I Do Not give positive reviews to companies,Sales Reps nor Service reps, I do not trust. Anyone can Google 2010-2011 Chevrolet Equinox and hear the stories from the people who bought this particular product from any Chevy Dealer. The amount of recalls and faulty parts warnings that I've had to address, is amazing. Should never had left the assembly line. You'll be hard pressed to find an honest GM employee that will tell you the truth. Every time I go to Spurr Chevrolet for a recall fix, I get lied to

I purchased an XT5 in OCt, 2016. I have a love/hate relationship with the vehicle, but that discussion is out of scope for here. My home is in Buffalo, NY around the corner from a Cadillac only dealer with whom I first went to shop at. In short, I did not not have best experience with a given salesman who is no longer there. He was professional in many ways, but that's another story. I needed to buy an in stock vehicle and on a late Friday afternoon visited Basil Cadillac in Orchard Park, NY. They had a well orgainized display of many XT5s, but I cannot recall if it was the color or given options I wanted that wasn't available. Later that night I went online and found the vehicle I wanted at Basil, Fredonia.
Next AM i contacted a sales person and received an excellent trade-in (subject to inspection) and a very competitive price. By 6:00 that night I drove home in my new car.
It is not convenient for me to travel 60 miles just to get my car serviced under warranty, and the owners have not honored my request to relocate their business. However, while I have gone to the local dealer for service (always excellent), I usually make the trip to Fredonia because of the personal service and attention I have received, and walk away 99% satisfied. Why not 100%? I am a tough one.
It's life. Look up reviews for any hi-end product, restaurant, etc., and there will always be someone who has had a bad experience to counter the many good ones. Stuff happens. I am very appreciative of the attention and service I have received from Busti the service manager, as well as from Jason in sales and Marge, an owner.
I selected "Buick" because Cadillac was not an option. Nor were the employees I worked with.

Had. 9:30am APPOINTMENT on 4/24/18 to have new tires mounted and installed and wheel alignment.
Tires were ordered 4/23/18. Arrived at service center ahead of appointment and advised service we would be waiting. At 12.15 pm inquired why the delay. Were told they would find out. Apparently there was a LONG line of tire work orders and they were working on our alignment now. Would be ready soon. My vehicle was done at 1:10 pm.
Question: How many vehicles could possibly before me when my appt was for 9:30 am?
What does an Appointment mean?
What is a reasonable time frame for tire mounting, installation, and wheel alignment?

I've only had the caddy srx for a free months and I've already had to drive 80 plus miles three going on four times to get a simple tire replacement job. Three times later and many hours waiting in their lobby and now I have to go back again just to do something I could do myself if I had the right tools. It's a shame how poorly they treat their customers after they get them to sign the contract.
Poor Customer Service - Megcam
Brought 2015 Chevy Malibu on lease from dealership in for an oil change. They also did a tire rotation and the car sat home until the next morning when my passenger side front tire was almost flat. I brought it back and was told there was a piece of metal or screw in the sidewall that was not repairable and had to be replaced. That same tire had no issues until I brought the car in for service. When I told the technician who called me to say the car was done the answer I got was "If we looked over everything on every single car we would never get anything done around here". I think that is a terrible thing to say to a customer and any way you look at it they let a potential dangerous issue leave their dealership. I know things happen but teach your employees to to talk to people or get better training before you are able to call someone. It's a shame that the terrible Service Dept is going to cost the Sales Dept business. Don't EVER underestimate the power of the consumer as I will make it my mission to advise people on where to find good customer service. You might say it's HUGE.
Beware: Unethical Service Department - Jane
Went to Bokmans alone (female), seeking a simple front-end alignment. They stated I needed a new steering rack because mine was leaking badly. I was told the repair would cost $1,400.00 and I was informed that they couldn't do the alignment because of needing this part replaced first. I was charged $21.55 for their 'evaluation.' I immediately took my vehicle to an independent NY State Certified mechanic whom put my vehicle up on the rack and invited me to look at car's rack and pinnion assembly. He stated that the steering rack WASN'T leaking badly and he discovered that my plastic 'boot' (part of this assembly) showed evidence of THREE intentional cuts. He stated that these cuts were deliberate, as they are NOT possible from normal 'wear and tear' of this particular part!! Therefore, Bokman: did not give me my requested front-end alignment, they fabricated a very expensive required repair ($1,400), and there's strong evidence that their 'repair' technician intentionally damaged my vehicle in an attempt to make his 'recommendation' more believable.
I will NEVER: recommend this dealership nor their service department to anyone. Nor will I ever buy another vehicle from them.
