Bob DiManno, Bobby Grospich and Ken the Finance guy (I cant remember his last name) went above and beyond to get me out of my old wrecker to get me into my first SUV and I absolutely love it! These guys are amazing and they will not quit until you’re happy!

We are based in NJ and were looking to purchase a Chrysler Pacifica with specific options. Our local dealers didn't have any stock meeting the requirements, but Fitzpatricks had a few available. While the drive wasn't too long, we wanted to get a tentative agreement on the pricing over emails before we headed over, especially given that we had to bring our two little kids along, and Mark was very helpful in this regard (unlike other non-local dealers that we contacted that also had some stock meeting our requirements). With the agreement reached, we drove to Ansonia, CT. The overall experience was quite smooth, they gave us a very good price on our trade-in, and Dan helped a lot also with the process, including going over the features of the car. Overall, we can highly recommend Fitzpatricks.

I strongly believe this place does not inspect their vehicles. I would stay far away from this dealership and recommend it no one. This dealership put profit over the safety and satisfaction of me and my family. When we reported 2 problems 6 days after buying our vehicle that made our vehicle unsafe, (transmission problems and heavy vibrating while braking) they refused to fix the problem at first and told us "nothing we can do" It took us 3 WEEKS to finally reach an agreement. They asked us multiple times for money to cover the repairs even though it is the dealerships legal obligation to make the car safe. In my opinion they tried to take advantage of us multiple times and when it was all said and done they only fixed 1 problem, returned our car with an empty gas tank and filthy floor mats. I'll be taking this car elsewhere for the repairs because this dealership is not worth the time and frustration.

A friend recommended seeing Jimmy at Capitol after my 2004 VW left me stranded for the last time. I was looking for something reliable and good in the snow. I stopped by to see a Subaru that was available and Jimmy instantly greeted me and showed me the car. He was there every step of the way to help answer my questions and get me the best rate possible for this vehicle. The vehicle wasn't available instantly due to an airbag recall that needed to be fixed. The team at Capitol were extremely helpful during this process and even let me use a loner vehicle so that I would have something to get around in. I discovered that there was no windshield wiper fluid after a service for oil change and multi point inspection. Inspection Report says checked fluids! Makes me wonder what else was not checked.

Service Center did not preform required maintnence - Chase Alberti
I brought my 2015 Jeep Compass for the 60,000 mile check-up, after 3 hours I found out they have only completed an oil change. After returning the car I could visibly see they did not rotate the tires and reminded them to. I watched them rotate my tires and a technician drooped my tire and scrapped some of the finish off. When I got my Compass back home I started to inspect the car myself and found discrepancies between what they had written down and what I saw. In addition, they did not preform the mandatory maintenance as described in the owner's manual. It turns out they missed all of the big repairs such as replacing the rear diff., transfer case, and transmission oils. Also, they did not change the spark plugs and air filters nor inspect critical components such as the cv joints or tie rod links.
In summary, bring your Jeep to another dealership if you value your car and your safety!

Lease return ISSUES. - Dissatisfied
Called yesterday evening to schedule dropping off my end of lease vehicle. Was told I can bring it in before 5pm. I called again this morning and was told again to just bring it in.
I arrive at 930am. Was greeted by a person from the far left side desk. He took a pic of my mileage and of the VIN number. He then went next door to Meadowland Dodge Ram and came back with another person. This person stated to me "We are not taking your car, we dont have the room". I explained that I called the prior evening and again this morning that I was bringing the car in for return. He stated, "we are not taking it and you have to get it out of here!". I had him look at the vehicle through the window and explained that the registration and plates have already been removed and the insurance has been transferred to my new vehicle. I was on the way to motor vehicles. He then stated, "WELL I HOPE YOU HAVE GOOD PICS OF THE CAR, BECAUSE I CANT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT WHEN YOU LEAVE!". I explained that I did take good pics of the car just minutes before and AUTOVIN completed their inspection and had the pics as well. He then left the building and a short time later the original person came back and I signed and received my receipt for the drop off.
I was told by two of my friends not to go to this dealership because of the lack of customer service (ie. footprints on car door panels and crumbs on the floor after vehicle service). I figured how bad could it be. Well, they were right. I wont be visiting this dealership anymore.

I have had my luxurious mini- van for a week now and I love the way it drives, the interior, the sound system. Austin was a fabulous guy to work with. I changed my mind as I went through the purchase process and he consistently worked with me to find my perfect match!! He was honest, reliable, never pushy, just professional and helpful. Since I live out of state, the dealership accommodated me by providing a loaner vehicle until the purchase was completed, then driving my gorgeous new car to me in the pouring rain. Poor Peter got stuck at NY DMV for 2 hours and almost got struck by lighting putting my new plates on.... Austin met me half way in the Berkshires to sign all of the paperwork once I got my bank's financing, so I would not have to make. Another trip to them.. all of the staff at the dealership were fabulous!!! I can't say enough about Austin - he really worked for me to locate exactly what I wanted.. I will always work with this dealership - They rock!!!!!

The Finance Manager tried to manipulate the sales numbers that were already established with the GSM. He also requested a down payment despite the GSM stating that there would be 0 down payment. By taking a down payment they would be able to manipulate the numbers to have the monthly payment be the same as it was already calculated without. Further I was notified via my credit monitoring providers that my credit was not submitted to Chrysler despite Finance Mgr. stating that's where he submitted it (not true) My experience was that the Slaes rep. was slow and sarcastic at times, Finance Mgr. just wasted a lot of my time, and while I informed the GSM that Chrysler and Dodge did a conference call and verified not only the rates but the promotions per specific VIN number, no resolve was offered aside from stating that corporate and the other dealer that verified the offer were wrong.

This dealer comes across as a respectful and honest dealer but once you sign the papers is when the true colors shine. I got the car delivered to me and once I hit the road for a mere 5 minutes it overheated and had to be towed to the nearest dealership. They did pay for repairs but I had to get reimbursed for a rental car and its been two weeks and no refund check received. Finally after three calls I get told they mail checks at the end of the month. We shall see if I receive it in a couple days. The salesman has called me and when I return calls with negative remarks I get no calls back. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone! I am just happy that I love the Jeep I purchased but will never go back to Bertera and urge you to research reviews before using this dealer. Almost every review you read will have a negative aspect of the ordeal people have gone through!

I purchased my 2009 Wrangle from Milford Chrysler Jeep 10 years ago and, although it was in perfect condition, I had to stop by and see what was new since 2009. I was amazed at the improvements in technology, performance, and creature comforts! The salesman (Jose Temoche) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and resulted in me purchasing a 2019 Wrangler Rubicon. I could not be happier with my decision! The new Wrangler is comfortable and with heated seats and steering wheel (and so many other features) it is unlike any of my previous three Wranglers!
