Quick,easy, and friendly - MarioandJamie516
My husband and I needed a bigger vehicle so we stopped in to Glockners just to see what they had. We had a wonderful salesperson who showed us different vehicles that would meet the criteria in which we were looking for. We had our 3 small children with us and they were getting impatient so the salesperson helped us with them while we were making our decision and gave them some toys and talked with them to help us. We were all offered drinks while we were there and the employees were always smiling! After we picked out which vehicle the finance process was just as easy and the representative was awesome and did a wonderful job explaining in detail what we were signing. We will definitely be back and would 💯 recommend shopping Glockners!

An Auto Dealer that stands behind its offers !!!!! - truckguy
I started looking for a pick-up in early December 2018, researching carefully as the item I was considering had a price tag of almost $50,000 I wanted to make sure I would make the right decision. To say the least it was very a very confusing task. Rebates, discounts, 0% financing and all the other ways the manufacturers use to mask the real price. To simplify the task I used emails to get out the door pricing. I looked thru their inventory, selected in most cases the exact model, features and in three cases the same color and asked them to apply everything I was entitled to and let me know what it is going to cost me. Simple, right. At least I thought so. Wrong !!!!!!!!
I received four responses, in writing (emails) set appoints according to the distanced I had to drive and was all set to buy. Wrong again !!!
Their was always some "confusion" that they "misunderstood" something, even though it was in writing and basically they could not do what they had agreed to.
But on my third try I met Josh Cole from Huebner Chevrolet, who not only stood behind his offer but exceeded it. But being a little jaded from my previous experiences I didn't even take my title or checkbook but we completed the deal and I drove my new tuck home that day.

This is my 2nd truck bought here. This time I brought my old truck in for service and got some bad news. Being my truck had some mileage on I decided it was time to trade it in. I explained my situation to my salesman Kevin Cook, and he pointed me to a truck he had just taken in on trade. Now thanks to Kevin and the great staff here at Coughlins I have a newer truck in an awesome deal.
Great service - Zap

Horrible service department and sales people that lie - PBC
I bought a 2015 Jeep a year ago. During the sales process, there were issues with the battery and starting the vehicle. I had the sales person write up that if I had issues with the battery, they would replace for free. A month later, the battery died and it cost me $250 since they would not honor the free replacement.
Not even a year later, the new battery failed. I took the battery out of the Jeep and walked into the parts department to exchange the battery, since it was clearly within the 3 year replacement warranty. I can't believe the series of events that unfolded.
Prior to taking the battery for replacement, I had it checked at Autozone and charged it at home overnight. Nothing helped as it still would not start the Jeep. Logically, taking it to the dealer should result in a quick replacement. Not the case.
The parts department refused to look at the battery since it was not in the vehicle. I expressed that the vehicle would not start. Why should I have it towed to the dealer if I can simply get a new battery and be on my way. I spoke with management who insisted their policy required that the vehicle was present, with battery in place, to run diagnostics. I expressed this was not practical since I could not start the vehicle and towing it would cause additional delays in getting to work (I was missing the morning at work to get this replaced).
So I went back home, placed the bad battery back in the Jeep and got it to the service department only to find out I had to make an appointment. After waiting over an hour for my appointment, the service person took in the vehicle and said it would have to charge over 3 hours before they could run the tests. I didn't hear anything after the 3 hours passed so I reached out and was told the battery failed after 30 minutes charging and was replaced, covered under warranty.
If I would have bought a new battery initially at Wal-Mart or Autozone, I would have walked out immediately with a replacement. Instead, trusting my dealer, I lost almost a complete day of work - to swap out a battery - ridiculous.
I will never buy anything or have any vehicle serviced at Progressive. I will also tell everyone I know to never deal with Progressive. The sales people lie and the service is horrible.
Best experience at a dealership. - Vette guy
From the time we entered the dealership until we left, felt very welcome. Was greeted by Ray Hawk and a few minutes later by Kathy Watson. We are in Chapter 13 and Ray was the first salesperson who listened and heard what we were saying about price and interest rate. Kathy was very pleasant to talk to on the phone. Would highly

