We took our daughter for her first (used) car buying experience. After visiting several other dealerships, she was overwhelmed by the pushiness of several other salesmen. We went to Frederick Motor looking for a specific care and were met in the lot by Dave. What I great guy! He was kind and attentive, without any pushiness at all. He talked to our daughter about what she was looking for in a vehicle, and he listened to her! Several others hadn't given her this respect. I cannot that Dave enough. I've bought many cars over the years, and this by far was one of the easiest, most relaxed, and POSITIVE experiences. Thank you Dave!

I've seen the advertisement for the EcoSport and went online to get more details on it. I live in SW Virginia and because I've been doing business with Family Ford for about 7 years, While visiting my family in Carlisle I called to see if Family Ford had one on their property. At that time they did not but were anticipating getting one in and would call me when it arrived. Terry, who has been my salesman each time I wanted to get another car, called me when it came in and because I was still in PA, I went to test drive it and get some questions answered. I wanted to see if they could help get another car while living in VA. and Terry was able to get the job done as far as getting VA tags and all the paperwork for VA, which required extra work on his part. Way to go Terry!
I also want to say the Service Department has been outstanding throughout the years on anything my cars have ever needed and answered all questions or concerns I've ever had.
Everyone at Family Ford has been helpful, friendly and go the extra mile. They make you feel like family!

Being 2 hrs. from the dealership that was important to me, not to have 9 dealers calling me about a test drive. Once I got to the dealership, the paperwork was in order, everyone was down to earth, not pushy about anything. Arlin and Len were just great as any question was answered right away. Felt like family there.

Treated as if I were ignorant to Auto sales and vehicle worth. Very slow to make good on promises. They will definitely tell you what you want to hear to get the sale. I've dealt with many dealerships and rank Hoffman's on the lower end. Be encouraged, there are dealers out there that care more about the customer than the bottom line!

After researching the vehicle we wanted and prices for weeks (& sending out information out to various dealerships), we visited a dealership closer to us that had the exact Explorer we wanted. We ended up leaving unsatisfied with the customer service we received and searched again after we left, for a similar Explorer. That search brought us to Caleb with Apple Ford, he assured us that if we made the drive there they would give us the best numbers possible. We decided to hope for the best and make the trip- Caleb had the car ready out front, they had already started working on a deal for us, and ended up giving us better numbers than we expected! They beat any other dealerships numbers that we spoke with, Caleb was so great to work with from the start, Jackie was quick and efficient, and they had us out in record timing (per our request). We had such a great feeling after we left and are still very happy with the experience we had at Apple Ford - we will be back!

A lot of dealerships let you drive the car for a few days and if you don't like it you can bring it back. Bob Ruth Ford does not have this policy.

Took company truck in March 14, 2018 for recall work. Instead the service technician broke door latch during recall work. Told me they’d call me when replacement part came in but until then I’d have to wind down my window to get out of my truck. Gee thanks right. Wouldn’t have been a big time if would’ve been taken care of at end of March like they told me. After calling several times with same answer-“ I told you we’d call when parts came in”. I’m in awe now that 50 days later a 5 star so called company hasn’t resolved this issue. My truck worked fine before going there.

A few weeks back I took my eight month old Mustang with only 13k miles on it into Huston Ford of Huntingdon, PA to get my fuel filler door fixed as it had been very loose ever since I bought the car brand new. I scheduled an appointment, dropped the car off, and picked it up later the same day and when I checked the door to confirm that it was tight, all seemed well. However, two weeks ago I was at Cars and Coffee at the Swigart Museum and was spray detailing the car when I noticed that right next to the fuel door where the hinge folds back behind the sheet metal for the quarter panel, there are two dings in the metal, one protruding outward and one slightly pushed in just under the other. Yesterday was my first day off I had since I discovered the damage so I took the car to Huston Ford of Huntingdon, PA and showed the damage to the service writer. He asked me to wait in the waiting room while he looked further into the situation so I sat there for around fifteen minutes until he finally came back out. He then proceeds to tell me that there is absolutely no way that they could be responsible for the damage and that they would not be fixing my vehicle. I explained that there was no damage whatsoever to the car before I took it in for them to fix it under factory warranty and that the hinge to the fuel door that they replaced is directly behind the damaged sheet metal. He stuck to his story that there was no way that they are taking responsibility. So then I called Ford Motor Company. They said that since the dealer is privately owned that I would have to go through their management in order to resolve this and that Ford would not be able to do anything about my situation. So I went back and requested to speak to the general manager who also happens to be the owner of the dealer, however, he was not there at the time so the receptionist took my name and number and said she would have him give me a call. So this morning I received a call from the owner of the dealer and he informed me that he had spoken with his head technician and agreed that they are NOT responsible for the damage that was so clearly caused by the work that they performed. SO basically, I took my $35,000 vehicle there to be repaired and in turn left with more (expensive) damage than I brought it in with and the dealer basically gave me the big "screw you." I have bought 3 Ford vehicles over the last four years and if this is how I am going to be treated as a customer, this will be my last. To anybody here in the Mount Union or Huntingdon area, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HUSTON FORD. YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT.
