*** DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO JAKE SWEENEY***. I was completely dissatisfied with every step of service for my vehicle. I called on a Monday to make appointment for Friday 5/11/18 I arrived approximately at 9:30 to drop my car off for a diagnosis. I knew that there were two repairs that were needed. I advised two people on the phone what was wrong and then to savannah in person when I dropped my car off. None of which was fully noted or told to the technician. I was not called by the end of the day Friday so I began calling on Saturday morning to see what the status of my car was. I spoke to two different people after several calls that weren't answered I was told I would receive a call back and never did. So thus us day two after having an appointment to only have my car looked at. Nothing for two days so on Monday I began calling again because yet still no return call. I finally got a call back and was asked a fourth time what was wrong with my car. I had to tell the information again! On day three and because my car was just sitting there because they were too busy to look at it I'm on my third day of paying for a rental. The manager Anthony was very unprofessional and rude which I have his voicemail still with his rude message recorded. He was very unapologetic for the way the service was handled for my car didn't think that getting to my car after three days was unreasonable. I'm not sure about anyone else but that is unacceptable to me. He offered no accommodations or accountability for the lack of service and communication and the money it was costing me for their mistakes. Instead tried to justify it by saying when u make an appointment it's not to have your car looked at but simply to drive it through their drop off and that's it. Then they get to it when they can. AGAIN unacceptable. An appointment is an appointment not a drop off. Then they tried over charging me for my repairs. It took a lot of phone calls and threat to the BBB before my total charge was as correct as I could get it. When picking up my car a tech tried to get in my car with my children in the car. I told him to wait I would move the car. He then called me a xxxxx right in front of my children. A second tech tried to get in with my children in the car. That is totally unacceptable. U don't get in a vehicle with someone children in the car. My overall experience was HORRIBLE. I will never go back there and will never refer them. I would highly recommend u take your car somewhere else.

I sent my Chevrolet to be repaired at McCluskey Kings Auto Mall this past July 2018. I sent it to McCluskey because I liked the dealership and it’s a Chevrolet dealer. This has turned into an absolute nightmare. There are so many details I will not go into but this is just terrible. I really wish I would have read the reviews before dealing with their service department.Since July my vehicle has had to go back twice. I have paid almost $1400 in repairs which I will say they did discount some but that’s because they missed a repair per their admittance. Now this last time (Labor Day) the vehicle had to go back again for the same issue and we were going to need to pay another $700 in repairs which one of the repairs was a thermostat we asked to be replaced the first time and they said we didn’t need it. Now it’s in need of an engine. Per Mccluskey I have only paid $700 but I have receipts reflecting almost $1400. They are also claiming we just want free services. The truth is if they would have fixed my suvcorrectly the first time then the suv would probably still be running. I had no problem with paying to get my vehicle fixed until I had to send it back that many tines. And now after they asked me about trading it in they then turned around and declined the offer; giving me a $14000 car repair estimate. Consumer beware! There is something that is wrong going on in their service department.

Well I wrote a review in December because of a leak that was "fixed" at Jeff Schmitt South and am now writing another because I just walked out on my service appointment feeling like driving thru their front showroom. My last review was about the coolant leak that was supposedly fixed last year but a couple months later the coolant light came on. I have been adding coolant myself ever since because they haven't even been doing it at my oil changes, even tho I have told them it's still leaking and physically showed it to the guy at the pre-service inspection at my last one. Now I finally put in my service request that I want them to figure out why it's still leaking because just telling them when I show up hasn't done any good. Today I get called a liar because the service tech(s) didn't put a note on the computer when I told them it was still leaking and that I have to pay a diagnostics fee for SOMETHING THEY GOT PAID ALMOST $500 TO FIX IN THE FIRST PLACE! Why is there a review on this site from the same day I had my last oil change then?? Or why do I have a picture of an empty coolant reservoir that was taken 15 or 20 minutes after I paid for that oil change?? BECAUSE I WAS UPSET THAT NOTHING WAS DONE AFTER I TOLD THEM, NOT EVEN TOPPING OFF THE RESERVOIR!! I was also getting a quote for tires and getting ready to trade my car in on a truck AND buy a car for my daughter and they lost a customer over a diagnostics fee they want to charge me for their repair! Now I am stuck with a car that leaks, unless I want to pay someone else to fix the same thing I paid Jeff Schmitt to fix. When I first took the car in I told them it looked to me like it was the water pump, which is under recall, but NOOO it had to be the water pump OUTLET and cost almost $500 to fix. Then why is it still leaking?? I'll just give my money to that goofball SVG and drive the extra distance before I give Jeff Schmitt any more of it. I got a follow up email from Jeff Schmitt service a couple days after my last review. I replied back to that email with all the issues I've had there and never even got a response after that.
Condescending Service Representative - danid917
I called twice in 2 days and talked to same guy. He was condescending and then had the nerve to ask why I didn't come to the appointment. I took my business to Jeff Wyler- that's why! Jeff Wyler was as accommodating as Joseph Chevrolet was degrading. Gee I guess I just don't want some middle aged, jaded chauvinist working on my vehicle. I was considering making my next vehicle purchase at Joseph Chevrolet but after this experience I will not be returning but however taking my business to Jeff Wyler who obviously appreciates my business.

This is in response to Ashli Kitchen's response of my complaint(review) on August 13th! I still have not heard from her or anybody else from Jeff Schmitt regarding my horrible experience! All I've received is some useless apology in her response! What a joke! as far as I'm concerned, they don't even deserve one star on any of these categories! They got my money and screwed me over! This is after they admitted that the mistake was on their part! A written apology does not work for me here... I will continue to post bad reviews and take advantage of social media against Jeff Schmitt dealerships as much as I can until my voice is heard personally by Ashli or someone else who actually cares! in addition, it is time for me to contact the Better Business Bureau as well to file a complaint! Like I said before, they are wolves in sheep's clothing! They're in it for the buck, they don't care about their customers! Don't go to Jeff Schmitt dealerships unless you want to get screwed! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

I took my 2014 Silverado In for oil change and tire ration and they called me and said that the mechanic tripped over the air hose and it dented and scratched my truck. They said that they we're gonna put touch up paint on it which I refused that they use touch up paint seeing how there's a dent also and it's only six months old and 38000 dollars I expected higher quality out of them seeing how my sales person was amazing but I won't be taking my truck back there for repairs highly disappointed in the quality of there service department . So i get a call saying my door is fixed and I go to pick it up and look at the door they have painted dirt into my door so my truck is still there ten days later and now it will be another 3 to 4 days before I get my truck back
