the appointment which is not true. So, I am more than a little annoyed, but the RAV4 is okay.
I had a similar experience after purchasing a Camry a few years earlier. In this case I brought the car back to the dealership for installation of a seat warmer. When I returned the next day, the car was gone. It had been sent to Westbrook for the seat warmer installation. I had to make a second trip to the dealership to get the car, and the gas tank was nearly empty.
So, why does Lee Toyota want try to hide the fact that these jobs are not being done by their own staff?
I have purchased 5 vehicles from Lee Toyota because I have gotten good deals and dealt with many good people, but the accessory thing makes me very unhappy. It might be time for a change!
2017 Toyota Tacoma - - Too-Sad
Transfer Case went during snow storm on Rte 16 in Rochester NH. Had it towed and then repaired. Bumper was cracked when returned. No one is taking responsibility.
Crooked Deal Breakers - Ram 3500
I recently tried to purchase a new Tundra for my wife at Emerson Toyota and was treated as poorly as I ever have been at any car dealer.
I stopped in and discussed my needs with my salesperson, Corey. Over the next few days we negotiated by phone. We finally agreed to a number, accessories and financing over the phone. I gave him all my information for financing and my credit card for a deposit. He called back several minutes later and informed me that he was sorry but he could not honor the deal as we discussed. He said he was incorrect in saying I could get the rebate we agreed to with the 0% financing we agreed to. I told him changing the deal at this point was not acceptable. Corey was polite and apologetic but we did not come to a new agreement.
I called back a couple days later but Corey was not available. I was directed to Nick. Nick did not have of the paper work so he was going to talk to Corey first. I explained the situation as best I understood and he assured me if Corey corroborated what I said that he would honor the deal. Corey eventually replied with a deal worse than the original. I declined. This was followed by an offer that was numerically and accessory wise the same as I had agreed to originally but without the 0% financing. I called to talk to Nick to remind him about our discussion about honoring our deal. He said he would not. I asked to speak to the General Manager and he replied that he was essentially the GM. I asked if I could talk to the regional manager. He replied "Go ahead but we are privately owned so there is nothing they can do for you."
I called to talk to the owner, Jim twice. He was not in the dealership either time so I asked for his email address. I emailed him almost exactly what I have said here with my contact info. No response from Jim.
I called the office for the regional manager for Toyota and they put me in touch with Toyota customer Service. This person was polite and told me they would contact George at Emerson's Customer service and he would get in touch with me in no less than 2 days. George must be busy with other customers because that didn't happen.
Don't go here for parts - carguy894
Don't come here if you're looking for parts. Unfortunately, the only way to get the part I need is through a dealer. The person who helped me clearly does not want to be there and has no interest in helping a customer find what they need. When overpaying for a part, at least the person I'm dealing with can have a pleasant attitude? Guess not.
