I recently stopped by Ray Chevrolet-Fox Lake while new car shopping. I was greeted and assisted by Ed Dembski. I found Ed to be extremely knowledgeable, patient, and easy to work with. I had concerns about car shopping during COVID as 90% of your car buying experience is conducted indoors. Ed went out of his way to accommodate my concern and minimized my indoor time substantially making me feel more at ease during a busy Black Friday shopping day. The dealership has taken all of the necessary steps to protect its customers. Ed streamlined the whole car buying process. When car shopping I highly recommend Ed Dembski for a A+ experience.

This is our second time into a Wickstrom dealership and our visit was Great. From the time we entered the dealership till the time that we drove off in our 2021 TrailBlazer , the help we received from Brad Dixon was 5 star plus more . He made us feel at home , took the stress out and answered all of our questions , we couldn't ask for a better person to help us with our purchase. The dealership and it's employees there treated us with respect and they weren't pushy ,Our son purchased his car from them a while back and enjoyed the experience there, so it would make perfect sense to purchase from them as well I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from them , and when you're there ask to see Brad . I would like to start out that I didn't end up purchasing the truck from Bigger's Chevrolet. However, I was impressed by how laid back they were and didn't pressure me into a deal. The salesman showed me the inspection and was willing to pull the truck into the shop to figure out what part of the tail gate failed the inspection (even if it was a small ding). Only reason I didn't purchase from them is I found a good fit somewhere else for my particular needs and I ended up purchasing from my cousin.

Will NEVER visit again even though they are less than 10min from my home...service hours are absurdly inconvenient and zero customer satisfaction. First visit after taking a few hours off work since there are no evening or weekend hours (I work until 5pm), brought my vehicle in at 3:30pm after my exterior door handle fell off. Mind you my vehicle is 1yr old and 10k miles. Dealer ordered a new part and when it arrived it was the wrong color, no one ensured it was painted correctly! I was called and told part was in so missed another few hours from work and then found out the part was wrong. This was after waiting 2-3 weeks for the part. Was told it will take at least another week to be corrected. Week later after taking another few hours off work, I come in to find out again no one ensured the part quality. Was told the part will have to go out again for at least ANOTHER week! Tried to speak with a service manager and apparently they have bankers since they were gone by 3:45pm, and ended up talking to the sales manager. All the sales manager had to tell me is that people make mistakes and they'll have to order the part again....mind you this is the 2nd mistake! I took an understanding after the first mistake because of Covid and numerous furloughs/layoffs but I do not take an understanding with the 2nd mistake on. There was my exact car in the showroom in which I asked for them to take the needed part off that one to right the situation and they refused to make any exception. They would rather let me leave unsatisfied leading me to take the time to write this. PLEASE save yourself the aggravation and visit another dealer for your service needs.

Don McCue Chevy did not meet our expectations. We were given false information regarding pricing prior to our appointment. The sales manager ensured they would have multiple vehicle information sheets ready for us to review for our appointment. Unfortunately, they were not prepared after we drove a long distance. After negotiating the purchase and leaving a deposit, the salesman did not communicate and did not return calls and text regarding when our vehicle would be ready. The dealership failed to deliver the agreed upon vehicle and still continued to not communicate. The customer service we received was very poor and we are deeply dissatisfied with Don McCue Chevy.

Terrible customer service!
We are longtime customers (vehicle purchase and service) of this location. Recently we had extensive repairs done on our vehicle which involved complete removal of our dashboard. In the process the information control module was damaged inoperable. The control module worked at the time the vehicle was dropped off as the service center requires reporting the vehicles exact mileage. The service team refused to take accountability for the damage although noting "at the time the car was dropped off it was working" and that being "disturbed and took out could of caused the damage". We will not be doing ANY business with this location again.
