Great place to purchase a car from. Gary and Bill was great to me and my family. I was introduced to COOk MOTOR COMPANY by my brother. I have purchased two vehicles from C.M.C, and will definitely be back for future purchases. Will recommend to family, friends, and co-workers.

Larry and Team were outstanding to work with. Very responsive and trustworthy. This was a long distance purchase and they provided accurate information so we could make informed decisions. From assisting with transport arrangements to assuring the condition of the vehicle was as advertised they were always straight forward and honest. Highly recommend Buyer's Choice and would purchase another vehicle from them if the right one comes along.

We found a nice car for a fair price at Stokes Used Car Center. They were very helpful and showed us several cars in our price range.
BUYERS BEWARE! Deceptive Practices - ap
This dealer charged me sales tax when I made a purchase from out of state, claiming I would receive credit from tax assessor in Texas for the amount of tax paid - that is, I will only have to pay the difference upon registration. Dallas County Tax assessor refused credit stating I was misled. Made numerous attempts to rectify with dealer and just getting passed around... They basically stole $500 from me...
Horrible experience - Kamron16
I see when I read reviews how wonderful Tish is wish i dealt with her and not Becky maybe she would have been honest about what was going on but you know anything for a buck. They did the same thing to my dude I read on another review put you in a vehicle and let you take it for almost 2 weeks and then get a call from the dealer that he was not approve for the loan and he need to bring the vehicle back lol really who puts someone in a vehicle that has not been approved through a bank. Please be careful with these guys no one told us this nor was it in the paperwork.I should have read the reviews before I went back.

Buyer Beware - kingbrookie
I decided for my review of Automaxx of Summerville that I'd write my review as a chronological timeline review of my experience there.
3/28/2018 - "Had a wonderful experience buying a car from Ed Y. at Automax." *Note that Ed had me write this Google review as he stood there watching after we decided to purchase a car he showed us. This made me feel pressured and I did not like it. I have deleted this Google review above since and created this review instead.
3/29/2018 - Got a call that the car was ready to be picked up. After getting there we were told that the car wasn't quite ready; it still needed to be detailed and would be ready the next day.
3/30/2018 - At 11:30 was told that the car was now ready to be picked up. I was very disappointed because the tank was empty; they had not put any gas in the new used car. There were no floor mats in the car's front; I would need to buy some. The key fob wasn't working, there was no battery in it. I put a new battery in the key fob and it still did not work. The car's battery was died in our driveway, so we had to jump it off. We noticed the date on the battery in the car was from 2013. The detailing was horrible. We found trash inside the car's back row. They vacuumed the front seats, but that was it. The outside was not very clean either; it looked as if they just sprayed it off. We called Ed who agreed to fix the battery in the car. Once we drove up to the dealership Ed met us and directed us to the garage, then he disappeared and was not heard from again. The service manager replaced the car's battery. He asks (accuses) if we took apart the key which I replied that it wasn't working so I opened it to find no battery and that although I replaced the battery but it still did not work. He says that the people in the shop and detailer said the remote worked just fine before we picked up the car. How? It did not have a battery! He tells us there isn't anything he can do about the key and will have to wait until Monday. 10 minutes after we left the TPS (tire pressure) light comes on.
4/2/2018 - It's Monday and I haven't heard back about the key fob from the dealer; so I give them a call. I got the service manager on the phone and he was like "oh yeah I was suppose to do that. Let me check with Key Harbor and get back with you".
4/3/2018 - This morning at 8:15AM the service manager called back to let me know that he is going to pass my information to a 3rd party to make a key fob.
4/4/2018 - I had to call the 3rd party key maker about making a key; as she had not heard from dealer.
4/5/2018 - Went Key Harbor to get a new key made. The key was missing the battery harness and was fixed quickly. I went ahead and told them to make a new key at Automaxx's expense and I paid her for the replacing the battery harness in the existing key. I figured that after all the wasted time that Automaxx owed us a new spare key for the car we purchased.
I will conclude this review of Automaxx here since now the only thing we are waiting on is the tag to come in and we'll have to go back to Automaxx to pick that up. I'll also go back for the 2 oil changes that were included with the car and heaven forbid if anything happens to the car mechanically and I have to take it back during the 3 month / 3000 mile warranty.
While Automax did stick up to their end of getting everything resolved I don't see myself buying my next vehicle there; and I pray that nothing happens to the car I purchased for at least the next 60 months of payments.
Outstanding dealer experience - Marxdspot
The owner was very professional and knowledgeable on the Subaru he sold. His price stands firm due to the fact that he buys quality cars with no overhead needed. I would definitely recommend his business to any car buyer that is in market for a Subaru. His professionalism out beat Subaru of Charleston any day. And Tyler the mechanic was able to provide great knowledge on Subaru background as well
Complete lack of integrity - zach
SHADY SHADY SHADY!!! I cannot recall the last time I have worked with a group of people lacking integrity like those at Vehicle's Direct. I found a vehicle on their website and everything looked fine. I talked with Lydia and Deangelo, who both told me specifically that the body/paint were in great condition and the car was mechanically solid. I went through with all of the paperwork and asked again if the car was in good condition before sending someone here from Michigan to get the car. Upon arrival, it was clear that they had done a shoddy job of repairing some paint work on the right front fender of the vehicle. I spoke with both sales managers, who both said that it wasn't their fault that the car wasn't as previously described and they were unwilling to move on the price, which was full asking price. I decided to proceed with the transaction, against my better judgement, since I had already spent $800 to fly someone there to get the car. By the time the car made it back, the rear differential was grinding and whining so loud that you could not even have a conversation in the car. So the car went to a repair shop where the repair was quoted at $7400 to replace the rear differential. While in the shop, they spun the wheels(which had been very cheaply refinished to give a good appearance) and 3 out of 4 wheels were bent so bad that they could not be repaired.... Another $4000 for replacement wheels. There were multiple areas in the bodywork/paint that had been cheaply repaired just to get the car off the lot. All said and done, I was told by multiple sales people and sales managers that the car was in good working order and aesthetically good condition, and I received a car that needed almost $14,000 in repairs just to get it in working order and on the road. I have called and left multiple messages for the General Manager, Brad, with not a single return call. I would avoid this dealership at all costs. If it were an option to give a review of zero stars, I would. They definitely did not earn the one star that I am required to give.

Odometer rollback - John
They buy cars from auction and rollback the odometers. I bought a truck from them they said had 136k on it went to trade it in and another dealer told me it has 260k on it. 14k for a truck that isn't worth 4k.
HORRIBLE - lillybest22

I bought a $60k car from him and week later had to have... - powlette
I bought a $60k car from him and week later had to have the engine removed because of a problem he knew or should have known about.
The problems started immediately. Driving it home, the car popped out of 2nd gear while decelerating a couple times getting on and off the highway. I didn't think much of it at the time, but my mechanic immediately diagnosed it as damaged synchros for 2nd gear. In total, I paid about $6500 to have this problem fixed. Why didn't I use the fantastic warranty that came with the car you ask? Because the warranty company, Ultimate Warranty Corporation was out of business! The warranty that "came" with the car was useless.
And the reason I would never buy a car from Mario at Encore Exotics is this work order describing the problem that was in the car. So much for his "meticulous inspection". In the very car he claims had "no known defects", there was a work order from 6 weeks prior describing the transmission problem.
