Best Buying Experience We Have Ever Had! - sandyclogan
This was by far our Best Buying Experience. This dealership not only had a family atmosphere but everyone was courteous, helpful and friendly. Our sales person, Katie Reid, was a breath of fresh air. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in every way. It was a pleasure working with her. Our finance person, Greg Goode, made the signing of the paperwork a delight. He was quick to answer any and all questions that we had. Thankful for the positive experience. We found this dealership to be honest, customer friendly and a place of integrity. We felt no pressure from anyone to make this purchase. That was a first for us!
I don't recommend buying anything from Dale Earnhardt... - Chad
I don't recommend buying anything from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. I was just trying to negotiate a truck over the phone and by text with their Salesman Chris. They have one price and are not willing to negotiate any further. This is the first dealership I've ever ran across that does not negotiate prices.
Bait & Switch Scam - Ripped off
Champion sent me multiple flyers promising a deal on an oil change and tire rotation and safety inspection at a certain price but when I went in to get it done the price was different because they add on bogus charges for shop supplies and such when they're done. What a racket.
I have bought two brand new Chevy pickups from them but I won't be buying anymore vehicles there and I certainly won't be falling for anymore of their service scams either, I can guarantee you that.
Terrible - Robert
Buyer Beware... I have had nothing but trouble from day one. I will never do business with this dealership again, and I hope I can prevent you from experiencing the headache I had, and continue to have. I was talked into buying a car that I did not really want (I admit fault for that). I had an issue with the car the same week I bought it and was told that I would have to pay for it. After some arguing, they agreed to pay for it... One star for that. I then came to my senses and decided to sell the car back only 2 months later(less that 6k miles) and they offered me almost 5k less than what I paid... I've never seen a used car depreciate that fast... The car was in immaculate condition when I bought it, and it is in immaculate condition now. Absolutely ridiculous. Staff are sly and misleading as well...

Jesus was extremely kind and answered me even on a Sunday with questions about my new car. He’s an honest guy and we were grateful to purchase a car from him!
Spent 30k on a 3 year old Ford expedition. First day I... - Dylan Divito
Spent 30k on a 3 year old Ford expedition. First day I heard humming so brought it to my mechanic. I was surprised when he told me it needed a new rear end due to water getting inside and overheating. Brought it back to everett. The next day they said it was fixed. All they did was change the fluid. Still humming. Still bad.
So after arguing with them and driving then in the truck they say that NOW they can hear it, and would look at it. Next day they call and tell me it needs a rear end. OK. They say they will pay half. Was not happy at all. They agreed to pay 3/4. Ok. Still not happy but It hurts alot less. Waiting 2 weeks for rear end to arrive, I dropped off the truck, 2 days later they are done. When I pick it up, drive home, look underneath..
I see my old rear end Still under the truck. After agreeing to replace it, they decided to rebuild it instead and charged me the same price I was told for the full rear end replacement.

A irresponsible dealer only to get your money - felixlee
Purchased a used 2011 Ford Explorer from this dealer which is the worst car buying experience I ever had. Found rear brake pads completely worn out after drove back home. Then the battery died that night when I played with the radio. It is only a start. Got the brake pads and battery fixed then found the GPS is not functioning. Took this car to local Ford dealer to get the GPS fixed found all recalls of this car is still not fixed. In addition, the dealer also found the master cylinder and brake booster problems. To fix the master cylinder and booster would cost more than $900. I realized Boyd sold me a Lemon. I called Boyd and talked to Derik who is seemed like their used car sales supervisor. He at beginning sounded understandable and promised me to talk to the owner to see maybe they can help me somehow. Later on I knew this is a lie. Derik didn’t ever answer my calls and reply my message. Now, after I paid the full price of this car, I have to spend another $150 for replacing brake pad, $120 for replacing battery and $930 to fix the master cylinder and brake booster. This is another $1200 I have to pay right after I drove back the car from Boyd. This is not done. New issue arose when I went to DMV to get the car title transferred. On one section requires Buyer Signature is not signed and I have to send the title back to Boyd again to have them signed which will waste me another week and my temporary license is about to expired. Please be aware of this dealer! They are extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. They would let their customer drove away a car with completely worn out rear brake.
I will first never purchase another Ford’s car. I will also try my best to share my car buying experience from Boyd to as much people as I can.
Supreme deception - happycamper
Bought Used Torrent, cash deal asked several times if any known defects. Over and OVer how great the car was. Allowed short test drive seemed ok. On way home noticed the engine temp gauge didn't work. Took car right back was told it must be sensor bring in on Friday and we will fix. Well 3 hours after leaving car they call not sensor and told to call back Monday. Called Monday told not sensor but entire cluster, and they would give me a break and fix for $750.00 it was not a safety issue. They then said it went out on the way home...When I called and asked the part number to have it fixed outside dealership they refused to give it to me. My mechanic fixed it for less than $400 parts, progam and all...If you consider buying a car from Grindstaff take it to an independent mechanic and have it checked out because they DON'T
Great Experience - Chelsea Loftis
I purchased a Toyota Corolla. From the time I stepped through the door of Jim Cook's I felt right at home with their welcoming atmosphere. The sales staff were helpful and proficient. Everything went smoothly with the sale and I love my new car. I would highly recommend them!
All the work that Mack Brown did on my car wound up... - jackwilkin
All the work that Mack Brown did on my car wound up having workmanship problems, which were in some cases documented by other dealers and mechanics. The first work I had them do was replace the fuel pump. They replaced the fuel pump and supposedly cleaned out the gas tank as I instructed them. We kept having strange problems with the car cutting out as if losing fuel. We took it back several times but could not get them to fix it. The last time we took it up it sat for a month. When I called for a status he indicated that he had not had time to work on it. I left it there so he would have more time, and after two months they called me up asking what I wanted them to do with the car, to which I replied “Fix the car.” We went up to find the tires flat and the battery dead in the parking lot – these people did not look at this car for three months! I finally had someone else work on it and they took the gas tank off and found it full of rust and dirt and it was clogging the fuel pump filter. Apparently the service people did not clean out the fuel tank when they replaced the pump. We replaced the tank and fuel pump and the car runs fine.
In another case I had them replace the transmission. I took the car to another dealer to see why the car shifted funny and they found that Mack Brown had installed the wrong screws in the transmission case and had stripped the metal holes in the case. They had also left off a bracket that helps hold the transmission in place. I paid for it to be fixed and never was compensated by Mack Brown.
