Trade in of previous purchased vehicle - upsetcar
I purchased a vehicle from village chev about 1 1/2 ago, i had several warranty issues with it and wanted to trade it in. I was hoping they would work with me...Instead i felt horrible when i left, they said i put too many miles on it and they could not work with me. I bought it at around 37,000 and had 87,000. The car is a 2014 and 87,000 is not that much for a 5 year old car. Of course i knew i would take a hit on the trade in but they offered me but it was a lot. I wanted to try to figure it out but i felt like they just kicked me to the curb.I have bought two vehicles from them and had good previous experiences. I also want to say i had an appt at 4:30 and i confirmed it with the salesperson i would be there, he was not there...He Left! Wow! I am very upset with how i was treated tonight. I wont be recommending this dealership any more.

Low trade, poor communication - Edin2018
Went to trade in a vehicle for a new traverse. Was offered thousands less then other dealers. Then, because their car was priced below market, I figured I would submit a credit app anyways and see what happens. I didn’t hear anything until I followed up my self. Then I was told the finance is busy and since I wasn’t physically in the store, I was put on the back burner.
I waited an entire day, and still nothing. I then called my sales rep only to find out they still didn’t work on it but someone would be in touch. Almost entire day again went by and I followed up once again. I was told it was approved but I’d have to put some money down, I said how much, my rep said she didn’t know but someone would call me.
No one called so I purchased else where. Poor communication, low trade and felt as I wasn’t important.

I test drove and purchased a 2003 Subaru Forester on Friday, 2/8/19. Everything seemed ok. No dashboard warning lights or anything lit up so I figured I was getting a decent to and from work and backup family vehicle. Boy, was I mistaken!
I took the vehicle home on 2/9/19, and did not drive until Monday 2/11/19. On my way to work, the check engine, battery, and brake light came on. On my way to work on 2/12/19 the car was not running properly. After speaking with the used car manager, he basically told me to bring it in for a free inspection so that they could show me exactly what IWOULD NEED TO FIX. I attempted to do this, and the car died on the middle of University avenue and about 85th.
I'm extremely upset that I'm now out the $2700 the vehicle cost me, plus $250 to have it towed to my TRUSTED garage, plus what will end up being $3500 for a motor rebuild due to faulty timing belt, head gasket leaks, extremely worn brakes.
I'm extremely upset because they KNEW that I needed this car for family reasons. I believe that cars like the one I purchased thinking it was at the very least driveable, should last more than THREE DAYS.
I have no recourse but to pay the loan. They have offered me nothing in return for the piece of crap experience that I've had but to bring the vehicle in to tell me what is wrong with it.
Why would I bring it back to the place that sold me a vehicle that didn't even last me three days or two trips to and from my job? It is absolutely rediculous to not be able to expect a quality vehicle from a 'reputable, friendly' chevrolet dealership.

I was upset that the car that I actually had wanted was sold before I could come back to buy it. Bryan did an awesome job to make me happy. Found me a nicer car for the same price. He gave me a really good deal. I am very happy with my purchase.
