You can go to the other fast talking dealers in the area and get the runaround, or you can go to Daniels and get an honest appraisal on your trade, and an outstanding deal on the vehicle you want to purchase. And it doesn't end there: The service/parts department, led by Sam Daniels, will go out of their way to see that you are treated as an individual, and not just another number on a service ticket. (They may not have coined the phrase, "Treat the customer the way you want to be treated.", but they live by it.)
Did I mention finance? F&I man Tracy Thompson handled the closing quickly and efficiently, without all the slick talk you get at other dealerships who try to squeeze in add-ons to jack up your payments and pad their profits.

They have the most friendliest personnel that I’ve ever seen, their building is beautiful, the exterior and interior are well maintained and best of all, they have athe largest inventory, diverse selection of automobiles and (custom) Trucks not found anywhere. I found that The Service and Parts Department continues and makes sure that your buying experience doesn’t stop there, they make sure that your new vehicle receives its necessary service on time, they also provide you with the installation of any additional accessories that parts may offer you or that you may want to enhance your new or used vehicle experience.

Service experience - Camaro owner
I drove a new honda for three years. I worked really hard and paid it off. I never had anything go wrong with it in miles 3 to 70,000 that I drove it. I traded the honda in for a camaro. So far it has developed a loud rattle in the shifter (a frequent problem for manual 6th gen camaros), the headliner has come unstuck, and another piece of trim has fallen down inside the car. This all happened in the first 5k miles. Tammy in service is really good to work with. I had a hard time with a couple of others especially when one of them told me that I had modded the car when it is totally stock and when I was telling them about the rattle in the shifter another guy asked me if I had ever driven a manual before (to which I said I had about 100k miles experience before buying the car). Both times Tammy jumped in and helped me out. She also helped me get set up with a car so I can go to work. Chevy might not have the most reliable car but at least they will honor the warranty without much hassle. I love my camaro. I hope this is all that goes wrong with it because I plan on keeping it for a long time. Ask for Tammy!

Excellent service from start to finish with this service department! I had a scheduled appointment and arrived 30 mins early, but everything was handled very quickly! I was impressed at the minimal wait time for the service. They have a beautiful and comfortable service area fir customers to wait. It is stocked with refreshments and drinks available to purchase as well. The area is huge so your not in a tiny area on top of other customers which makes the wait very pleasant. Customer service and overall service were top notch!

We purchased 3 vehicles through them and we will never go back. We traded in a 2017 Wrangler for a 2011 Subaru. I knew something didn’t seem right but didn’t trust my gut. We know nothing about cars so we have to trust what people say unfortunately. Within a day of purchasing the Subaru it refused to crank. First the maintenance dept said we’d have to wait 3+ days to come in. After our sales guy got us in the next day (I’d already replaced the battery just to get home because it had the factory battery still installed) we asked for a top to bottom inspection again. We were given a laundry list of problems including absolutely no coolant in it, bad linkages, oil leaks, etc. All of which they can’t fix because they don’t have “Subaru” mechanics. We take it home to assess how we’re going to pay to fix it all. When we call back a manager claims she doesn’t know who inspected it but they don’t know what they’re talking about somehow. Our car passed the used car inspection, there’s nothing to fix, and blows us off. At this point I take it to A Subaru dealership here and let them inspect it for the issues MR gave. We have no coolant leak, it was just empty, as proven with their tests. All other issues stand but aren’t immediate fixes. Now I’m done with Milton Ruben and take it back to Subaru 3 months later for an oil change, well we have 4 nice completely dry rotting tires. It’s just one thing after another you’d think they’d avoid with selling a reliable used vehicle. I know it’s our job to look over a car but as complete idiots we wouldn’t know what we’re looking at anyway. I can’t describe how disappointed I am after all this. Service dept is a joke and can’t say sales is much better. Stay away unless a qualified mechanic can go with you!

The buying process was excellent. Everything else was trash. They have given me the run around about fixing my car since the day I purchased it. Finally received the full report from the service department and find out that my car was not NEW even though the paperwork says it is.

Run as far as you can from this bunch. All they want todo is get you to buy. No service, took 6 months to get a gasket and then they told the truth that they had no mechanics to put part on. It will be an experience you’ll never forget.

We decided on a Silveraido crew 1500 the salesman was not aware that the truck we wanted did not qualify for the available discounts. We discussed these discounts prior to even looking at the available trucks. This caused a lot of confusion and my spouse felt like we were being taken advantage of. We agreed to purchase a different truck that qualified for the discounts. Our salesman kept disappearing and had to be located multiple times. I filled out forms and was told my credit would not be checked until we decided to move forward with the purchase. He was out of the room five minutes and I started receiving notifications on my phone that my credit had been accessed.
We traded or 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk and had to get the consumer protection agency involved in order to get the existing loan paid off. It took multiple calls to have the registration electronically processed. I will never set foot in a Thigpen dealership again. Not one person took responsibility to solve our challenges. Dealing with everyone was extremely frustrating and challenging. That was when you could speak to a live person, not one voicemail was ever returned.

Had struts replaced on my 2013 Caprice PPV because a performance car shop in the Atlanta area botched putting on new Konis. One strut was cross threaded and the other was leaking. Childre Chevy found the problems, used extra effort to get the damaged parts off, showed me the situation in the shop and put new struts on correctly after sourcing the part for my rare (in the USA) Australian-built Chevrolet Caprice. These folks know their GM cars and pay attention to you. Recommend Childre over the huge high volume dealerships any day.

Almost a year ago, I bought a car. Everything was fine until one day a couple months ago the engine just died while driving to drive through. They do not want anything to do with fixing my vehicle. The dealership has heard my story and refuses to fix my vehicle. Had it LESS than a year. Now I will have to have a re po on my credit or owe car loan an plus money for new engine. You've been warned!!!

This place is absolutely awesome. They are a small town dealer and do not hustle you! They are in it to make relationships with their customers and not just make a sale. If you're thinking about buying a car in the middle Georgia Area, I would skip over the dealers in Perry, Macon, and Warner Robins and head down to Unadilla (or another Brannen Dealership). I could not believe the success we had in our deal with this company!
