Fast friendly and efficient - Morganv3
I have to drive 3-1/2 hours to get my oil changed to keep my lifetime warranty intact. I was earlier than expected. They got my truck in and completed in less than an hour. Thoroughly inspected and changed my engine oil. Always enjoy the service here at Dan Cummins.

Absolutely take your vehicle to Bob Hook Chevrolet!!! I live 5 HRs north and was visiting my daughter at school when my car broke down, over a Holiday weekend. Service Advisor, Kris Hurt, is the person you should ask for, he knows his stuff!!! Not only did he make me feel more comfortable about my situation, he reassured me it would be taken care of, and it was!!!! Thank you for a job well job—-I’m sorry I don’t live in state to have my vehicle serviced here!

Worse Dealership I've ever worked with! - Patrick
Herb Kinman is responsible for the worse car buying and owning experience I have ever had...period. Avoid this place at all costs! Drive a little further and buy from a dealership that doesn't have a "C" rating from the BBB.
I've had 10 lifters replaced in my truck in 4 years. In 2015 I had 2 replaced and was assured by HKC that it wouldn't happen again, that this was a fluke. A few weeks ago another lifter went out. I called HKC and the general managers solution was to sell me a new car.
2016 Chevy Malibu engine problem - - angryCustomer
Well I bought a 2016 Malibu Chevrolet in around Dec 2016 I believe which is not even that old. I was told it was brand new and it turned out to be a loaner that they sold me as brand new and mind you I am paying the car note which is a lot. Anyone knows if you were to buy a brand new car and as soon as you drive off the lot, its no longer new according to the dealer. a couple of months ago while driving the car suddenly gave me an error message on the dashboard which reads "engine power reduced" and I almost got into an accident since the car suddenly reduced power on its own and I was unable to speed beyond 40 miles. The gas pedal just stopped working and engine light comes on. I had to pull over and turn off the car for it to work again. Then it happened again and again . Now I took the car to Bachman for service on the 11th and told them of the issue. They say they would look at it and it would take about 1 to 3 hrs as they were busy . Now 7 hours passed and they left me a voice mail at 5 pm that they couldn't get to it and they would fix it in the morning the next day. Now its after 10 AM and no one called me back and when I tried to get them they just told me to come pick the car as they would have to order a part and they don't know when it will come it..when it comes in for me to come back and drop the car. If a car is not driveable why the xxxx would I want and go pick a car to drive home that the engine stops on its own and cannot speed and for me to drive back again to them with the same condition. You can bet this issue will not die as I plan to take my grievance to GM or the Bachman family and look into this with the Attorney General to see if a lemon was sold to me and a car being advertised as new which was really a loaner..I now regret I ever walked into Bachman. I am praying that my wife's Sonic which she bought there does not start giving issues as well. And they better not charge me for whatever work they are doing cause I will be fuming .
so bad worst things - ali
Went here around 8 months ago and had them inspect the car for maintenance, had a bad experience initially and already commented on that before. Just recently had oil changed at another facility and they found extreme case of mold on my air conditioning filter, the guy who changed it told me it had to have been like that for at least 2 years due to the amount of mold build up. So beware of this place again, still finding problems they overlooked when they were supposed to have done maintenance on my car around 8 months ago.
New Service Manager - Disappointed
I HAD a 2015 Buick Encore. When Bob was service manager, he listened to what I had to say. The "new" lady told me it would cost $100 to review to find out what my problem was. My vehicle was under warranty and I had never been treated like I was unwanted or didn't know what I was talking about. When I told her I would not have the vehicle after I left their lot, she said she could have a salesman show me other vehicles on their lot. She didn't seem to understand...if I had to deal with her as the service manager, I would never own another GM product. I had now owned a 2018 Jeep Gran Cherokee Laredo 4X4 for over two months. So you can quick sending me the reminders, because I wouldn't recommend your lot to anyone even if they knew you had the perfect care for them.

Horrible - Beth246
Sales sucked! They are so confused about what they are selling and doing! Service even worse!! My young pregnant daughter took her car in to have recalls fixed on it. Before going in car drove just fine. When recalls were done being fixed she had to go immediately to work and her car was shaking going 20mph. Came out of work and her tire was destroyed with two large punctures in the tire. Luckily she didn't have a blow out going down the road. Went to big m to talk about what happened and they pretty much blow it off said they never lifted her car, called my daughter a lier and said they had no part in it and it just happens sometimes.
Excellent and Trustworthy Service! - D. Wessel
My family and I are from Ontario, and our 2006 Grand Caravan broke down (from engine failure) on I-75 over the 2015 Christmas holidays, and was towed to Frank Shoop. As anyone who has had their vehicle serviced far from home, I was terrified of being taken advantage of. Much to my relief, I received great satisfaction from the staff at the dealership. The service managers were extremely informative and helpful, and kept our concerns to a minimum. The mechanic (Zeus) was highly knowledgeable, and actually came in early on his day off to fix this problem; in fact, when the problem proved to be elusive, he took time from his vacation to finish the job! Initially, the problem was a seized crank sensor, which the mechanic fought to loosen and replace in a way that saved me the potential of great expense. When the sensor proved to be only the tip of the problem, the mechanic spent more time on further diagnostics and wiring repair - but in doing so, the problem mysteriously corrected itself; the thinking seemed to be that the removal and reinstallation of the existing wiring may have corrected the issue. However, I was not charged one cent for any of this extra labour - only the cost of the initial diagnostic and the labour for the sensor replacement! Overall, it was a great experience for someone who was a helpless traveller and at the mercy of an unknown service department. From my experience, I can assure you that you can trust the staff at Frank Shoop!
Rude, disrespectful and liers - Kruser
I made an appointment for a recall notice for the next day. They confirmed they had the part and would hold one for me. After a long drive and pulling into the service area it took forever to get waited on. When a service manager did show up he asked what I needed so I showed him the recall notice. He put it on the counter and started doing other work. When I asked about what was going on he let me know he was busy and I would need to wait until he finished other papers. Another service person came but never offered to help. Another customer came in and the second service manager started helping him. After about 20 minutes I was told I had no appointment. All they wanted to know was who I talked to. How the heck did I know. I said, "The person that answers the phone I guess". Then they told me the new parts they had for the recall were being held for other customers. They offered no help of any kind. Maybe I should be grateful because I was shopping for a new Charger for my son who was getting out of the Navy. Do yourself a favor and pass this place up.
fantastic job - pastor.earlyBen
From making the appointment to service and etc. it was fantastic, they did an excellent job. We do have extended warranty on the chevy but you all do not have a copy and it should have come up as we bought it through the dealer in Arkansas where we lived at the time. Could not have been more satisfied. The young man that handled my car was professional friendly and encouraging. Way to go.
