I went the extra mile and had an extraordinary experience! - Honda lover
First of all, I am from Pennsylvania and we have been a Honda family for 30 years. Until last winter when my mirrors and wipers froze in a snowstorm and as a nurse, I had to get to work. Friends who had an Outback recommended it to me so I knew what I wanted. What I didn't expect was the problems with getting the best price on this car in Pa. With my program at work I was matched to 3 dealerships, 2 in Pa, and Matt Slap in Delaware. The first dealership had no correct information on the functioning of the car, the second told me that the Delaware dealership was promising a price that would never happen.
But in the middle of this, Mary Thompson called me from Matt Slap. What an angel! She educated me in all aspects of financing and promised a fast track experience. We talked daily for about a week.
When we arrived last Saturday, we were immediately able to test drive the car while our two trade in Honda's were appraised. Glenn Russell met us at the door and if I thought Mary was good, he was just as informative. My husband was impressed that even though we had test drove once before,, he learned so much more about the car from Glenn who was an expert.
Buying a car for me is never a fun day, but we had a wonderful time at this dealership. Then drove it home in the pouring rain and I couldn't be happier.
What a car! What a dealership! Thank you Mary and Glenn for a great experience and even better car! And most importantly, thanks for the absolute best price in at least 2 states!

Great buying experience! - rblum
We met Melissa when we looked at Subarus for my husband. We ended up not getting one then, but I was impressed enough with her style - not pushy at all - that I came back to her to get a Subaru for myself later. The entire staff at this dealership is respectful, polite, friendly, and no one pushes you. I will definitely remain a loyal customer.

This was my second Subaru purchase from Apple Subaru. - Sid1114
Purchasing my new Subaru was a pleasant and painless experience. This was the second Subaru we've purchased at Apple Subaru and both were very easy (although 16 years apart). Everybody we dealt with was very friendly and helpful.

Jo was honest and respectful of my time. I test drove a new Subaru and when I got back, he gave me the best price for my old Subaru. They found me the exact Outback that I wanted. No waiting around for hours.
Simply Spectacular...this place is worth checking out - getSchwifty
My experiences at Hunt Valley Subaru have been truly stellar. Both the process of purchasing a car there, and the after-sales support have been first class.
In late May I purchased a WRX STI from Banchi. I was looking for a completely base model STI because that was what was in my price range. Hunt Valley had several STIs in stock, but none of them were base models (all had the upgraded Recaro seat package, push-button start, short shift kit, and various other upgrades, so we’re taking about $3,500+ in options over the base STI.) I test drove one, I really liked it, I researched what the TrueCar fair market price was and it simply was not in my price range. I expected at this point to go to another dealership since I could not afford what they had. However, Banchi came back with two offers I did not expect. First, she discounted this upgraded vehicle almost as low as the fair market price of a totally base model. Plus, she also offered me about $2,500 more for my trade-in than I expected. All of a sudden, I could afford this car – so I was pretty happy.
That night I priced out similar cars at other dealerships and no one else came even remotely close to Hunt Valley’s offer. So I purchased the WRX STI from Banchi the next morning. I had a late-morning meeting that I was worried I was going to miss. Banchi committed to having the entire sale wrapped up by a set time. She delivered on this commitment – the sale and financing process was quick, easy, and painless, and I was out ahead of schedule. The process of going to the dealership, them casually offering a test drive, and aggressively discounting their pricing without being aggressive towards me made this a very positive experience. Hunt Valley Subaru also gets extra points for a pricing structure that I understood – the price they quoted me was the actual price I paid. Again, this was really nice as it saved me time and prevented unnecessary stress.
About a week and a half after purchasing the car, I finally got around to fully detailing it. Upon doing this, I noticed that one of the tail lights had a spider web crack in it that was hard to see unless you were up-close in bright light and the car was super clean. The point in me noting that is because I could not say with certainty whether or not this happened after I purchased the vehicle…it may have been like that before I bought it, or it could have happened in a parking lot since I purchased the car – there is no way to say with certainty because it was so easy to miss. I showed this to Banchi, who then showed it to the head of the service department. I expected to be told, “hey, you purchased the car, you signed off on the condition, so this is your problem,” because at this point Hunt Valley Subaru had absolutely zero obligation to do a thing. But Hunt Valley Subaru went the extra mile. They told me that they could not say with certainty either when this happened, and that they were going to replace the tail light free of charge for me. They followed through and did exactly that. They did not have to, but they did, and actions like this tells me Hunt Valley Subaru wants my business and genuinely cares about me both when I buy a car and after I purchase it. This again saved me time and money, and prevented unnecessary stress.
Building upon that further, the service department waiting facilities are extremely nice, and the service department staff have been great to work with. Several people, including the service manager, Eric, took substantial time out of their day for me to bombard them with a boat load of questions regarding the care of the STI’s EJ257 engine. For those considering a WRX/STI/BRZ, Hunt Valley Subaru service is very friendly towards those who use their cars for track days, and is friendly regarding the use of premium oil for the EJ engine that provides superior shear stability than the OEM Subaru oil (equating to superior bearing protection) (some other dealerships are not nearly as friendly about these things.)
Do I recommend Hunt Valley Subaru? With enthusiasm. This was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve purchased quite a few cars. Banchi was absolutely awesome. If you are considering a Subaru, it’s worth dropping by to price a car and value a trade-in.
I give them an outstanding rating in sales and customer serv - Birds000

