Terrible Customer Service - New Customer
I made an appointment and brought my car in for service. I waited two hours for the service rep to tell me what needed to be done - two hours before they even looked at my car. Then it was another three hours to complete the work. Part of the work involved the brakes, for which the tires need to be removed. They had the nerve to charge me for a tire rotation, when the tires had to be removed anyway. I've had my car since 2012, and have brought it to other Toyota dealers for every scheduled service. I have never had a bad experience until now. I will find another another service place, and so should you.

Stay away from this dealership, they are extremely unprofessional and liars, specially sales person Eric Simon disregards people time, plays mind games to lure you into the dealership with fictitious price deals, no ethics or professionalism with this sales person and dealership. TODAY 12/3/18 MY FATHER 81 YEARS OLD (WITH ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE EARLY STAGE) WENT TO THE DEALER WITH 2 LIGHTS IN THE DASH FOR HELP, THE DEALER SERVICE STAFF MADE MY DAD BELIEVE THAT THE CAR WAS OVERHEATED AND THE ENGINE HAD TO BE REPAIR BECAUSE IT WAS BLOWN.EVERYTHING WAS A FAKE.WHEN MY SISTER APPROACHES THE DEALER SHE CONTACTED ME WITH RICARDO PEREZ AND HE ASSURED ME THE CAR IS REALLY DAMAGED.TOTAL REPAIR COST $2843.00. HE AGREED WITH ME NEXT FRIDAY AFTERNOON TO SEE HOW I WOULD MAKE THE PAYMENT AFTER THE CAR WAS COMPLETELY FIXED BECAUSE THEY HAD ALREADY STARTED WORKING ON THE CAR, INSTEAD I WENT TO THE DEALER TO SEE THE CAR.....WOW WHAT A SURPRISE, NOT ONLY THAT THEY HAD NOT STARTED BUT MY CAR WAS COMPLETELY PERFECT CONDITIONS......THEY JUST TRIED TO CHEAT A OLD MAN.

La peor experiencia que e tenido en mi vida . Yo mande una oferta al dealer que me había dado La Doral Toyota y la muchacha que me atendió me hizo bajar 60 millas hasta el dealer diciéndome de que su manager había aprobado una mejor oferta y todo era mentira .
No recomiendo este dealer , no me gustan las compañías que mienten y que engañan a las personas . Los managers son un asco y te tratan super mal .
Al final no consigues las ofertas , todo es mentira . Y te envuelven y te engañan para que compres por encima del presupuesto que ya tienes .

Beware of AutoNation (AN) Toyota Weston located in Davie, FL! Long story short; they sold away a car several days after I placed down a deposit for it. Now AN will not respond to my inquiries made via phone, text, email, and online chat about a refund.
Below is the timeline.
8/24: I placed a $500 deposit on car. Was told by the AN salesperson that this was required to prevent car being sold elsewhere.
8/25: Because I live out of state, I paid $150 for a local licensed ASE mechanic to inspect the car on my behalf. Results of the inspection uncovered missing wheel lock key and worn tires.
8/26: AN sent me the terms of financing for 72 months. I then asked for quotes for 48 and 60-month terms. At that time, I also asked about AN how they would address the missing wheel lock key and worn tires.
8/27: No follow up from AN after numerous attempts to contact them.
8/28: After multiple attempts I received a text from the salesperson stating that “I was off yesterday and still busy” and “as soon as I’m done I will have them take a look at it”.
8/29: No follow up from AN about the financing, wheel lock key, or tires inquiries.
8/30: No follow up from AN after receiving a text that the salesperson would call me soon.
8/31: Received an automated email notification from CarGurus stating that the car I was interested in was no longer available. I then called the sales person and was told that the car was sold. Salesperson apologized and assured me that the store manager would contact me. She further assured me that I would receive my deposit back and compensation for the $150 mechanic cost. Later that evening, I put the refund and compensation request in writing.
9/1: Contacted AutoNation Corporate and was told someone from the customer relations team would be in touch with me in a timely manner.
9/2: Still waiting for that timely call…
What bothers me the most is that the salesperson was unresponsive throughout the whole experience. If she would have addressed my concerns in a timely manner I’m sure I would have been able purchased the car. Why did it take 5 days for ME to finally get in contact with THEM after asking for clarification about the financing terms and legitimate concerns about the car?
What is also troubling is that the salesperson didn’t have the decency to call me and let me know the situation. I had to find out from a 3rd party website! Furthermore, what surprised me next is that she didn’t have the manager contact me about the situation as is typical with any car purchase experience gone wrong. The situation was handled inadequately, I have not received my deposit back or compensation for the car inspection, and AN has yet to accept the responsibility of situation.
Contrary to their website, AutoNation Toyota Weston located in Davie, FL lacks commitment and dedication to provide their customers with a purchase experience that meets the needs of the consumer.
I plan on contacting the BBB, Florida Attorney General, small claims court, etc…
