Bought a 2018 Elantra from Island Hyundai 2 days ago, and it couldn't have been a better experience. We had been in touch with Mike for about a week over the phone talking about competing prices and some out of state tax issues. We went into the dealership on Saturday and found Mike to be a delight to work with; he gave us a great deal and went out of his way to confirm that I did not owe certain taxes. PA - my home state - has different tax rules than NY regarding incentives and rebates that other NY dealers *insisted* that I would have to pay. He was a joy to work with, and even headed out to Tim Horton's to bring me a coffee while I waited for my car to be brought over from the remote lot. :) It was the best experience I've ever had buying a car. I highly, highly recommend them. When I'm ready for my 3rd Hyundai, I'll be back, for sure.
Amazing customer service - PA buyer
After visiting several dealers I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming committee Ken Harris and his colleague. It was a warm welcome oppose to feeling bombarded and overwhelmed. Ken asked the right questions to help me determine what I wanted. He made this an easy no pressure sale. I have him my budget. Surprisingly he didn't deviate away from the budget. Personally that was enough to gain my interest in buying from this dealer. Without hesitation I increased the price range. After the road test we worked on sealing the deal. I expressed my concerns for pot holes. He ensured I drove over a lot of potholes. I would certainly buy another car from him in the near future. I purchased a 2017 Sorrento. It's spacious and comfortable. It's not good in the snow, but that has nothing to do with the dealer. He even bought us dinner. I recommend purchasing from global auto mall

We just leased out third Sonata from Plaza. In this go-round, our sales associate was Kevin Crespo. My wife and I found him to be most helpful and knowledgeable, and would recommend him if you’re looking to buy or lease a Hyundai. He was very familiar with the dealership’s inventory, and was quickly able to locate the car that met our specifications. He was also diligent in keeping us informed with updates when out-of-town weather issues delayed the arrival of our new car. It was then delivered when promised, and he has since followed up with his offer to help with any subsequent questions or problems. His enthusiasm and good humor were most appreciated.
There are two areas of the process that need some serious attention. The first is the back-and-forth between the salesperson and his managers as the terms of the lease are being negotiated. The multiple “back office” discussions that played out while we sat patiently in the showroom seemed to go on forever…and when we finally agreed on the terms of the deal, along came Phase Two -- the meeting with the Finance Department to entertain and weigh some available, optional coverages, and to complete the paperwork (including credit check, insurance documentation and DMV issues).
When we finally left the dealership, we checked our watches and were horrified to discover that we’d been there for more than five hours! There must be a better way. Past experience tells us that this time-warp is probably not unique to Plaza Hyundai -- it seems to go with the territory…but it shouldn’t have to.

I strongly recommend Jose Matos. He is very professional and dedicated. He provides the best customer service, 110%. I was dreaded having to go car shopping but Jose made the whole process very easy. He goes out of his way to ensure that you get what you are looking for. He is very attentive, friendly, and sincere. I never felt like he was pushing me to buy. He paid attention to my needs and what I was looking for in a car, I was able to test drive three cars until I decide which one I wanted. I did not feel rushed at all. He also took the time to review my car functions and apps and road side asstance and all the services they offer. Overall my experience at Hyundai was exceptional due to Jose's hard work. I think he truely cars about giving his clients the best deals. I will be returning to Hyundai just for Jose and his great service.

I have bought 5 vehicles here 3 from Ben and 2 from Allen but the sales manager and others in charge have NOT made any attempt to repair the scratch / cut on the glass in my 2018 Santa fe ultimate SE leased vehicle I am paying big bucks and now they play the wait and we will call you back its been 1 month.. This will be the last time i purchase or lease from them and I will be going to another dealer to buy out my lease.
