Kudos to Paul Smith in the Parts Department. I'm a former customer of Westphal Chevy having bought my first two Trucks from them. I moved away and live in Milwaukee now. MY 93 year old Father still lives in Aurora and lost the keys to his 2001 Buick Lasabre. I contacted Paul by phone and he stepped in and researched the key and fob that I needed, contacted the local Locksmith and sent the parts over to him and charged me over the phone. As I drove down from Milwuakee, Paul's magic was at work. By the time I arrived at the Locksmith, the parts had arrived and the researched codes were in the hands of the Locksmith. In no time at all, I was at my Father's house synching the new key. A half hour later, my Dad's car was working again and I was on my way back to Milwaukee. Although the drive was long, the result was great ! Thank you so much, Paul. I truly appreciate the great service !!

I am always pleased when I walk into the Chevy Dealership here in Dekalb,IL. Everyone is always nice and greet you at the door. I usually get help from Jason who takes care of my vehicle needs. He always give me options as to what I can do to take care of my car. Rather its choosing the most affordable tires or my vehicles future needs that I need to keep in mind. When my car Axel needed repair I couldn't afford it right away, and that's when Jason offered me a dealers car to get back and forth to work for the week. I really appreciated that! He encouraged me to take care of my important bills like my rent that was due the same day that my vehichle broke down,and to prioritize. I felt carefree because of Jason, knowing that he was doing everything that he could to help until I came up with the money I needed to repair my car. He took the stress and heavy burdens off of my shoulders, and I can't say that any other dealership have ever treated me that well! I recommend everyone I know to visit Dekalb Chevrolet. Whenever I come to get something as simple as an oil change these guys take care of me right away. My wait time is not long and my visits are always pleasant! The refreshments are great and I feel very comfortable walking into that place trusting that they will take care of my vehicle needs in the most fast and friendly way possible. I had my 2008 Saturn towed in on a Monday because it was experiencing what seemed to be a transmission issue. Later that day I got a call from Chris in Service advising that there were multiple warnings being issued and that it would likely cost in excess of what I was willing to spend to repair. I advised that I didn’t want to do the repairs but might be interested in purchasing a new vehicle and to have a salesman contact me with a possible trade-in allowance and to discuss my options for a new vehicle. By 7pm that day I hadn’t heard from any sales people so I called back and asked again to discuss my situation with a salesman. Fast forward to Thursday and I still hadn’t heard from anyone at the dealership so I called service to ask what I owed so I could pick up my car and have it turned over to a junk car dealer. I also mentioned that I still had not heard from a sales person but at that point it was too late as I had already made a deal to purchase a new 2018 vehicle elsewhere. I’d like to say that your dealership most likely lost a sale simply because nobody felt it was necessary to call me back. I am extremely disappointed in their customer service, or rather the lack of customer service that I received. I will not be returning to the dealership for my future service needs on my 2011 Camaro.
bad company who abuses employees - cortezsavage
they allow management to physically abuse employees. they underpay employees and screw them on bonuses. the owners are wonderful but they don't see their management running the place into the ground.
