I brought my vehicle in for service and they damagedon't my truck they did pay for the damage but would not cover my fuel for running around for estimates it's a 30 mile round trip to town which I would have to drive 4 times plus another vehicle with my wife to pick me up and drop me off when it's done. Also they never told me about the damage and they all knew about it thank god I saw it before I left the dealership mark Lance would not pay me 25.00 to cover fuel costs I will have from this . Mark Lance thinks it's funny that I ask for that he laughed in my face I will never do business with them again

I have brought my Silverado there for service several times now. The service manager and his staff have always been very accomodating. Work was always done on time and as estimated. I will continue to do service there and will highly recommend others to do the same!

Special thanks to John Johnson for fixing my car and saving me THOUSANDS of dollars on bogus charges on unneeded fixes recommended by a Twin Cities dealership! If anyone needs an HONEST and AWESOME GM service shop, it's worth the trip to Don Johnson Motors in Rice Lake, WI! Trust me, I will drive there 1.5 hours one way AGAIN when I need my car repaired
poor service. rip off. - Boe
Very weak warrenty. Looks better on tv than what the dealer owners actually stand by.
Inconsistent mechanic inspections and or shady work.
Have not had any positive experience at all after the initial purchase of our vehicle.
Since they dont stand by the warrenty why would i ever want to go back if they couldn't fix the problems the first time.
However there are several other repair shops or car dealers in the town of Hayward that do put the customer first. That my personal opinion.
I Don't forsee this dealer being around with a good reputation for much longer.
Im giving a negative response based on several negative experiences.
I hope this helps you .
Service on my leased car. - acw543
I am currently leasing a brand new car from iron trail with only 8000 miles on it. The car has so many problems, and this service department is incapable of fixing them. I bring my car in monthly for the SAME problems. Terrible customer service.
Our car wouldn't start this morning, charged the battery,... - robertovick
Our car wouldn't start this morning, charged the battery, but wanted to find out why it went dead with only 18,000 miles on it. We were able to get an appt. this aft. They connected it to diagnostics, found out the battery was defective, replaced the battery, reprogrammed electronics, and washed the car. All was under warranty.
First car, problems before I even received license plate! - DRUN
This is my first car. I'm a college student. Nothing like a dealer taking advantage any way they can. TERRIBLE SERVICE, both from the service department AND from sales. Check engine light came on, had to get my license plate from them and another item fixed that was agreed to in the purchase, so I asked them to check this when I brought it in. Filled up with gas on my way there, noticed the gas cap had been loose so I tightened it. The check engine light did not come back on when I started it up. When I brought it in I explained that and they said they still wanted to check it out. They came back saying "the seal on your gas cap is bad, you are going to need a new one for $20". The charge was $100 for the diagnostics (!!!) to tell them the gas cap was "bad", plus the $20 for the cap. I complained but they wouldn't do anything about it. I was so flustered I drove away without checking, got 10 miles away and noticed they didn't put my license plate on so I had to drive back. I talked to my original sales person (Adam) and he had the gall to tell me 1. he couldn't do anything and 2. "They can't cover anything [parts] because we don't know how you drive." when I pointed out that my driving wouldn't create a bad gas cap seal not to mention the excessive $100 diagnostics charge his comment was "our mechanics still need to get paid" and "I wish we could make everyone perfectly happy, but we can't." What a crock. I would NEVER purchase from them knowing this is how they treat their new customers. OH, and they tried to use the line "we're just a small dealership so we can't afford to do what some of the big guys can do" .. yeah, they're part of the Sonju, Northstar Ford, ... and I forget, there are two others. they are NOT a small dealer. Liars and cheats.
Terrible Customer Care - NJC34
Purchased our vehicle here and have used the shop for all major repairs (anything but oil changes). Dealership is 50 miles from home. Was in Two Harbors and the vehicle died. Called shop for assistance and they REFUSED to help. Would not look at car, provide a loaner car, would not offer a tow even! Service manager made it very clear that he was not going to help. Will never do any business with this establisment again. They do not give a xxxx about customer loyalty or your business.