Excellent Sales Experience - Jeff Cole
If you are looking for an excellent sales experience then you need to go to Roberts Subaru! My entire experience from beginning to end was enjoyable. I worked with Alex Todd, who was both professional and respectful. He took the time to make me feel like a valued customer whether it was at the dealership, over the phone or through email and text. You don't meet many sales reps with this level of attentiveness. While the papers were being finalized Alex reviewed all the features on my new Impreza Sport in great detail. This added a lot of value to my buying experience. In addition to Alex I also worked with Ed and Greg. Both of them were pleasant and helpful. This was my first Subaru and would only consider Roberts Subaru for the next one.
Best Subaru Dealer - Fred T.

Car Buying Experience - SubaruForesterdriver
My wife and I are longtime customers (since 2013). In May 2018, we decided to trade in our Subaru Forester due to engine problems caused by the service technicians at Wilkins Subaru. We got our vehicle appraised beforehand at Carmax and received a 9500 dollar trade in value. After speaking with Joe Landi, he explained that the vehicle trade in was worth 8100. We did not expect such sleazy car salesman like tactics from Wilkins. We have been customers since 2013, and also bought a new Crosstrek in 2016 and expected a fair value. The employees at Wilkins and especially Joe Landi do not care about long term customer loyalty or satisfaction. The manager Allison also called my phone over our lunch break to harass us about coming back to purchase the vehicle. Allison explained that a Mr. or Mrs. Wilkins' brother wanted to purchase the car but that they would hold it for us. These dishonest tactics have degraded all trust and loyalty. I will never go back to Wilkins due to poor service on our vehicles, terrible car buying experience, and dishonest negotiations and tactics.
Even GM's mailbox is full so I can't leave a message - SO DISSAPPOINTED
I am currently a GM of a Chevy store. I am attempting to help my family buy an Outback from you all. 17mins later on hold with a snappy receptionist. To then get "full mailbox" of GM!!!
Wow! Sad you all don't care!

I put down a $250 deposit on a new Impreza 10/14/15. Your people sold it to someone else 10/17. You didn't finalize your financing package offer until 10/16. That same day 10/16 I pursued moving funds out of an IRA for a down payment of $6600. Told your salesman I would not write a check for $6600 that was not there in my checking account. That is illegal to begin with. Your sales manager demanded I take the deal Friday. What a way to do business. Electronic funds transfer was initiated Friday to be completed 10/19. I informed your salesman of the transfer completion Monday.
I was also advised to pursue bank financing as a backup. That I did through Chesapeake Bank of Maryland. I don't do mobile banking and a transfer from an IRA cannot be transacted by phone. I was advised of sale of the vehicle after showing it to my wife and daughter. I acted in good faith but I don't find a similar response on your end. Mike is a great salesman demonstrating supreme professionalism. Mike said he would find another car. I can't believe this a standard practice when doing business with the public.
I await your response.
