WOW, and did I say WOW---In the military we called it about face, in less fortuitous events to save lives, we may call it a retreat. Some may say I don't believe in reversing a decision/statement. However, it is a unbalanced/unsymmetrical vehicle that does not have a reverse gear. Reverse is there for a reason, and having said that, I want to amend/update my review a few days ago that stated I was disparaged with Crown Ford Sales Dept. Yes, at that time I was very emotional, and apprehensive, however the General Manager has reached out to me to repair our association. I am now not only forgiven, and forgiven for my negative emotional response, but feel that by showing this benevolent and generous disposition that it has given me great faith in CROWN FORD once again. I bought my first FORD and my 2nd FORD Truck from CROWN and hope to continue buying Ford's from them in the next near future. My appreciation and very grateful thanks to the General Manager Brian McCulley and his staff at CROWN Ford. I am very IMPRESSED with Brian, for assisting me with replacing the cracked windshield in my Platinum Truck and for another forthcoming assistance with the truck that he did not have to agree to complete. WOW, again did I say WOW.....this is real teamwork.

Warranty work on 2015 Mustang - Big Kevin
I purchased a speciality Roush Mustang from another Ford Dealer because Jones Ford does not sell Roush Mustangs. My car developed problems with rear view back-up camera and a noise in the performance package brakes. I made an appointment with service writer Michael W. and everything was going well until I arrived at the dealership for the service work. It was clear from the get go that Michael was not going to do anything about the two problems I brought the car in for. The initial service repair work order did not have any mention of the camera or brake problem so Michael had to hand write them after I brought it to his attention. He did have a door latch recall completed but the rear view camera and brakes were a different story. Michael went into the standard line of NO. " Sorry the camera worked fine when we tested it and no noise from the brakes. No repairs made." It went down hill from there with a piss poor attitude. Not really sure why Michael did not want to help but I would not recommend him for any warranty work.
Just to complete the story. I called my Jones Ford sales contact Tim Phillips , who put me in contact with the big boss. Big boss asked me to return the car for a recheck and maybe leave it overnight. No problem.
The rear view camera was properly diagnosed and replaced under warranty. The service writer the second time was James McCall. He was helpful and spot on trying to help. He showed me the service record for the proper way to check the rear view camera and a fault code was indeed found the second visit. James McCall will be my go to man as fair as service writers.
I had to return the Mustang to the Ford Dealer where I purchased it to have the performance package brakes replaced as per the guidelines of TSB 15-0030.
Jones Ford is my hometown dealership as I currently own 7 Ford vehicles ( Trucks & Vans) for my company purchased from Jones Ford. When it is time for me to order my next Mustang I will give Jones Ford and Tim Phillips first crack at the sale.

I have been dealing with their Service Dept since 2006 and have always been treated fairly. Even if a mistake is made they will bend over backwards to Get it right. As far as the sales Dept they are friendly and not pushy like other dealers. Just purchased my 3rd new vehicle from McLaughlin and Kimberly and JJ were very helpful,

2014 Mazda had a light to come on - Sunshine
A light came on were you push to start your car. First time we have had anything to happen to our 2014 Mazda. Called they worked us in and had it done in a couple of hours.. We were on vacation at Holden Beach and they were the only Mazda service department around. But everyone was wonderful to help anyway they can. A very pleasant t experience. Thank you all : )

So if your reading this feel free to read my first post for the details of my problem. The dealership immediate contacted me after seeing my feeling of the way I was treated. I want to say I was blown away by the help they offered me. Their computers where down when I brought my car in but they had already arranged for my jeep to be sent to the jeep dealership. They set me up with a rental with a full tank of gas and I was in and out of picking that up in less then ten minutes. Two days later my jeep was not only returned to me fixed but T.J even drove it to my job to switch cars so I did not have to miss work. This company is very considered by how they treat their customers over the long haul and they have completely redeemed themselves in my book. This is by far the best encounter I ever had in a dealership.We will be back. I also want to take the time to say publically T.J was amazing for all three of my sales and he always works very hard to help us out he has shown me through this all I was never just a sale to him because over six years and now three cars he has always went to great lengths to provide the best customer service around. This is a man who truly loves his job and wants to make his customer a life long customer. Thanks again T.J and Bear for turning my frown upside down!!!!

My new lincoln continental is a year old now and i love it so far. I would like give recognition today to the service department today for helping me out with a issue with my glove compartment. I brought it in and service rep i first spoke to said to me, no service appointments open till after the new year. I asked to speak to J.C. the lincoln sales manager And Donna Richardson customer service manager and explained that i was going on vacation for a few weeks and needed this issued looked at before i left and they made the magic happen. The glove compartment was repaired and a free detail to make up for my inconvenience. Thanks and i'll will be happy to have my very special car serviced here again. Also thanks to the service rep, Randy Foy and his guys for the speedy repair and excellent detail..my car looks brand new again

I called Fairway Ford after my car had major transmission failure ON the Southport ferry. I was leaving the next day to start my return trip to NY. They were so understanding and great to deal with. They got me in the next morning! I had called many other Ford Dealers that were not at all helpful. They had the parts necessary and repaired my car the next morning. I made it back to NY safely without losing much of my vacation. I am so thankful!

I should have known better, but wanted to try them again.
First problem is they do not have spaces for service customers to park because they have too many new vehicles crowded in their small area- you park in front of a row of cars and block them in.
When I went on 30 Jan 19, they had to order the part requiring me to come back next day for a 30-45 min install of the part, but, I needed to pay for the part first on work they had not done. The next day the "45 min install" time took 2 1/2 hours, and when I got the truck back the right tail light signal did not work. I brought it back and they had mistakenly pulled out the cable to the tail light. Berkeley Ford Service fixed this and gave me the truck back. I started the tuck to leave and found the fuse cover and fuze box with a pliers on the front passenger floor mat, where they failed to reinstall it. I brought it back again to get these covers installed. I talked to service manager who said he was sorry.
This is my second problem with Berkeley Ford Service. Recommend you Go to a different Ford dealership, and get better value and better service

My overall experience was so bad that there isn't enough room for everything to be put on here. Summary would be that the service dept. doesn't know how to work on cars or keep from damaging them while they are working on them. FRAUD would be the first word to come to mind. Don't take your vehicle there, you would really regret it.

Dealership is rude, and the owner and his son like to tell off customers who did not buy from their dealership. They will also not allow your vehicle to have work done or answer any questions if you stop by and don't have their sticker on your car. They have a VERY small selection of cars and charge top dollar thinking that people may not drive to one of the neighboring towns to purchase on a fair deal. The owner and his son both said FU to me when I stopped by with a question and offered to pay for their service. Dealership is old, run down and should be SHUT DOWN by Ford.
