I have been dealing with Bradshaw's for many years. Over these years, I have dealt with every department. The parts department has always had the right parts for my vehicles and I have never felt overcharged. Dave, Rick and Steve in service have done everything in their power to accommodate my needs within a reasonable time frame. My cars have always been repaired to my expectations and never has there been any grease or dirt left inside or outside the cars by the mechanics. Maryann in the warranty department is very knowledgeable and has handled everything without a single problem. Joe in sales is on top of his game. He inquired as to what I wanted in a vehicle and found the perfect one for me in my price range. Since the sale he has followed up with me to make sure I was happy and there weren't any problems with the car. I spoke with Allie Fritz in regards to a 2019 Jeep Compass Altitude she was very helpful and I was looking forward to having a great experience as a first time car shopper at this dealership. I drove from NY to CT due to advertising online for my car of interest. I printed out pictures of the car I had an interest in which was advertised for $29,666 however, while sitting with Finance Manager: Charlie he was telling me that the car is $32,000. This to me was odd as I’d been eying this car for the month of November with the $29,666 price. It appears that the dealership upped the price after the inquiry I made in hopes that I would pay an arm and leg for 2019 due to my commute.
To make matters worse, the salesman I worked with “Bob” was not helpful in answering my questions and gave very poor customer service. Every question I had, he directed me to speak to Charlie. When I asked to speak with Charlie, directly, he informed me that he was not available. Bob asked me things such as my sales tax in NY, how much money I wanted to put down and credit score, before even taking me on a test drive for the car I was interested in. Furthermore, he was very condescending in referring to me as young lady and my farther as young man. I explained to both representatives that I was interested in leasing, however, despite this was being convinced to finance. Charlie agreed, to “reach out to the banks to see if a lease was possible, however after reviewing my credit report no call was even made”.
After not seeing eye to on the car I wanted, Charlie and Bob convinced me to take a look at a used 2019 Jeep Limited which I explained to them I was not interested in purchasing a used vehicle. Despite this, I took a test drive...to which Bob would not allow me to drive off the lot stating it’s a very dangerous road....to only drive a less than a mile down on the same road to switch off”. I explained to Bob the car presented was not the color I was looking for nor did it have the feature I wanted( a sun roof). He said don’t worry about it this is better car, the seats are “more cushioned...look at the rims on this one”, things that I explained to him were not my wants for a car. I said to Bob these seats are the same as the Altitude and he said no these are better...as if I did not do my research on the different models for the Compass.
After entertaining this idea of a used car, we talked numbers and the quote was outrageous something that would be more suitable for a Grand Cherokee. I thanked Bob for his time, and he said speak to Charlie before you leave. At this point I felt like Bob and Charlie were trying to take advantage of the fact that I was young and new to purchasing a car. Charlie walked out to me while in my car and I informed that the cars presented were not suitable for my needs and thanked him for his time.
I winded up driving down the street to Nissan of Norwich where I had the COMPLETE opposite experience from this experience. I was able to walk out with a 2020 vehicle for less than the quotes I was presented with at this dealership. I would definitely recommend any buyer staying clear of the two staff members in this review.
Lastly, after driving home in my new car, I reviewed Falveys used car inventory. The sad part about this experience is that they had a car that was in my budget with the color I wanted and could’ve had my business if the two staff members listened to my needs and wants instead of trying to sell me what they felt was good for me.

Wetmore’s JEEP employees are NOT WEARING MASKS.. 7 out of 11 employees I was close to were maskless - One man shouted it me that he was 6 feet away and that’s all he had to do. I was meant to sit in a room with several maskless employees ( David) talking on the phone while my oil was changed. The employees refused to comply and were very angry. It’s a shame because the two service managers ( both masked and behind glass .(Tyler) are great.

They never should have changed the staff in the service department. Complained that there is something wrong with exhaust/emissions last 3 or 4 times I was there. Engine light comes on for the second time in as many months. An emission problem they said. I also needed my emissions test done at the same time. They did the test BEFORE checking why the engine light was on and my car failed the test. There were other problems that I'm sure were there on my previous visits that all of a sudden they found. I took my car to another mechanic and he found more issues than Robert's had told me. This mechanic told me also that I yes indeed do have an exhaust issue even though Robert's service manager told me he checked himself and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Evidently unless your check engine light comes on and a code comes up on the diagnostic to tell them what to do they can't do a thorough inspection on their own. Take it to a self owned mechanic and he thoroughly checks the car and finds the issues by actually looking for them. The price of fixing all of the actual issues is so high that I will be looking for a new vehicle when I least need to be. I have been a faithful customer for over 12 years but with such disrespect for me and my vehicle I will be looking elsewhere for my new vehicle. Loyalty obviously means nothing here.

Bob Kravetz (mgr.) and Keith (salesman) shouldn’t be in sales. First Keith lies about almost everything from lease disposition fee to how dealership would handle my remaining pymts. My fault was not getting it all in writing but was assured numerous times there wasn’t going to be any issues. Found out weeks via via letters in mail that nothing Keith said was true. Called Keith first about it, started stumbling his words, made excuses it had to be miscommunication and never called back. Then called Bob and he also stated would look into it and this clown 🤡 never called back either. Lesson here is get whatever these clowns tell u in writing otherwise it’s FALSE. Stay away from this dealership.

Bought a certified Grand Cherokee end of August beginning of September from Ellington. Today 11/4 I picked my car up from service for the 3rd time. One issue is intermittent but my new car will not start and I’m afraid of getting stranded somewhere. Today I was asked if I am pressing the button properly and then told “well maybe you have a Wonky buttton” So now that I have been treated like a dumb female my question is, if this is an ongoing issue I am having and your telling me it’s a wonky button, why would you not change said button. I have had 5 push button start cars and even a dumb female such as myself knows how to press a button and start a vehicle.
