service advisor just doesn't care - MrDisappointed
The service advisor made a routine service visit to this dealership a nightmare for my daughter who attends a local college. Advisor has no concern for for the customers time and is disingenuous about when the vehicle will be ready. This advisor Doesnt care if you have other appointments or commitments that day as a two hour promised turned into a twenty two hour nightmare. Advisor would not take my call and got back to me six hours later for a Simple oxygen sensor installation. My first experience at this dealership was great but after this experience I can no longer trust that my vehicle will be repaired as promised. The service manager is aware of my situation and was sympathetic to my comments but none the less this was a major inconvenience for a seemingly simple repair and will not happen again.

I just purchased a 2019 Tahoe from this dealership. Arling, The young sales associate was knowledgeable and helpful but a good experience stopped with him. He brought Julie in to negotiate the deal. She handed me a piece of paper with her signature on it with what she guaranteed was my “out the door price“, however, when I had to sit down with Marcel the finance manager somehow the price increased by more than $2000. Although he tried to baffle me with jargon for nearly 45 minutes, he wasn’t able to give a realistic explanation. Ultimately I held my ground and got close to the agreed-upon price but the experience was awful. Marcel gives dealers a bad name.

Brand new Equinox broke down after 2 months ! - Unhappy customer
The sales staff was great. Car buying experience was great. Did not expect the new car to break down after two months. Has been in Service for three weeks they tell me they cannot find out what is wrong with it and why it broke down said I needed a new catalytic converter replace that then my engine light came on had to take it back they don’t know why they replaced a fuse or some exhaust thing, left again to days later service engine light came back on again had to take it back in. Then they did not have a loaner to give me. No one answers your phone calls for service manager Sean never called you back had to contact corporate office ,still not resolved . The service tech said the new diesel equinox has “bugs” that need to be worked out and they did not know how or what was wrong to fix my brand new car!Inquired about Lemon Law and was told immediately did not qualify. After 3 visits to service dept, the lemon is still there and we are making payments on a car I can’t drive!

Really like DAngelo the salesman... the money guy was a dick and didn’t want to deal... no negotiation, nothing , he just said this is it! Drove directly to another Mazda dealership and got a great deal...their loss is Gunther Mazda’s gain!!
