Was referred to Zimbrick by a family member. She told me they were a reputable dealer. Bought a used vehicle with no visual rust or corrosion problems. The car fax and dealers inspection listed no corrosion issues. Six months down the road with an extended warranty I take it in for a check engine light let them know the things that have been going on with the vehicle. It was down shifting for no reason and had been doing so sporadically since I bought it. They had to take some covers off and find corrosion on a wire to the transmission. Come to find out not covered by my extended warranty even tho they sold it to me in that condition. Instead of working with me I get a 350$ bill that I don’t believe they should have charged or at least split with me. This will be the first and only vehicle I will buy from Zimbrick. I recommend to anyone buying a vehicle from any dealer to have them do a corrosion check and sign off that you will not be charged if they sell you a vehicle that ends up having any. It was a Jetta that for its first 4-5 years was a Florida car. Wasn’t continually in Wisconsin till 2016 and had less than 100,000 miles on it when I bought it. Hard to think you’d have corrosion issues with that amount of miles.

My husband and I came in short notice and met with Gerald. We had a budget we hoped to stay in and two options of vehicles we were looking at. We test drove one and it didn't meet our needs. We test drove a 2nd vehicle that was unknowingly above our price range. After we returned from our 2nd test drive, Gerald was already working with another client and his overall demeanor had shifted to cold and uninterested. He showed us the sheet with payments and it was a $100-$150 higher then we wanted to pay. When I explained that it was over budget, the conversation was done and he was ready to walk away, with no discussion. I realized following that interaction that our budget was unrealistic but Gerald was not interested in taking the time to talk with us about that. Gerald said he would call if something we were looking for came in, but never asked our number. For a salesman of 31yrs experience the whole situation was very disappointing. The only thing he wanted to know is if our credit was A+ (which it is.) We went to a different car dealership, met with people who talked with us, we had a better reality of our budget and brought home a new to us vehicle. If Gerald would have taken the time and talked with us, rather then giving us the cold shoulder and dismissing, maybe the outcome could have been different.

I picked a car out of their online inventory and emailed Pugi indicating interest in the car and also included the Edmunds prices. In turn, I received a phone call from a salesman telling me they don't honor Edmunds and proceeded to speak to me in a patronizing manner. In short, I told him that if you won't match Edmunds, then we can't do business. Caveat Emptor.

Worst experience ever.. they can throw all their sales pitches to you, but they need to educate their staff on customer service., when you salesman asking you why did you come in to buy a new car vs buying your leased one to stay on budget.

hello used this dealership due to issues with selling dealer when car was purchased, the issue is desensitized service personnel, a steering issue is apparent three times sent vehicle to this dealer first time, steering is problematic, so they tightened steering column, when originally brought car there they actually said this year auto has possible component issues in the steering, second time brought back and the tech said put new tires on and have wheel alignment, i acknowledge the tires were bad but this steering issue is still there and felt it wasn't related to an alignment, the tires were replaced and called hyundai corporate this individual very considerate and concerned with our safety and satisfaction she referred specifically to service manager. now they claim nothing is wrong with car and claim it is a design issue with electric steering motor and they never acknowledged to the corporate person we were even there for service.
Bad Sales Tactics, Worse people skills - tcollins
Their Black Friday ad was misleading, and they refused to honor their stated special. They were technically not false advertising, so if they chose not to honor the ad fine, lots of dealers do that. The sales manger Chris Green came over to speak to us and told us we were confused about what the ad said, and he claimed it said something other than it did. I told him the only way to get a deal was to honor their ad, and give me fair value for my trade in. They proceeded to offer 10% under KBB, 15% under Edmonds, and 25% under NADA values for my trade. Once the deal was falling thru, and Chris Green was brought over, Chris was very condescending to us, and was clearly very unhappy that I had done my homework before coming into the dealership. We will not be going back to any Green dealership. I would give them zero stars if I could.
Our Sales person William Jones was good an I believe he was caught completely off guard by the bait and switch, condescending sales tactics used by management and Chris Green.
