The dealership refused to honor the GM Educator's... - JCCFP
The dealership refused to honor the GM Educator's Discount when contacted about purchasing a 2021 GMC Canyon. The reason they gave for doing so was Covid changed a lot about the industry. That's total nonsense. Four other dealers on Long Island all honored the discount. They just won't honor it so they can squeeze every last nickel out of a customer. Well, they won't get a penny from me now.

Being that this is a luxury car I expected to be treated like "royalty"...not quite so but better than say at a Chevy one. It felt just the same. The initial friendliness is ok but when things get really testy their customer service skill goes away. Instead of trying to defuse a situation I got a response that pretty much said "go away." I was so angry that I wanted to punch a wall. Every time I go there they try and find things that need to be fixed (commission based sales). They're good for routine items like oil change which a) don't take too much time and b) don't run into trouble. Other kinds of service require lots of time (and money) since their core competency is not doing major repairs. I felt cheap and slimed all over after my visit today. Their treatment of me started with Paul and he did not take ownership of making me, the customer, feel valued. Sure he tried to pass off the complimentary car wash as a "favor" but I dismissed that small gesture to justify the gouging and poor treatment.

We bought our 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible from Saab of Milford. We love it. We always bring our car to Saab of Milford for service. They are always very helpfull. We have had a few minor problems, but they have always fixed them quickly and satisfactorily. In one case they even gave us a complementary loaner car, which was also a convertible! We highly reccommend this dealership.

Misdiagnosed our 9-3 convertible for the 2nd time, and then went on to list 6 other items that needed work for $1,000’s. Took car to non dealer, and they refuted the needs for engine mount repairs, transmission mount repair, alternator replacement ( the list goes on). I am afraid we may have been duped on earlier visits. I cannot recommend Saab of Westport’s for service.
To start, I never had any intentions on buying a Saab,... - dealhunter15
To start, I never had any intentions on buying a Saab, but since it was in the area, I decided to check it out. My experience has been that when you walk into a dealership, there's usually a host/greeter. Well, when I walked in the guy at the front desk spun he chair around to give me his back. Sad part was, he's a salesperson. He finally breaks down to ask what I'm looking for. I tell him that I'd like to see convertible and here's where it goes south.
I went in there about 4:30 pm on Aug. 7, 2010, he brought me to the front of the lot to show me a silver 2010 conv near the sidewalk that looked fifteen years old. Live mildew on the back seat, leaves in the car, stain on the inside of the ragtop, trash in the door pocket and just all-around dirty. It seemed to me that someone had left the top down and either rain or a sprinkler had soaked the car. But at this dealership no one cares to clean it out. I told the lil salesman how disappointed I was with the vehicle's condition and his carefree attitude. He claimed that he told the mgr about the car but he hadn't done anything about it. The salesman claimed that the mgr doesn't care about Saab part of the business, only the VW side.
$44k is a lot of money to me. I don't need you to jump through hopes, but d@mn! At least fake it for me. And dear lazy salesman, Maybe it's worth you taking the initiative and cleaning it yourself. You haven't sold the car yet, now might be a good time to try a different approach.
Don't waste your time looking at the Saab conv near the street and forget about the lil man helping you.