Beyond poor experience - Courtney
I met a salesman by the name of Lenny at the Coughlin dealsership in Newark, OH after I called and requested to test drive a used Jeep this past Saturday. This particular vehicle didn't suit my needs. Lenny suggested I get on their website as he would still be able to assist me. In doing my OWN research I located a 2018 Rav 4 at the Toyota dealership in Heath, Ohio. I contacted Lenny the following Monday morning regarding this vehicle. We set up a time that evening for my boyfriend to drive in from Columbus and for Lenny to drive from Newark. I drove the car and loved it as suspected. I was transparent about where I wanted my payments to be. Of course the initial numbers given per the sales manager were ridiculous and much higher than what I was comfortable with. I had requested they provide numbers on both a lease and a 72 month finance. After they worked my deal for a second time, my boyfriend and I decided to leave so I could think about it. I texted Lenny first thing this morning to tell him I decided to purchase the vehichle if they were able to come down from the estimated monthly payment by $20. Shortly thereafter, Lenny requested I call him. He went on to inform me that there was an issue. The numbers were accidentally worked on a different Rav 4!! Ummm... how does this happen? I mean, my credit was ran and they were ready for me to take the car last night. Tyler Workman the general sales manager requested I call him in an attempt to make this right. Yet, my payments were almost $80 higher. Lenny texted through the day and assured me his manager at the Newark location would make this right as e felt horrible about what had happended. He asked me to give them 30 minutes of my time after my work day. He informed me they had a 2019 GMC terrain- $410 a month and he would get me the color I wanted. Well, I get there to find the $410 was a lease. What part of "I want to purchase my vehicle" is so confusing???? He suggested I still drive it and he would look into my payment on a buy. I returned to the dealership and was greeted with a payment in the $500's and was also told they couldn't find the color I wanted. At this point the sales manager came to the table and actually stated he was hopeful I woul have fallen in love with the grey. Soooo, now more of my time is wasted and I am not being heard! The sales manager asked what I would be comfortable with to get me in a car today and expressed how he wanted to make this right. I repeated myself again...He asked to show me the Equinox Premiere. Before driving it, he told me he could get my payments where I wanted for 72 months. I test drove the vehicle and made the decision to proceed. When I returned to the dealership I informed Lenny of my decision. He stated "you realize that is a lease, right?" I was speechless. He repeatedly stated he was here for me and knew that I wanted to purchase the car. He said he overheard the sales manager state he had me "sold on the Equinox". HA! Why at some point did Lenny not speak up and say there is a misunderstanding? Although, how much more clear can someone be when they say "I DON'T WANT TO LEASE." Through all of this Megan and David from customer service has contacted me multiple times. Both extremely nice, but, I am sorry...I honestly don't see the point as nothing was taken care of. We wasted time and energy. This is such a poor reflection of both dealerships. I understand people are human and mistakes are made. But, where was the attention to detail at the Heath location? And the Newark location...how dare them act as if they want to make this situation better. They are shady and a prime example of why buying a car can be such a nightmare!
Awesome - Tpriest123
Gary is the best!!! He makes everything fun and a pleasure. Then when you’re done with him and they send you to Heather to do paperwork it’s just as pleasant.

Thanks to the freezing temperatures, I managed to detach one of my truck door handles from the door. Coughlin had the part in stock, and made an appointment for the next day. On the day of my service, I got there early, and they took my truck back early. My new door handle was quickly installed and I was on my way. Coughlin's indoor drop off/pick up area is great for those days when the weather is not cooperating!
Problems with the truck - SIMPLEMAN0807
When I purchased the truck I was told by the salesman that I couldn't take it off the lot till they did a 72 point inspection do on it. He gave me a sheet to take to wheeling tire to get it inspected after whitesides did the 72 point inspection. I was not able to get the truck inspected due to the window tin being 16% for it to pass it could not be less then 35%. I contacted the salesman and he said they would take care of and I brought it back to the dealer and they removed it. Which I appreciate it. I took it back and tried to get it inspected again and it failed the tires were all dry rotted. So I drove to whitesides and talked to Tony the salesman he talked to the manager and Tony and the manager said they would take care of replacing the tires. I also told Tony there was a problem with the engine. Since I bought it when you start out from a stop it hesitates I also told him that going from a 50mph . speed to 65 mphr it hesitated and hesitates and bogs down. He called to the service department to let them know after I had to ask him. He wanted me to do it when I took the truck to have the tires replaced. I told the service dept when they removed the tint. Nothing was checked. I Lionel the truck. But I'm disappointed that the tires aren't checked. The tint. The engine wasn't checked when the 72 point inspection was done. I also noticed that when it was detailed for me to pick it that the driver side cab corner is rusted. And that the driver side rear food has a long scratch in it. And someone tried to cover it up by using a marker on it. It was dark when I picked the truck up. I buy the truck with the intentions that everything would have been taken care of before it left the lot.
