Overall the work performed seems good and as requested. It is a bit frustrating that the dealer cannot give you the price of Ford's "The Works" over the phone in advance because, seemingly, they don't know how much oil their own Expedition takes. Also, when completed, there is a nice inspection checklist that they show me, but it always seems to disappear from the paperwork at checkout.

I bought a new Explorer . Twelve months later the paint came off the hood and fenders. After three months of grief attempting to get the problem resolved they finally painted the hood. The fenders were my problem! Nobody returns phone calls or will inform me during the process. Very frustrated with the lack of service !

I drove 125 miles to look at a used car I saw on cars.com website. They called me several times and sent many pictures to my phone, as requested. So, I made the trip on a Saturday morning, was greeted quickly and shown the car. Test drove the car, liked it, they knocked off some $$ since it had not been run through their service dept yet (they had only had the car a couple days-and I wanted it then so...) Gerald got me a low finance rate after checking around with different lenders (at my request-I’ve got great credit, so didn’t settle for his first quote). Drove it home after a couple hours time! Even though I didn’t buy a Ford from them, they made me feel like family. I would definitely buy another car from them. The whole experience was no pressure from start to end. One of the best things- NO DOC fees! They just don’t believe in them.. said they get a lot of people from other states buying from them just because of that if nothing else. I drove from Tennessee to get this car, and would again!

I took my company work truck in for a simple flat repair. After being told that it would be a 1/2 hour to repair the tire, I agreed to wait. After an hour of waiting the truck had not moved from where they had parked it. I asked the service writer if she could build a fire under the shop people because I needed to get back to the job site. She responded that they were waiting for a lift that would lift a 1 ton truck. Since when do you need a lift to remove 1 tire!!! At the 2 hour mark, the service writer brought me the #10 screw that been in the tire and said that the tire was repairable, which was bull!! The screw was 3" from the side wall. Long story short they where trying to get me to buy tires. I took the tire to another shop to only find out that the tech at Akins had ruined the tire with his attempt to repair the tire. I will never darken their door again! This was my 2nd visit to this dealership. The 1st was for a oil change that took 2 hours with an appointment.

To begin, what looks like the receptionist was rude and unfriendly. She didn’t bother to answer when we said hello and good morning. Didn’t make eye contact and has no clue as to what a customer is. First impression didn’t go well. Dark hair woman and probably early 30s working on Saturday, December 29th. She needs lessons on how a business works. The car dealer my husband spoke to over the phone never came out of his office to greet us and at least get someone else to help us within the first five minutes of arrival. We waited over 20 minutes walking around before someone helped. The other salesman never bothered although his other customer had left. A greeting goes a long way. The person we dealt with was nice but inexperienced. He could had sold the $28,000 plus truck if he had tried a bit harder. We had more than one option for the purchase. I don’t think they were to eager to do business and why we decided to move on. Don’t ever judge a book by its cover. This dealership and the people working there have a lot to learn. Can’t recommend at this time.

Took my car in for a recall service. After their service, my car keeps grinding while trying to start. Took car back to dealership, and they deny any problem. Mean while, my car has a starting problem now that was not there before they serviced it. Do not recommend this dealership.

WARNING DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE. I called this dealership, when asked for my name I only gave my first name. I was not asked for my phone number nor would I have given it. I asked one question about Explorer, whether or not back glass on lift gate opens separately, I was told " no " so I said I am not interested in it and hung up. Next day they called me at 1:03pm and asked for me by my first and last name. Again I said I am not interested and hung up. These people not only caller ID my call to them to get my phone number they also did a reverse look-up to get my last name and most likely my address to send junk mail. They did all of that without my knowledge or permission. Next day this sorry dealership called me again at 7:31pm from a different number than the day before so I would not recognize number and not answer. All I did was call them to ask one question and they turned it into invasion of my privacy to harass me. I would never buy a vehicle from these people.

I dropped my Lincoln off because the brakes were not working right. They stated pads were good but brake booster had a busted diaphragm. Quoted $712 to fix. I picked my car up 3 days later to $752 charge. I drove my car home and the brake pedal is literally scrubbing when you press it and the pedal goes all the way to the floor before stopping the car. I took it back to them and they say it's normal? I have drove this car for five years and I think I know what the brakes felt like before. I will not purchase a car from them or use their service dept again. As a side note, I checked out their review on FB before using them. I wish I had looked deeper. Their employees have given them a lot of the 5 star ratings that they have. In my opinion, that is just deceptive and shady.

I took my Ford F-350 pickup to Mike Jones Ford Lincoln for them to replace a light bulb in my dash, which should have been a simple task. I know this because I had a bulb in the dash previously replaced at another Ford dealership in the area. Shortly after dropping off the truck, the dealership calls me stating that the light cannot be replaced and that I should buy a whole new instrument cluster for $780. I return to the dealership and they slap me with an $85 ticket in exchange for getting my keys back. I don't know if the issue was incompetence or they are just charlatans.
