We leased a new Mini at the beginning of July and we still have not received our permanent registration and license plates despite assurances from management and sales that their documentation department was capable of completing the paperwork for all 50 states, and despite having paid in advance for sales taxes and an additional fee covering the processing of the new title and registration. I have been calling multiple times every week to resolve the issue and the manager, Tim Woods, has not even bothered to return a single one of my calls. While the sales team has always been courteous and as helpful as they can be, the tag and title department and management team clearly do not care about their customers' experiences post-purchasing/leasing a car.

My experience with Passport Mini of Alexandria was the absolute best. My salesman and finance lady, Vinnie and Paula were great. They made me feel like part of the team. Also the cashier at this location was great, unfortunately I can’t remember her name but she was very sweet. I had a few issues but Vinnie and Paula made it so those issues were painless and easy to overlook. This a 5 star car buying experience. Please ask for Vinnie if you’re looking for a Mini in Alexandria.

This place used to be good but it has gone downhill the past 2 years.
I've leased 2 Minis with them. I should have learned my lesson the first time.
First, they will try to get money from you at all costs for tires. They make it sound like Mini tires are the worst and need to be changed every year. Every time I got a flat I got the same tired somewhere else by half the price. The system they use when you get a speeding camera ticket is a nightmare!! During my first lease, I would get random pictures of other BMW's on my address. I had to call the MVA because Mini/BMW had no clue how to fix it. This last time Mini did not send me any of my tickets, they paid for them and charged me 600$ at the end of the lease. If you are leasing a car that has mileages in them make sure that it does not go past the 30,000 miles because you will have to pay for oil changes and services. WHile getting the car they will say you do not need to worry about that for the 3 years but what they mean is the car has a 30,000 miles warranty, has nothing to do with your lease. My second lease started with 7k miles and on my last year I took it with 31k mile. They wanted to charge me 400$ for service.
Maybe management changed? this place used to be good.
