I purchased a Mercedes C350 Sport from Ultimo Motors on 3/15/2019. Frank Baginski was very helpful, and possessed and shared superior product knowledge about the vehicle and the buying process. Additionally, Frank was very friendly and avoided any hint of a "hard sell". The reality is that Ultimo Motors doesn't need those tactics, as they select and market excellent examples of the finest automobiles. The after-sale support personnel were also very good at their jobs and completed the paperwork and vehicle preparation beyond my expectations. Unusually Long Wait This Time - degraabm
I made an appointment to perform the scheduled 60000 mile maintenance on my Santa Fe. I was told it would take at least 4.5 hrs, but I decided to wait at the dealership for the service to be completed. 8 hours in and I had not received any updates from the service manager, so I had to ask on the status of my vehicle; after which I was told it was about 75% complete. Finally, after a 10 hour wait, my car was returned to me.
Normally the service is fast and prompt, but this time it was not. The service manager explained that they were very busy that day, so that is why it took longer than usual. However, since I had an appointment, I assumed I would have a dedicated tech working on my car. I'm not sure how the 60000 mile maintenance can take 10 hours with a dedicated tech. That tells me that my tech was pulled off working on my car to help service other cars who came in after me.
My main problems are 1) I did not get a good estimate for the total time the work would take (he told me the minimum amount of time it would take, not the actual estimate); 2) I received no updates during the day as delays came up; and 3) I also don't know the benefit of an appointment if I do not get a dedicated tech for my job.
Had I had known I would be waiting 10 hours, then I surely would have adjusted my plans.

While driving through the Chicago area on a long trip my 2010 Prius developed a loud rattle. I was just passing Northbrook Toyota on I-94, so I headed over to their service department, not knowing if they were even open on a Saturday afternoon. I explained to the service manager the problem and that I was from out of town on a trip. He asked me to have a seat in their waiting area and he would have one of their mechanics have a look at it. Less than an hour later he returned, handed me my keys and said "Your all set. We secured a loose heat shield." When I asked what the charges were, he replied " Nothing, have a safe trip." I was so shocked and eager to get on the road again that I forgot to get his name. Efficiency, kindness, compassion hard to find anywhere now a days.

I bought my new XC60 a couple of weeks ago. I absolutely love my new car and had a great experience at Volvo of Lisle. The staff there made everything easy. There was a small setback of when I could come back to pick up my car, due to a recall that was out of their control. Because of my crazy work schedule they made it work so I could pick it up the next day even though it was not convenient for them. Highly recommend!
