Right now I have four Ford vehicles all purchased from Vinny. Over the years ( 25 ?) I lost count of how many Ford's I have purchases from Vinny. Cousin Vinny is the best ! No relation but I feel like he's family. Its such a pleasure dealing withShultz Ford whether it be sales, service or parts.

After many visits to our local dealerships to find the truck we wanted for our farm and family, we then started looking for a dealer that had answers to all our questions. Many calls and "I'll get back to you regarding that" conversations with various salespeople later, we called Sunshine ( a bit of a drive for us) and asked for a salesperson that knew trucks, we were quickly transferred to Randy - if there was a question we had, he had an answer, an accurate answer. Off to Newburgh we went ..... We went over all the options we were looking for, the accessories we thought we might enjoy best, most important though, the truck we were hoping to purchase and have for many years (from what we saw on the Ford website). Of course our timing was ever so slightly off and the truck had been sold.... That did not at all stop our guy from tracking down another one. Between emails, texts and phone calls to be sure this was what we wanted he got our truck - At first glance the dealership itself was not what we had seen thus far in our immediate area, and it seemed as if it were undergoing some rather large renovations, fine with us, we live on a farm and would rather have great service than fancy surroundings. Being that we had our toddler with us we were a bit hesitant to spend much time at the dealership, that was quickly taken care of as the other employees came over to us and played trucks with our little man as we hammered Randy with our lists and concerns - this is not something we could have ever forseen - Thank You All !!
All done and said, we are home with our new truck, happy toddler and hopefully years worth of a great relationship with this dealer.

My girlfriend and I made a deal over the phone with the wonderful sales person, Sean. There was several issues but we had made it work. After planning a day to go, we finally got there and had an issue with the insurance card. The finance "manager" Aaron walked out while we were getting ready to test drive the vehicle and sternly said to us that "we have a problem, and the insurance is not going to work. He was rude and unprofessional from the start. My girlfriend got the insurance taken care of and we signed papers. Upon leaving, the tire pressure light came on showing the front tire was 10 pounds lower then it should be. And the problems begin..... We immediately turn around and make them aware of the problem. They filled our tire and we left. Overnight the tire lost 20 pounds of air. My girlfriend called the next day to make them aware per my request and spoke to Aaron. I am appalled and extremely furious how Aaron took care of the situation. He was extremely rude to my girlfriend and completely unprofessional, stating "she was getting on his last nerve and had other things to move on and take care of", "if we don't want the truck to bring it back. Aaron also did not want to put in writing that we would be reimbursed for the tire fix that we just spent 35K on a truck with ZERO negotiation done by the dealer. I will not recommend a single person to this dealer, not only from the problem I immediately dealt with but because of the finance man. Upon speaking to some people in the Middletown area, this dealer does not have a good reputation - Had I known this, I would of never dealt with them. Very poor customer service especially the way my girlfriend was treated after try to get help fixing a vehicle we just bought less then 24 hours ago.

Was interested in an eco sport and dealt with PJ Flattery. Didn’t address my needs or concerns when inquiring about the vehicle. Seemed like he wasn’t paying attention and that he wasn’t looking out for my best interests.
Left and wound up buying at Salerno Ford a week later which was a much better experience.

Schultz Ford of West Haverstraw New York- If you are looking for a Ford this is the place to go. This dealer brought me back to a place 30+ years ago, when your local car dealer actually knew your name and actually cared about repeat business. Yes, if you’re into the high pressure chaotic wall street trading floor zoo- then this is NOT the place for you.
Do your homework online first and take a look at what they have in stock. Keep in mind they have another store in Nanuet NY and they can get you just about any Ford vehicle to your liking. When I arrived, I was greeted by Rose who did a great job making me feel right at home. They had the car I was interested in ready and waiting in the back. Clyde brought the car I was to test drive around and showed me the highlights of the car.
After a nice test drive up scenic route 9w I returned to the showroom. Due to my situation with the VW "Dieselgate" class action lawsuit I was unable to negotiate a deal then and there. I met with Brian the sales manager who reviewed the financials of the vehicle that I was interested in. We stayed in touch over the next couple of weeks as to the status of the buyback of my vehicle from VW. The day they took my VW back I called over to Brian and we worked out the final deal over the phone (Luckily the car I test drove was still available). Again, as I said "no pressure" at all...
I filled out the financial information online and was pre-approved within minutes. Clyde called my insurance company and added the car to my policy. All I needed to do was sign the papers. Due to a scheduling conflict, we needed to take the car that day. Because we arrived after service hours Brian the Sales Manager was actually washing my car in the service bay. I was amazed by the Roll your sleeves up attitude here! You would never get this from a Prima-Donna NJ dealer. I've never experienced service like this at any dealer before. We live an hour away in New Jersey (The home of high pressure sleazy car dealers!) We could have shopped the "Auto Malls" locally but we would never have had the level of customer service that we experienced at Schultz Ford of West Haverstraw.
This dealer truly goes out of their way to earn your business. What a great buying experience! We will be back for our next Ford. I’m not sure when that’ll be, our Expedition has over 130k miles on it and is still running strong (Knock on wood!) Ford has come a long way in building quality products.
