I had been in a couple dealerships in the area and talked to other salseman. They don't compare to the whole experience. Just walking into the front door of the building, you feel like a million dollars. My salseman Matt has patience of a saint, and General manager took very good care of me on my trade in. Because so, this is the second vehicle I bought from Suburban this year. I tried the other Dealers, butt, when it comes down to customer service I won't go any where else. Keep up the good work guys.

From the initial phone call and emails, to the first time I walked in the Dealership Eric Smith and his manager, Jerry Kelly, treated me with the utmost respect and provided excellent customer service. I was coming from a thousand miles away to purchase a rare SAAB automobile(the other Swedish brand, now defunct), so you can imagine my trepidation initially with all aspects of the sales process. But Eric is a true sales professional and very thorough to the point of doing most of the backend business processes since the Business Manager was out that day. Eric did the test drive, pricing, paperwork, and had me out the door in record time, yet I never felt rushed or taken advantage of. The car itself is great and I can't thank Eric and Jerry enough for a great overall sales experience. BTW, when SAABs get too rare and expensive, my next new purchase will be a Volvo.

Over this past week I had the pleasure to have my car serviced at Suburban Ford of Ferndale. My car was at a maintenance shop prior to it's arrival at the Dealership. My experience at the shop was incredibly frustrating. My car was misdiagnosed from the very beginning at the first shop. The work order I was presented with totaled $560. I regrettably agreed to the work and let the shop do their thing. After the work was done, the shop discovered they misdiagnosed the problem only after realizing my car was still inoperable post repair. My car sat in their garage for 4 days until the shop manager told me it had to be taken to a certified ford mechanic for the repair!!! I then called around to a few local Ford dealers to see about getting my car serviced. All of them had a 1-2 week waiting period just to be seen! I ultimately had my car towed to Suburban Ford of Ferndale where I had the pleasure of working with their service consultant Blaize Bailey. She was the definition of "excellence in customer service". Blaize was able to get my car diagnosed and fixed in 2 days. She was beyond polite and kept me informed every step of the way. Suburban Ford of Ferndale diagnosed the problem, was able to fix the issue under and extended warranty (free!!!!), and had my car back to me running better than it ever has. They also found an issue that I had been suspecting for a while and fixed it for just 1 hour of labor. What started as the worst auto service experience of my life ultimately turned into a demonstration of service excellence. I'd like to thank Blaize Bailey and the staff at Suburban Ford of Ferndale for everything they did to get me back on the Road!!!! I will certainly return for any Service I may need in the future.

Jay Douglas was very patient and helpful as I spent nearly a year looking at and test driving several new 911s, including base, turbo, and GTS models. Although I ended up buying a certified used turbo from out of state, I have great confidence in the sales staff at this dealership and would not hesitate to buy new or used from them. A good friend of mine purchased a used 911 from them and was very happy with his experience as well.
Since purchasing my turbo, I have had two non warranty service experiences with Porsche of Ann Arbor. Both wear somewhat unusual requests, including steering wheel swap and deactivation of the power steering plus feature. The dealer had not done either of these before, but the service manager, Phil Kaiser, and the service technicians spent a lot of time to do the jobs correctly without overcharging me. The steering wheel swap and reprograming took around 4 hours. From what I read on porsche forums, this is about average time for a dealer that has not done it before, and people where generally charged for the actual time spent. Porsche of AA charged me book time of 1hour.
I feel fortunate to be a Porsche owner, and very lucky to live near such a great dealership.
