I drove from Wisconsin to this dealership due to their great pricing and vehicle selection. The dealer was great. He was very professional and a pleasure to interact with.
After I was done with the dealer, this is when the massive wait began. If I had known that it was going to take so long, I would have left with my family to go have lunch. We probably would have had enough time to go to the Minnesota Zoo for a couple of hours as well. They never asked me about my pre-qualified lender. I would have volunteered that information had somebody told me that is why it was taking so long. My family and I just sat there and waited not knowing what the big wait was for.
When I took delivery of my vehicle, they did clean it okay. I must admit that I thought a dealership would be better at detailing than me. I found a couple of scratches on the new car and there was still some dirt imbedded in the spoiler and by the windshield wipers. There was also wax residue above the driver's door and water spots/smears on the windows.
Overall the dealership does offer very good pricing and competent dealers. I would go there again. I wouldn't recommend waiting for the slow financing. They should just call or text when they are going to be ready.

Drove some distance to look at unique color and interior. Sales person reviewed car and then turned us over to manager. Obfuscation over pricing and not quite sure what we signed. Finance office was confused and later returned by UPS insurance card and drivers license. Finance asked us not to pay off car for at least 90 days so she would get extra Ford pay. Car poorly cleaned. Sales person later explained difficulty in cleaning cars. Not recommended.

I went to Dokmo because they had the lowest advertised price for a used 2017 Ford Escape; it was over an hour and a half drive from my home. I met with Scott and test drove two vehicles. I was impressed with the Escapes and even more impressed with the service from Dokmo. A genuine friendly dealer that was very personable. I cannot speak more highly of the experience. I will be back again for my next purchase.
My new Ecosport - Sweet
Due to my health issues this was a lengthy process and Hector was amazingly patient, listened to all my needs, my price range and even showed me cars not Ford products to help find what fit for me. I ended up with the best fit being my first new car the 2018 Ecosport and for once even got to pick what color I wanted. Love the advanced electronic features hook right up to my phone for hands-free use and the big easy to see screen for navigation. Plenty of leg room for rear passengers and cargo space for my needs.

In 2016 I needed a new transmission for my Ford Focus. The transmission was slipping and car was shuttering. While my car was under warranty. Brought it to Apple Valley Ford twice while under warranty, both times I was told I needed a software update. I bring my car back with 105,000 miles on it. Was told I needed a new transmission, and they would be glad to do it for $3,000. I took it elsewhere and got a transmission installed for half the price. Apple Ford refused to admit any wrong doing.
2017 my car gets side swiped and I need a side view mirror. I call Apple Ford to see how much it would be. They said it would be about $500 for after market, not including the matching paint which was another $500. I found a used mirror at a parts store with matching paint for $80 and installed it myself in less than five minutes.
Fast forward to present day. Looking at buying a new car. I contact Apple Ford online and text with Sean, asking a few questions. Sean ends up not replying for 3 hours and only replied then because I said I was no longer interested. A few days later my girlfriend and I go to look at the car I inquired about. We had Steve as our salesman. Steve said nothing to us about any details of the car. We had to ask him questions to get him to talk. The most he would say on the test drive was telling us where to turn. A couple days after that we came into the store again to attempt to buy the vehicle and trade in my vehicle. Mike comes and inspects my vehicle and says they'll offer my $500 for my vehicle. I was quoted trade in value $1,000 - $1,500 for other dealers. I can sell my car to a junk yard for more than $500. I walked out of the sale. This dealership has the worst customer service I've ever seen and I will never be going back.
I went to a different dealership where I got the vehicle I wanted for $4,000 less listing and $2400 for my trade in. Glad I went elsewhere.
